When I say Divine Dark Feminine aesthetic this is what I mean.
Something that I think is very important to remember right now, is amidst all of the chaos and horror. You HAVE to take care of yourself.
Please, take breaks from social media. Take breaks from doomscrolling and the news. Go for a walk. Write. Paint. Draw. Work out. Watch your favorite show. Do whatever you need to do to keep yourself sane, because paralyzing yourself with fear doesn't help yourself or others.
Educate yourself, spread helpful information, spread positivity and support to your friends, followers, and family. And then when the weight of it all makes your heart and your neck hurt more than you can bare, step away for a moment.

Palestine will be Free

Guess we’re living in history? Holocaust, Nakba, and now. It’s been countless days we’re witnessing genocide in Gaza, countless martyred from unborn to elders, millions of innocent people have been displaced, even there’s no place to come back to. What else do we–do the government need, especially the US to prove that Gaza is slowly turning into a dead city?
Palestinians are living a life where death is more certain than being alive. How on earth do leaders still act blind? Is it because Palestine; Gaza is a middle eastern country filled with majority muslim? Is it because of 9/11? God knows, we all read the Bin Laden letters that have been kept for years and suddenly taken down because they hold the truth. This isn’t a war against Muslim or even Hamas and everyone knows this. It’s a GENOCIDE, end of discussion.
Few days ago, there was a truce to exchange hostages. It only lasts for 10 days. 10 days full of life; they get to breathe the fresh air, kids happily play by the beaches, they get to sleep for more that 8 hours without worrying about the bomb strikes, the point is they get to feel alive even if it's limited. Can you even imagine, in the midst of genocide, you’re offered a truce not a ceasefire? The thing is, even truce isn’t promising. They still got killed, maybe not by the bomb but shot to death. Isn’t that obvious? Now, after that 10 days of truce, Israel continued carpet bombing each area, even corner in Gaza, making sure no building stand and most importantly for them is no people left.
They are trapped in their own land, no place is safe in Gaza. They are slowly losing hope in the world–in us. If we’re tired of voicing the truth, how about them? How about the Palestinians who've been fighting for the past countless years? How about the kids who lost their parents? How about the elders who walk for God knows how many miles to find a safe place? How about the kids who have to carry white flag without knowing what for? How about the mothers who lost their newborn baby? How about the journalist who lost all his family members yet still covering the news? How about the grandfather who lost the soul of his soul? How about the mother who got burned with the baby inside her stomach? How about all the innocent people who are still buried under the rubble? How about them?
Our voice matters. What we’ve been doing for the past months is working. We won’t stop until Palestine is free from the oppressor. We want an IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE. We want CEASEFIRE NOW. Please do everything in your power to stop the genocide in Gaza–call your representatives, boycott things that related to genocide funding, voice the truth. We are their voice, we are their hope. Don’t lose hope. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.
🌹 a flower for everyone not feeling their best today
Esral Shikh has organised a worldwide campaign to call for a permanent ceasefire in gaza. Here are the details:
Total Strike on Monday, 11 Dec 2023.
It is necessary to paralyse the movement of life and the economic wheel in all countries so everyone feels directly affected by the genocide happening in Gaza.
Start making communications, spreading the word, mobilise your communities.
This strike includes transportation, aviation, trade, banks, ports, and even schools and universities.
Here’s how you can join the strike:
Don't buy anything (cash or online)
Don't use your bank account, and don't make any transaction
Don't leave your house
Deactivate your Facebook accounts (you can reactivate them later)—please make sure to follow the palestinians on other social media platforms to keep updated on their posts
Leave 1-star reviews on Instagram, Whatsapp, and Facebook on your app store and play store for silencing pro-palestinian voices and supporting genocide.
I would also suggest to not stream anything for the whole day (incl spotify, netflix, youtube, hulu, paramount, amazon prime, etc)
Tweet using the hashtag #StrikeForGaza
[For US citizens] sign your strike card as well
Do all these things together for maximum pressure
We are protesting but our protests are going largely unnoticed by the people in power, so we need to increase pressure.
Stop all operations on a working day, let the world feel even a fraction of what it’s like to have your life put on hold. It’s only a day. We can do this. If we mobilise and get people together who support this cause, we can make this happen.
17,400+ people have been killed. 7,000+ of which are children. 1.9M people have been displaced. Please. You owe it to them to speak up. Please stop this. Please call for permanent ceasefire.
It is short notice for some places, I apologise for that. These posts only just started circulating and showing up. Regardless, doesn’t hurt to try.
Praying for a just world; a world full of love and peace, a world with the right to equality for all, freedom from discrimination for all, right to life, liberty, and personal security for all, freedom from torture and degrading treatment for all, freedom from exile for all, right to freedom of movement for all, freedom to worship in peace for all, freedom of opinion and Information for all, right to education for all, right to water, food, and shelter for all, rights to adequate living standards for all.🙏🕊️
It’s feels so insignificant to have this struggle but I’m getting my period soon and there’s no place to buy cotton/pads or the specific painkillers I get and it’s so so cold my pre cramps are already killing me. It makes me feel so helpless. [@/ Dicktator117 on X. 12/28/23.]
“Periods Don't Stop for Conflict” I remember this headline addressing women's health in Ukraine. Not a peep out of those same agencies about Sudanese & Palestinian women struggling in war/conflict zones.

I created a link for a gofundme happening right now to ensure Period Care reaches folks who need it in Sudan, and I will re-post this here for folks who can share and/or support:
This link here will lead you to this post of where you can support/send funds so that period care reaches those who need it in [Palestine] and other areas as well.
