Taliyah's dialect changes with each language

In shuriman and common language, it's relaxed. She understands both well, so it's relaxed and regularly uses slang.

In Noxus and Demacia, she's less confident. The words are shaky, and her voice is softer. If Taliyah trips over a word or says something wrong, how is she supposed to know?

The languages in Bilgewater and Shadow Isles? Yeah, no, she struggles. Can't even say/understand a single sentence.

Ionia... now that's interesting. While she understands it, it's hard on her tongue. Due to that, her sentences seem stressed, shaky, and unsure. Taliyah understands barely any slang

I think it's time I explain one of my favorite AUs to you guys. @iixesha and I created it back in January, when I was just spit balling ideas and this one was picked.

This was originally just for ONE rp, though it expanded and a whole universe was created. Since this is simply my Taliyah account, only The Forsaken are mentioned, but there are bunches of others! That, however, will be explained later on.

Taliyah was still a Shuriman girl in the beginning, when they had first met. A young sixteen year old with loads of energy and a heart to protect everyone good. While traveling the desert sands, she had ran into a boy her age, scarred and dangerous looking. Approaching him could’ve meant certain death, but he had weapons. Weapons, and packs of drugs he was supposed to be running for his gang back in Zaun. Of course, Taliyah felt the need to stop him, but was quickly defeated. Instead of killing the broken girl, Ekko had another plan. He plucked her off the ground, and brought her with him.

Taliyah fought against this. After all, he was a monster! Ekko was extremely displeased, and scars began to form on her own body. At one point, she had been shot in the arm. Every time she tried to run away, to be free once more, to see her mother’s face... The punishment for when he caught her got worse. Eventually, she learned to let him have his way, yet the snappy remarks didn’t disappear for quite some time.

During this time, running with and away from Ekko, she began to grow attached. She thought of him as some sort of twisted protector, sent by the celestials to tell her what was to happen to her. That was another reason she didn’t try to run away after a certain amount of time.

Being brought back to the gang was harsh. So many people, almost all as greedy as Ekko. Taliyah was forced to stay, to which she obeyed with little backlash. The shuriman stuck to Ekko’s side, learning from him, being protected from him, only speaking to him. Everyone else, though just as trashy, thought of Taliyah as nothing else as some pre-mature toy. 

After a couple years, three or so, she was awakened by a loud BAM! While gun shots were common, none was that close. After another, she rushed down the hall. There, standing in a door way, was Ekko. Gun in hand, splattered with blood, face emotionless. The gang leader was killed. While some fought Ekko about this, they promptly joined their ex leader in hell. Without much arguments from those who got the message, Ekko took over the position. He took Taliyah’s hand with a blood covered ring, and scared to refuse, they were married soon after.

Taliyah learned the reason of the marriage after their first meeting, as well as got told about all the others. The gangs- or mobs, as she was corrected- that ran territories all over Runeterra. Each had a different purpose, The Forsaken’s rival being The Damnation. Ran by Sett And Xayah(can’t decide if I want it to be as a brother/sister rule or a married couple with a Rakan helplessly pinning after Xayah with no avail). Taliyah was a show of wealth. During meetings, she was dressed in revealing clothes made of gold and garnets. Xayah in a dark purple ionian silk dress with diamonds and golden thread.

Taliyah was treated as nothing else than a toy. Something useless. Even after they had two children, a blind boy and a beautiful little girl, nothing changed. Screams, violence, and tears. Even though she’s in her late twenties, Taliyah feels like a helpless child. Drowning. Unable to get out. How could she? The only answer would be death.

Taliyah stared at Ekko for a moment or two before snatching his red glasses . The Shuriman put them on then ran onto the stage .

"Ekko, stop messing with my hair. We're about to go on stage!" *embarrassed bass player noises*

“Arak, eh?” He asked. He made a loud, but brief, whistle, and a man in fine attire rushed over, looking up at Sett with wide eyes, only to meet Sett’s specialty grin, showing off his devastatingly sharp fangs.

“Get the girl a glass of Arak, halved.” He ordered, “And get me a Bilgewater Blood Rum.”

The man nodded and rushed off, and he turned his attention to Taliyah once again.

“Now, tell me… Why Ionia? Why come so far from your homeland?” He wouldn’t lie.. even he got curious about the few people who proved themselves to be exceptionally different.

Taliyah  stayed  unwavering  through  the  loud  whistle ,  more  interested  on  what  this  guy  was  up  to .  Most  hardly  give  her  a  second  glance  if  she  was  in  Ionian  fashion ,  which  she  is ,  so  what’s  his  deal ?  Is  Sett  as  curious  as  her ?

As  the  man  walked  off ,  Taliyah  gave  him  a  quick  “ Thank  you ”  before  responding  to  The  Boss .

“ Simple .  My  master  is  here .  I  traveled  quite  a  bit  to  find  someone  to  teach  me  when  I  was  sixteen ,  and  I  finally  found  a  man  who  could  do  it .  Yes ,  he  may  be  a  drunk ,  but  he  was  the  best  I  had .  Shurima’s  needs  separated  us ,  and  I  left  to  fight  the  corrupted  ascended ,  Xerath .  However ,  I’m  still  not  all  that  stable . ”

Her  hazel  eyes  glanced  from  side  to  side  before  standing  on  her  tip  toes ,  a  mischievous  glint  in  her  eyes .  “ Keep  it  between  you  and  me ,  but  the  emperor  Azir  looks  more  like  a  glorified  chicken  than  a  leader . ”  She  whispered  playfully .

It wasn’t like this was the safest place in the world--In fact, quite the opposite, unless someone had Sett’s heavy hand resting upon their shoulder, and he wanted to make sure they were safe. Then even Jarvan Lightshield the Fourth, with his closest confidant and bodyguard beside him wouldn’t be half as safe as the one beside the infamous Half-beast.

And as he set his hand on her shoulder, a heavy weight, but not crushing, she was put right on that list. Until he decided otherwise, at least.

“Eh, it’s not an Ionian thing. And don’t worry too much, doll. It’s more of an... acquired taste.” He grinned, leaning forward a bit, hunching to lessen the size difference, at least somewhat.

“Don’t worry ‘bout that. What’s a little scrap of a thing like you doing here? Get caught by the wrong person, and you’ll end up in the cart. Unless you have a trick up your sleeve...”

Eyo! Forgot to mention, but this blog is OPEN to shipping! For Taliyah, there is quite literally a list of people who I've done ship role-plays with. What are some? Darius, Sett, Ezreal, Ekko, Sylas, Qiyana, even people from other fandoms! Off the top of my head, I can list at least twelve characters who have done something romantic with her. Feel free to drop into my DMs for some plotting or discussing! One sided love, enemies to lovers, forbidden love, childhood sweethearts, fake relationship turned real, I'm open. Only thing I'm hesitant about is abusive relationships, but there's a whole AU that proves I'll do those too.

Taliyah was curious . Always has been , always will be . And you know what always got her ? Suspicious notes , asking to see her in the graveyard past midnight . Ahri had warned Taliyah , but . . .

The young woman was already there . Standing at the gates of the cemetery , Tali heard something . The faintest chords of a guitar . Without a second thought , she took out her sword and cut the chains . That , along with the lock , fell onto the damp , foggy ground .

With a screech , the gate slowly opened , showing just how foggy it was . However , that's always the case in Aaa . The adventurer began to walk further into the nothingness , listening for the strum of a guitar . Without a doubt , it was Ekko .

With each quick step , the song became clearer and clearer . A voice soon joined in , and then there he was . The vampire king , floating mindlessly while strumming . . . Yet Taliyah did nothing to make her presence known . Instead , she sat on the headstone of someone long dead , chocolate eyes watching innocently .
