I think it's time I explain one of my favorite AUs to you guys. @iixesha and I created it back in January, when I was just spit balling ideas and this one was picked.
There will be triggering content ahead, such as: death, murder, depression, abuse, drug use and trade, kidnapping, Stockholm syndrome, and manipulation.

This was originally just for ONE rp, though it expanded and a whole universe was created. Since this is simply my Taliyah account, only The Forsaken are mentioned, but there are bunches of others! That, however, will be explained later on.
Taliyah was still a Shuriman girl in the beginning, when they had first met. A young sixteen year old with loads of energy and a heart to protect everyone good. While traveling the desert sands, she had ran into a boy her age, scarred and dangerous looking. Approaching him couldβve meant certain death, but he had weapons. Weapons, and packs of drugs he was supposed to be running for his gang back in Zaun. Of course, Taliyah felt the need to stop him, but was quickly defeated. Instead of killing the broken girl, Ekko had another plan. He plucked her off the ground, and brought her with him.
Taliyah fought against this. After all, he was a monster! Ekko was extremely displeased, and scars began to form on her own body. At one point, she had been shot in the arm. Every time she tried to run away, to be free once more, to see her motherβs face... The punishment for when he caught her got worse. Eventually, she learned to let him have his way, yet the snappy remarks didnβt disappear for quite some time.
During this time, running with and away from Ekko, she began to grow attached. She thought of him as some sort of twisted protector, sent by the celestials to tell her what was to happen to her. That was another reason she didnβt try to run away after a certain amount of time.
Being brought back to the gang was harsh. So many people, almost all as greedy as Ekko. Taliyah was forced to stay, to which she obeyed with little backlash. The shuriman stuck to Ekkoβs side, learning from him, being protected from him, only speaking to him. Everyone else, though just as trashy, thought of Taliyah as nothing else as some pre-mature toy.Β
After a couple years, three or so, she was awakened by a loud BAM! While gun shots were common, none was that close. After another, she rushed down the hall. There, standing in a door way, was Ekko. Gun in hand, splattered with blood, face emotionless. The gang leader was killed. While some fought Ekko about this, they promptly joined their ex leader in hell. Without much arguments from those who got the message, Ekko took over the position. He took Taliyahβs hand with a blood covered ring, and scared to refuse, they were married soon after.
Taliyah learned the reason of the marriage after their first meeting, as well as got told about all the others. The gangs- or mobs, as she was corrected- that ran territories all over Runeterra. Each had a different purpose, The Forsakenβs rival being The Damnation. Ran by Sett And Xayah(canβt decide if I want it to be as a brother/sister rule or a married couple with a Rakan helplessly pinning after Xayah with no avail). Taliyah was a show of wealth. During meetings, she was dressed in revealing clothes made of gold and garnets. Xayah in a dark purple ionian silk dress with diamonds and golden thread.
Taliyah was treated as nothing else than a toy. Something useless. Even after they had two children, a blind boy and a beautiful little girl, nothing changed. Screams, violence, and tears. Even though sheβs in her late twenties, Taliyah feels like a helpless child. Drowning. Unable to get out. How could she? The only answer would be death.

Fear . That was the main thing that overcame Taliyah . Fear and curiosity . Then , it all happened as she stood idly by . She felt like a mere object at that moment , a simple toy getting taken away .
But the frighteningly tall man the soldiers had called Sire . . . He was arguing for her . That's all she wanted . Well , that and to get these tiresome cuffs of white stone off her wrists . They drained her energy . . . And when Taliyah tried to will it off , it did nothing . The strangest thing ?
Taliyah can't hear it speak . Stones always spoke to her , but here . . . Demacia was a weird place .
Tali's thoughts were cut short when the strong , steady hands released her . The freckled woman was quick to stare up at her savior , him in his relaxed state and all . She blinked slowly before realization hit her , giving this man β Garen β a quick bow.
" E-Er , thank you . . . Sire . I truly think they were just over reacting . I go by Taliyah . Taliyah . . . Levy . " Demacia . It spoke such a complicated language . . . Her heavy accent was forcing her to have a LOT of difficulty speaking .
But Taliyah can manage .
" A meeting is a meeting , and you gave off a nice impression , " Taliyah reassured . Her head tilted to the side , dark brown locks revealing her other eye . A smile tugged at the corner of her plump , pink lips as she awkwardly stuck out both hands for a shake .
What ? It's a hard thing to do when you're cuffed !

This β¦ Was not the situation Taliyah had imagined sheβd get herself in .
It had all started so innocent ! Itβs really hard for her to believe that saving one clumsy kid from falling onto the hard ground would get her cuffed , yet here we are . A mage , clothes bright enough for everyone to know she was a foreigner , being grabbed at and shoved down the dull-looking streets of Demacia . Taliyah doesnβt understand what she did to deserve such treatment ! Maybe the Noxians on the ship were right β¦ Maybe she shouldβve avoided Demacia at all costs .
The young woman thought deeply , her chocolate eyes glancing towards the parting crowd . Looks of fear and hatred was all Taliyah saw . Fear , hatred , and β¦ Sadness . Now THAT was a huge red flag . β What are you doing - ? ! Whatβd I even do ? ! You - You canβt be serious ! β β Silence , woman , β was the only response she had gotten from the questions . Well , that and a dirty glare .
The guards around her came to a halt , Taliyah tearing her attention to whatever had stopped the now saluting guards . Or β¦ Whoever . A tall , masculine man stood there infront of the three . Maybe even Taliyahβs savior ! A glimmer of hope filled her mind . Maybe β¦ Maybe HE would understand how ridiculous this is ? Whoever this man was , he had power . That must mean heβs reasonable and smart ! Right ?
Pleaseβ please please PLEASE- tag anything that has needles. I have Trypanophobia(is that what it's called?). Just thinking about them makes me extremely uncomfortable- surgical or not. Most sharp things also do this to me, but needles are the worstβ
Even if it's one of those aesthetic pictures with glitter, I still can't do it.

Taliyah has always been light hearted . Call it anxiety , call it the way she was raised , the young woman could never get over something . This . . . was one of those somethings . " Ekko , I don't want you to hurt him ! I'm just . . . mad he hurt me . . . . Alright , really mad he hurt me . . . Do you promise it'll only make him yell ? " The young woman , face red and puffy from crying , smiled at Ekko awkwardly . Man , friends are great . . .

Hiya!! It's me, Lexie, with yet another ooc post! Last night I finally set up a discord server. My first one, in fact!
I hope I'm not asking for too much when I promote this. I just don't want my first serious server to flop, you feel? But! I understand if you don't want to join. OCs and custom Odyssey skins are absolutely welcomed! There are a couple strict rules, such as no drama between muns in server, but I'd like to think it's pretty flexible.

Taliyah was curious . Always has been , always will be . And you know what always got her ? Suspicious notes , asking to see her in the graveyard past midnight . Ahri had warned Taliyah , but . . .
The young woman was already there . Standing at the gates of the cemetery , Tali heard something . The faintest chords of a guitar . Without a second thought , she took out her sword and cut the chains . That , along with the lock , fell onto the damp , foggy ground .
With a screech , the gate slowly opened , showing just how foggy it was . However , that's always the case in Aaa . The adventurer began to walk further into the nothingness , listening for the strum of a guitar . Without a doubt , it was Ekko .
With each quick step , the song became clearer and clearer . A voice soon joined in , and then there he was . The vampire king , floating mindlessly while strumming . . . Yet Taliyah did nothing to make her presence known . Instead , she sat on the headstone of someone long dead , chocolate eyes watching innocently .

Taliyah doesn't know much about her traveling partner . He hardly ever spoke , after all ! When Ekko did , his low , rough voice was oh so hard to hear . But now , with the crackling of the fire , she could finally hear .
What he had to say , however , quickly removed what joy Taliyah had found .
How it used to be ? What did the sand guardian mean ? The Shuriman's chocolate eyes studied her companion , a hand reaching for his own .
" Change . . . Is inevitable . All we can do is chug along . Hopefully , someday , it will all be peaceful once more . " If one isn't able to tell , Taliyah is just spitting out what was in her mind . The days of her playing with the other kids in her tribe were long gone now , leaving uncertainty in her heart as the weight of growing up was set upon her shoulders .
" We can go through this together . R-Right ? "
