Their captors could care less about them. They just want to do their job and get paid. They have no reason to treat Whumpee as anything other than an uncooperative specimen.

Whumpee constantly fighting and screaming and trying to escape. It never works in their favor, and it only seems to annoy their captors

To their captors, it’s just another days work. They have no problem drugging, restraining, or borderline abusing Whumpee

For fear of messing up an experiment, they can’t openly hurt Whumpee, so they have to find more creative ways to do so. They can take away potential comfort objects (like a blanket or plush), shove Whumpee into small, cramped spaces, restrain them so Whumpee can’t move an inch, shock collar, etc

If Whumpee’s big on talking back, Whumper can cut their vocal chords

Surgeries without anesthesia whenever Whumpee really misbehaves

Dehumanization, acting as if Whumpee’s nothing more than another object they need to test and study

“Tests” that are simply for the point of punishing Whumpee.

Treat them like a literal lab rat. Shove them in a cramped cage with no privacy, have them constantly being monitored

The purpose of them eating is simply for the nutrition, the food is awful. If Whumpee refuses to eat, shove a feeding tube down their throat.

Whump Prompts: Water Torture

Content: Suffocation, waterboarding, drowning, creepy/intimate whumper, tiny whumpee, dehydration, forced to hurt, impossible choice.

Waterboard them. Put a cloth over their face and tip a heap of water onto them before watching as they flail and choke.

A creepy/intimate whumper bathing with their whumpee or sitting on a stool beside the tub and just dunking their entire head underwater without giving them enough time to suck in a deep breath. Make sure they're terrified of bathing by the time they're done:)

A dehydrated whumpee asks for water? tie them down, put a o-ring gag into their mouth and start tipping water into their mouth without giving them enough space to drink it all. Watch as they inevitably choke and scramble for air, trying to turn away from the stream of water but being completely stuck until you decide to show them mercy.

String them up like a piece of meat and dunk them inside a pool or a tank.

Tie them up and toss their entire body into the pool. Just watch as their writhing body floats to the bottom, not realising that they're attached to a rope and can be pulled out at any time.

Making them swim laps around a pool with no way to get out and the floor being just deep enough that they can't reach it without their head falling under. Forcing them to constantly work to keep themselves above water.

Putting a tiny whumpee inside a jar filled with water and screwing the lid on so there's no escape.

If they can keep their head below water for a certain amount of time, they can receive a day without any torture. If they fail, Whumper gets to have hours upon hours of fun with no stop. Their deal involving breaks so Whumpee doesn't die is revoked in this instance. Does Whumper make it achievable for Whumpee? Do they just wanna see how far Whumpee's body can be pushed?

Tying TWO whumpees together with a rope around their waists and tossing them into a pool.

Giving whumpee the choice between waterboarding someone else or getting waterboarded themselves. Bonus points if it's a loved one.

Dunking their head in water and then causing so much pain that they can't help but scream, effectively running out of air almost immediately in the process.

Nonbinary Lesboy

Happy pride month!

I've been looking for a non-binary lesboy flag on Tumblr but found no results, so I came up with one!

A sense of horror

One of my favorite tropes that I honestly think is pretty underrated is a loved one or an onlooker’s overwhelming sense of horror when they discover what has happened to a protagonist/MC.

Like.. a character stumbling in bleeding and broken—itheir loved one’s dread building and building as they unwrap the layers of mc’s clothing with shaking hands, only to find more and more and more blood— overwhelmed with panic and anguish when they discover just how deep the injuries go.

MC being brought home after a near-disastrous rescue mission, and the caretaker is finally able to get a good look at their injuries in proper lighting, and the horror hits them when they see deep, bloody gashes, whip marks crossing along their back, deep cuts and bruises in various stages of healing, a broken bone jutting out awkwardly at an angle it definitely shouldn’t be, and they’re just so overcome with revulsion and terror and heartache at what mc has had to endure. 

And that whole time, they had no idea. There was nothing they could do, but god they didn’t know it could get this bad. 

An onlooker, struck with a nauseating realization of how twisted some of their companions can be; the guilt of a bystander a weight that grows and grows, as they wrestle with dueling urges to help and to stay silent. (shoutout to @whumpsday for giving us another perfect example of this trope just yesterday)

Or even a villain/whumper, who agreed to participate in the cruelty, at some point down the line becoming too repulsed by the bloodthirst of their own comrades or fellow whumpers, suddenly unable to look anymore, wracked with guilt and disgust and thoughts of ‘god what have I done…’ 

A caretaker, rescuer, or even a new captor obtaining a whumpee who has been so conditioned by their past abuser that it makes their skin crawl. MC asking, begging to be punished at the slightest perceived mistake, or just bringing their new captor or guardian something to beat them with before falling to their knees. Anything that leaves them horrified, wondering ‘what the hell did they do to you’ yet also being too afraid to ask. The “are you my new master” trope may fall under this category and is also just immaculate. 

God I love this trope, whatever you call it.

They didn't know why they did it in the first place. They were stupid, stupid to think that he wouldn't hear when they'd said it so loudly to him. They even tried to hide it in their sobs but he'd tormented them so badly, they couldn't control the single word that might cost them their tongue.

In all their years with Whumper, they didn't utter such damning protest. Whumpee had never gone as far as to tell him 'no'. Especially not as loudly and as demanding as they had en route to a direct question of his. But now the damage was done and hours later, they laid in wait for him to punish them.

When the door creaked open and Whumper's shoes tapped at the flooring, each step made their heart skip the beat he aligned with. It was agonizing but they listened for his arrival and kept their head low in their kennel.

Nothing was said but Whumper opened their cage and left the door wide, insinuating he wanted them to come out. They crawled through the opening and sat just outside, waiting obediently for command.

"I know you remember what you did," Whumper spoke in an easy voice, intentionally trying not to startle them yet.

"Y-Yes, sir.." They saw the edge of something leather bulging from their pocket and they already knew it wouldn't be fun for them.

"I think you've been too spoiled if you're losing control from a little pain." He announced and took out the item they had been living in anxiety from. A muzzle with an internal bit.

They wanted to beg, to plead again but they swallowed it back, they wouldn't allow themselves to speak out. They couldn't earn something worse, he was indeed being gracious when they themselves thought they deserved to be muted. Their Master must have really been thoughtful with his punishment.

"Open your mouth pet, for telling your Master 'no'." He ordered lowly, intending to give no room for question.

They merely complied. They dropped their jaw and refused to look at him as he placed the bit between their teeth and strapped the first buckle to the back of their head. A second strap latched a small external cage over their parted lips and crossed behind their ears. It wasn't too bad until he tightened it.

He pulled the tension as far as it could go and shoved the center nail into the shortest latching hole to secure it. He heard them gag and sputter, fighting for a moment against the metal shoving against their tongue. They wheezed and fought for breath with panic but forced themselves calm at the risk of passing out.

"There there, surely this is better than a clipped tongue, right?" When he raked a hand through their hair, it didn't comfort them and they stifled another gag. They couldn't bear the thought of how long they would be left in the torturous device.

"I know if you could thank me, you would."

Hear Me Out #2: Guns

Comfort (SFW)

Whumpee acting very submissive just to get close enough to grab whumper's gun and shoot them.

Or maybe whumpee throws/slides it to caretaker and there is a slowed down whumper nearly catching the gun moment.

Caretaker and whumpee's mouth twisting into a relieved smile while the colour drains out of whumper's face.

Hurt (SFW)

Whumper shoving a gun into whumpee's mouth to make them stop talking.

Whumpee threatening whumper with a gun and being very confused as to why whumper isn't afraid until whumper points out that the gun is empty. Fear and panic suddenly overtaking whumpee's face as whumper can't hold their laugh in anymore. (Bonus points if 'caretaker' got them that gun as a test from whumper)

Whumper digging the gun's muzzle into whumpee's temple, promising to shoot them if caretaker takes even a step forward.

"Let's see what works faster whumpee, you strangling me or me shooting you."

Defiant whumpee yelling at whumper until whumper sighs and just takes out a gun.

Maybe they only threaten to shoot caretaker with it.

Or maybe they just shoot caretaker without any warning, and it all happens so fast that whumpee's eyes are just... wide in shock, their mouth agape.

"I told you to shut up, didn't I?"

Caretaker standing in front of whumper, begging them not to shoot whumpee. Whumper only slaps them with the gun, making them fall to the ground. (Bonus points if there's blood leaking out their mouth but they hold whumper's pants and keep begging)

Caretaker with their hands in the air, pretending to surrender to save whumpee. Whumper only smiles, going behind them and using their gun to pull their shirt up, revealing a hidden gun.

Whumper making whumpee shoot caretaker or vice versa.

Whumper placing a gun on the table as they sit down to interrogate a non-restrained whumpee. The gun acting as a silent warning but also making whumpee realise how helpless they are.

Technically whumpee can jump forward and take the gun at any time, but should they really?

Whumper giving whumpee a gun and asking them to shoot themself.

Or whumper giving whumpee a gun and asking them to shoot whumper.

Whumpee's hands trembling because the opportunity seems too good to be true.

Maybe it is too good to be true and when whumpee does shoot, it turns out that there are no bullets. Whumper severely punishing whumpee afterward.

Alternatively, what if it isn't too good to be true and whumpee actually could kill whumper. But whumpee is too afraid to shoot.

Does whumper reveal that the gun had bullets in it? Do they taunt whumpee about it forever?

Or is it kept a secret forever? Leaving whumpee having mixed feelings afterwards.

Whumper trying to shoot whumpee but caretaker jumps in front to save them. Whumpee feeling extremely guilty afterwards.

Or maybe, caretaker trying to shoot whumper but conditioned whumpee jumps in front to save them. Caretaker feeling extremely guilty afterwards.

Whumper tracing whumpee's entire naked body with the gun, making goosebumps appear on their skin.

whumper cuddling with their hand around whumpee’s throat, not squeezing or anything, just… resting there.

knowing that if they tried to pull away, that hand would tighten instantly and squeeze until whumpee was dizzy and writhing back against them

and size difference… their throat, so small and soft and delicate under whumper’s rough fingertips

the way whumper’s hands would fit around their waist— the way they could press in under their ribs until whumpee is choking and their chest is spasming

whumpee shivering when they feel low whispers in their ear. just… so sticky and possessive

whumpee waking up with sore aching muscles from being kept in the same uncomfortable position all night. they sleepily try and flex their muscles and move around—then they’re hit fully awake with a jolt of cold panic when they realize where they are—and that they still can’t move at all.

waking up with whumper’s arms still tightly wrapped around them and trying desperately to squirm away, before they feel whumper’s hold tighten around them and hear a sleepy possessive growl in their ear, “mnn… no. you stay.”
