my favourite instagram account is "wheredoesthepeecomeout" and it's run by a girl who asks men on tinder where cis women pee from and then documents their answers
WHAT IS THE FUCKING POINT
For some reason I was watching the legendary lost episode of Sherlock when John walked out of the screen and told me he was bisexual. He then transformed into a bat and flew away.
me: so u see apollo's objection theme starts out with the melody following the same beat as the rhythm track in the background, unlike phoenix's objection themes, which are all very distinctively syncopated all the way through. but as apollo's theme progresses the melody gradually gets more out of sync with the background rhythm track. this shows that while phoenix's style is unconventional and "off-beat" from the start, apollo starts out trying to do his job by the book but eventually finds that the most effective way to seek justice is to be a little unconventional and not just follow the beaten track because u can't win by following the rules in a broken system. do u understand. he's finding his voice. making himself heard against the background. it's symbolism

Actually same. We the fandom saw him once and went “We can give him trauma and fix him... But only in our fanfics we don’t associate with cannon”
It's weird if I don't like canon Gavin but I love fanon Gavin? Like fanon Gavin loves cat's, have a redemption arc and It's in love with rk900/connor but canon Gavin It's just an asshole, there's nothing likeable about him (I mean he's handsome I get the fangirls) :/
here’s the closeted furries “hey man… can u bum me a cig” and “the one uncle nobody invites to the family reunion but SOMEONE keeps telling him where it is anyways”
if you want an idea of what john is like, imagine hau from pokemon sumo

when you grow up being excluded, ostracised and alienated by your peers and/or society at large for reasons that are maybe not entirely apparent to you (or the people doing it to you for that matter), you internalise this vague sense of Being Other to such a degree that it becomes an integral part of you, one that you cannot separate yourself from anymore, and that inevitably leads to you being stuck in always either devaluing yourself or others. because if you are so irrevocably different from Them (and all they ever did was make you feel lesser than) it must be that either they are right and you are exceptional in your worthlessness OR they are wrong and you are exceptional in your superiority – and if you can't prove the latter, it must the former. that is why self-loathing and arrogance are actually often siblings, they constitute a dichotomy of distinctness, born from necessity, but nonetheless harmful and limiting. if you want to heal you will have to set yourself free from the idea of some inherent difference in value between you and everyone else in the world. you should have never been made to feel that there was one in the first place
Do they sleep with a stuffed animal? If they have multiple, who’s the favorite?
Can they take care of a plant? What about a pet? What about a child?
Ask them to describe their love interest.
Do they look good in red?
Speech! Speech! Speech! Speech! Will they give one, and what about?
Who will they take advice from, no matter what it is? Who won’t they take advice from, no matter what it is?
Describe them in three words. Now let them describe themself in three words.
Do complex puzzles intrigue or frustrate them?
Do they empathize with non-sentient things (dolls, plants, books…)?
What age do they most want to be right now?
They’ve won the lottery. Spend, or save?
Do they like romance in the books they read (or in the book they’re in)?
Name one thing their parents taught them.
Would they agree with the term ‘guilty pleasure’? Do they have any?
What would they consider a waste of time– other than school or work?
If money wasn’t a limit, what would they wear?
Do they like children?
Kissing: tongue or no tongue?
Do they study before tests? Practice before job interviews?
What do they like that nobody else does?
What would it take for them to break up with someone? What would be the last straw?
Do they like being called pet names? Do they call other people pet names? What’s their go-to?
Stability or novelty?
Honesty or charity?
Safety or possibility?
Talent or effort?
Forgiveness or vengeance (or…)?
Would they date a fixer-upper?
What recurring dreams do they have?
What would they do if they knew it would be forgiven?
i can’t think about kazuma’s various themes for too long bc i’ll throw up if i do. literally listen to ‘samurai on a mission’ and ‘a prosecutor, reborn’ back to back and you’ll see what i mean.
one thing that i am genuinely insane about is how the use of traditional japanese instruments gradually decreases throughout his 4 themes, so much so that you can barely hear it in his final theme, ‘a prosecutor, reborn’. other than symbolising how he’s assimilated to british society, it also serves to show how kazuma has changed:
all the grief and anger that was left to fester, hidden underneath a veneer of determination and justness has finally bubbled to the surface. kazuma cannot hide it anymore, he doesn’t have to. ryuunosuke sees a part of kazuma he’s never seen before: a grief stricken man looking for answers, searching for the truth no matter the cost
despite these differences, the melody remains almost the same because the man standing opposite ryuunosuke is still kazuma. he may be angry, cold and distant but he is still the same person; he is still the person who believed in ryuunosuke when no one else did, he is still ryuunosuke’s partner, he is still kazuma
Big Gay. Just here for the fandoms. Sometimes funny.
