I finally watched Knives Out and it was so good!
Hey, I saw that you are working on a Christmas request. If it's okay may I please make a little request where the reader buys the master (Dhawan) a Christmas present and the master opens it on his TARDIS. He's so touched by the gift that he goes back to the reader to thank them but by the time he gets there, they are asleep on a sofa after cleaning up from a Christmas lunch/dinner
Hi! Thank you so much for this request, anon! I wrote this in a fury for Christmas because I really wanted to get it posted on the holiday.
I will post this fic tomorrow and I’ll like it below once I posted it.
I really hope that you enjoy!
Look To The Future Now
[Image Reads] Anonymous said - Hi! I’m not the person who requested the master x reader where she gets turned into a doll BUT I read it and it was so cute! I kinda need more, can I ask for a sequel? If you don't want to it's totally cool, love your account<3
I accidentally deleted the original ask, but here’s my copy of the request.
Thank you so much for the request anon! I really appreciate the fact that you enjoyed the first fic and that you requested. I am sorry that this too so long to write/post.
I ended up making this fic as more of a collection of scenes rather than a full connected fic. I really enjoyed writing this though, it was very fun and silly :) I hope that you enjoy it!
I will officially post My Baby Doll Part 2 tomorrow and I will link it HERE once I do.
Also, I will link My Baby Doll Part 1 HERE.
Thank you, again. And I hope you are all doing well! :)

Summary - The reader finds The Master’s hoodie and he doesn’t have the heart to ask for it back.
Warnings - nothing, just fluff
Word Count - 957
A/n - Gender Neutral Reader. Not Requested. I’m making this a fic about my personal AU where The Doctor didn’t regenerate, and he and The Master travelled together post-EOT. This is just my maladaptive daydream since I was ten and I need it.
------------------------------------------------------------
The Master grumbled under his breath as he sauntered into the library. The Doctor had just taunted him about his crush on you, said crush which The Master always denied having. Yet, the old Time Lord found himself seeking you out whenever The Doctor got like this The Master could complain about his old friend to you. Today was no different. The Master knew that you would be in the library, because you often lounged there, and he was so excited to rant to you. However, when he found you in a comfy chair by the roaring fire you were fast asleep.
Initially, upon seeing you, The Master wished to wake you up. His rant about The Doctor’s crazy theories needs to be heard after all. But when he looked at you, so comfy and unaware and innocent. The Master couldn’t bring himself to wake you up just because of his own selfish reasons. So, instead, he did everything he could to make you more comfortable.
The Master searched for a blanket within the vast library and finally, he saw one. The Master brought it back to where you were and placed it over you. The Master stood back and looked at you. You still didn’t look as comfortable as you could. So he fetched yet another blanket and tucked you snuggly into both.
The Master, then, was about to leave, but that still didn’t feel just right. He felt a growing warmth of sentimentality flow through him. He knew what he would have to do, not just because the Time Lord wanted to be possessive over you, but because he had to make sure that his, hopefully, future partner was warm. The Master sighed dramatically and shuffled out of his old and well-worn hoodie. He placed the item of clothing over the blankets. In your sleep-filled state, you unknowing cuddled the hoodie closer to yourself. The Master stared at you longingly for a moment as another warm feeling spread through his hearts. Upon realizing how real his feelings for you were, however, The Master rushed out of the library to deal with his feelings alone.
------------------------------------------------------------
You woke up randomly. Fragments of a dream about The Master floated through your head as you tried to place your surroundings. The library. That’s where you were. Yes, you remembered reading a new book a couple of hours ago. You had known that you should have gone back to your room, given how tired you were, but you were so enraptured by the story you were consuming that you just couldn’t stop. At least, The TARDIS lit a fire for you in your sleep.
You then noticed the blankets on top of you and the black hoodie you were cuddling. You didn’t remember those being here with you when you had fallen asleep. When did those get here? Despite your initial confusion, you shrugged the well-loved hoodie, that mostly smelled of smoke, over your head and made your way out of the library. You stumbled from the library toward your room. However, in your tiredness, you were unaware of The TARDIS changing the halls around. You were confused again when you walked into the console room, but you tried to just focus on your cosy awaiting bed and not the curious eyes of your two alien travelling companions.
“Y/n, is everything alright?” The Doctor asked from the far side of the console. The Master glared at this interaction, mostly because The Doctor forced his old friend to stay in the console room with him while he did some research, but also just general jealousy over your friendship with The Doctor.
“Yes, I just fell asleep in the library. So, I was going to head to my room.”
“Well, have a good night.” The Doctor smiled at you before catching a jealous look from The Master
“Goodnight, Master. Goodnight, Doctor.” This caught The Master’s attention. You said goodnight to him first despite him not saying a word to you. Maybe The Doctor’s teasing was telling the truth when he said that you indeed like The Master.
He waved a sweet goodnight to you and then watched as you sleepily stumbled through the halls toward your room. He wondered if he should run up behind you and carry you the rest of the way. The Master didn’t want you stumbling, falling, or hurting yourself in your tired state.
“Isn’t that your hoodie?” The Doctor commented once you were far enough away from the console room. The Master nodded.
“Then why didn’t you ask for it back?” The Master missed The Doctor’s knowing smirk as he continued to watch over you protectively.
“They’re barely awake. Why would I want to make them uncomfortable when they are hardly even conscious?” The Master turned and glared at his old friend. He was getting incredibly close to throwing a shoe at the Doctor’s head.
“You just want to see them in something of yours.”
“Do not!”
“Don’t lie! You’re the most possessive Time Lord I know!”
“And you are the most possessive Time Lord I know!”
The Doctor huffed and rolled his eyes; fighting back would have been nonsensical given how argumentative the two of them usually were, and The Doctor sensed that things seemed to be clearer in The Master’s mind now.
The Doctor moved around the console and plotted out some coordinates. However, he couldn’t help but sneak a couple of glances at the clearly lovesick Master staring protectively at you as you finally made it to your room. The Doctor really needed to get the two of you together before his head exploded. He couldn’t stand to watch this oblivious back-and-forth mutual pining game you and The Master played with each other.
Just a heads up everyone, I will begin posting fics again starting this week.
I've been a bit busy with personal stuff over the summer and school recently, so that is why I haven't posted. But I have built up a lot of fics, general updates, and some other things that I wanted to add to my blog that I have been meaning to post.
So, some days might be more post heavy than others.
I just wanted to warn everyone before I spam you guys.
But please keep in mind that I am still in school and dealing with stuff, but I am trying. So please be kind :)
- Ghost
Hi! I don't think I have said this yet, so I am just going to clarify it here.
But if anyone has sent me a request off anon and wishes to remain anonymous for whatever reason, please feel free to message me or send me an ask.
Even if I already posted the fic, I will go in and edit it.
I just don't want to make anyone feel awkward. I want to make sure that I respect everyone's privacy.
Anyway ... maintenance check-in is over -

There is a trend I’ve noticed that smut fics tend to be much more popular than anything else and honestly I just want to have something to look at to remind myself and that writing doesn’t have to have sex to be worth putting out into the community.
Summary - You catch Missy breaking into your flat.
Warnings - nothing, just funny fluff
Word Count - 706
A/n - Gender Neutral Reader. Not Requested. Just had this funny idea that Missy really likes breaking into places and stalking
------------------------------------------------------------
You had no idea how long Missy had been trapped in The Vault. You say trapped loosely. You were very aware that Missy would sneak out of The Vault whenever The Doctor or Nardole weren’t monitoring her too closely. Of course, it was obvious that Missy also enjoyed a challenge, and she would sometimes escape just to see if someone would notice and catch her.
You hadn’t noticed the first few times Missy had escaped whilst you were a companion of The Doctor’s. You eventually caught on, however, when you began smelling a fancy perfume drifting throughout your apartment at random times. The next time you went on an adventure with The Doctor, you interrupted him and Nardole discussing an anomaly with The Vault. They, of course, halted their conversation as soon as they saw you.
They believed that you were completely unaware of The Vault and that there was a person being kept in there, which you didn't really understand. The Vault was blatant to anyone who travelled down to the basement, which you had done many times, and whoever or whatever was in there was the opposite of quiet. You had no idea, however, that the person was Missy or that she had been watching you.
Missy’s secret was discovered by you one day, however. You were crowded into your bedroom finishing up some online work. Missy apparently thought that you were out as she crawled ups through your window. You heard movement and grabbed an umbrella from the hallway by your door. You screamed upon seeing the Victorian-looking woman climbing in halfway through your window.
“Hello, dearie! It’s an absolute pleasure to finally meet you!”
Bonus Under The Cut
Missy, somehow gracefully, fully climbed through your window and then patted down her Victorian-looking outfit. You couldn’t help but wonder why she was locked in The Vault. Other than looking a bit like a ghost haunting an old home, she didn’t appear to be that menacing.
“Are you the person in The Vault?”
“Were you going to hit me with an umbrella?” Missy ignored your question and cocked her head to the side to look at your makeshift weapon. Honestly, she was a bit impressed that you were prepared to attack her.
“Maybe, possibly. Never mind what I am using as a weapon, answer my question before I hit you!” Missy held up her hands defensively. She liked you more than she thought she would.
“Yes, I am the person in The Vault.
“Well, how do you keep getting out?”
“Not going to snitch on me are you, dearie?” Missy winked at you, causing you to become a bit flustered.
“No, just curious how you keep breaking out of there and breaking into my flat.”
“You know about that?” Missy’s impressed feelings for you continued to grow.
“Your perfume tends to linger.” Missy sniffed the air.
“It appears that it does. I’ll keep that in mind when I sneak out of the Vault again.”
“So, what do you want?”
“You, dearie.” You raised your umbrella protectively again.
“Not like that. I wish to get to know you. I think that we will get along.”
“You’ve got to admit that you phrased that weirdly.”
“Fair enough.” There was a bit of an awkward silence as Missy trailed off and began looking around your place. So, you decided to introduce yourself to this stranger.
“Well, I’m Y/n. Please don’t hurt me, or kill me, or hurt my friends.”
“I am The Master, but you may call me Missy if you like. I will never hurt you and as long as your friends don’t aggravate me, nothing will happen to them.”
“Including The Doctor?”
“We will wait and see for that one.” The two of you fell back into that awkward silence. Missy seemed intent on finding things out about you by going through your things. You would rather just get to know her like a normal person, despite how much The Doctor would protest everything you were doing.
“Do you want to watch a movie or something?”
“Yeah, alright.” Missy shrugged her shoulders, jumped down from where she was investigating the top shelf of your bookshelf, and then practically skipped past you to make her way to your sofa.
I’m Not Him
Ganger!Doctor x Reader
Summary - You liked The Doctor, but he didn’t feel the same way about you. What will happen when you meet his Ganger again?
Based On This Request -
Warnings - references to character death, sadness

A/n - Gender Neutral Reader. I posted this request over on my old Tumblr account and I just wanted to repost it on here.
------------------------------------------------------------
You walked, curiously and trepidatiously, around the halls and corners of The TARDIS. For the past couple of days, you heard The Doctor rummaging around the ship, and you finally decided to investigate. He would do stuff like this often, rummaging and making tons of noise, but not for this long of a time. He was definitely up to something.
The Doctor had avoided everyone since the events of Demon’s Run and it was beginning to scare you, more than the fact that he was secretly planning something behind your back. You had heard stories from Madame Vastra and River that The Doctor had a history of shutting down after extremely eye-opening or sorrowful events, but you had never seen him act like this yourself. You didn’t know how to react to him acting like this.
You had been left behind at Demon’s Run along with Amy, Rory, and River, and River eventually took all of you home with her vortex manipulator. Soon after you were getting used to being at home, though, The Doctor showed up at your doorstep. He said that it had been a while since he had seen you and he was excited for you to see what he had planned. You were excited, too, at the moment, but now you were just scared.
The Doctor Had not picked up Amy and Rory yet, but River invited herself into the TARDIS constantly. She added to The Doctor’s rummaging and whispering around the ship. You wondered what they were doing, but then you figured that you might not want to know.
However, one thought continued to plague your mind, and that was why The Doctor brought you back onto The TARDIS in the first place, especially without Amy and Rory. You had joined the couple after The Doctor ran into you on one of his private adventures that he would go on when he couldn’t sleep and stayed ever since. Your life on The TARDIS was much more exciting than your life on Earth and you didn’t want to stay on that planet any longer. But everything that led up to today was making you worried that your time exploring the Universe was ending.
The Doctor randomly jumped out from a corridor with his spacey wacey goggles hanging around his neck. You jumped and shrieked from the shock while The Doctor profusely apologised. He placed both of his hands on your shoulders and squeezed them reassuringly.
“Y/n, I have something very exciting to show you!” You barely mumbled a still shocked “okay” before The Doctor quickly grabbed your hand and lead you towards a room you had never seen before. It was dark, with only a couple of dim, orangy-yellowy lights glowing on the walls, making the whole situation stranger. You could see through the dim lighting that there was a mechanised tub similar to the machine you saw at Saint John's Base. You remembered that trip well, it was shocking and emotional, but you could not put the pieces The Doctor was feeding you together.
“Doctor, I don’t understand. What is all of this?”
“What does it look like? I’m fulfilling my promise and proving my theory correct.” The Doctor moved to fiddle with a few wires and tubes, making sure that they were all set.
“Your Ganger?” You questioned The Doctor, still confused.
“John Smith, yes!” The alien before you briefly stopped what he was doing to exclaim what he thought was obvious. Before getting back to checking to see if everything was in order.
“You’re bringing him back? Why?” The Doctor finally stopped fiddling with the machine to look at you confused.
“For you, of course!” You questioned what he meant by that.
“I saw how the two of you became very close that day. I thought that I might bring him back for you.” The Doctor looked slightly sad, and you didn’t know why.
“I thought he was you back then.” You weren’t lying, but you did like The Doctor’s Ganger, he seemed to care about you more than The Doctor, who seemed to only have eyes for Amy and River.
“After you found out, the two of you still became very close. I just don’t like you being alone, Y/n.” You were shocked by The Doctor’s reveal and didn’t know what to say to all of this information. You were going to tell The Doctor to wait, give you time to think if this is actually what you wanted, but he already started the machine.
The tub filled itself with a formula, and then the liquid moulded and formed into The Doctor’s Ganger. Both of you and The Doctor watched curiously as all of this was happening. Suddenly, The Ganger!Doctor’s eyes popped open, and he screamed loudly in pain. He curled into a fetal position while clutching his head. The Doctor went to check if everything was okay on the scans and computers in the corner monitoring everything.
You joined The Doctor to watch the computers as well, but then out of the corner of your eye, you saw The Ganger!Doctor jumping up out of the tub. He seemed perfectly fine despite the pain he was in a moment ago.
“Ah! I’m back!” He stated cheerfully, adjusting his red bowtie.
Your mouth fell open in shock after looking at The Ganger!Doctor in the eye. You didn’t know what to do or say. Your breath began to quicken, and your head started to hurt. So, you quickly turned to walk back to your room.
You were so confused. A jumble of emotions ran through your head, and you couldn’t really focus on any of them for a long time. You liked The Doctor, you had for a long time, but you never let yourself love him. You were well aware of The Doctor’s relationship with River, and you were happy for them both, but it did sting your heart a bit because you had no one. The Doctor and River had each other and Amy and Rory had each other, and you wanted someone, too. Now The Doctor was giving you his Ganger. The possibility of not being alone was right before you, but you couldn’t help but run away.
It was true, you did like the Ganger!Doctor when you first met him. But it felt as if you were being pawned off by The Doctor. You were now angry. You couldn’t help but feel like this “gift” was bittersweet because even though The Doctor was being kind, he would never understand why it hurt. And you felt so sad for The Ganger!Doctor. He never did anything wrong and kept getting hurt in the process. You didn’t really know what feeling to prioritise and you just needed to be alone.
After spending a couple of hours doing everything but thinking about what just happened, you finally accepted that The Ganger!Doctor was back, and he was here for you. You were grateful that The Doctor thought of you, despite the questionable act. And you really did want to get to know The Ganger!Doctor on a personal level and outside of an adventure. You considered going out and trying to talk to the Ganger!Doctor, but a sudden knock on your door drew you out of your thoughts. You spoke a quiet “come in” and readjusted the work you were doing off of your lap.
“Hello …” It was the Ganger!Doctor, lingering in the doorway. Normally you probably wouldn’t be able to tell, but he was wearing the same thing he was wearing before, and you didn’t think that The Doctor would clean all of The TARDIS grease off of his clothes and face that quickly.
“Hello,” You responded bittersweetly.
“Hello …” The Ganger!Doctor repeated himself, and you could tell that he cursed himself in his head because of the disgruntled face he made.
“May I come in?” You nodded and motioned for him to join you on the floor where you were sitting. You would always sit on the floor when you needed to think hard about something. The two of you sat there for a long time in silence. There was a weird tension that you couldn’t really describe. But the pair of you continued to catch each other's eyes and then quickly look away. The Ganger!Doctor began patting his knees with his hands anxiously.
“I’m not really him, you know.” The Ganger!Doctor suddenly spoke up quietly, with his voice tinted with sadness.
“What do you mean?” You finally looked into The Ganger!Doctor’s eyes for longer than a couple of seconds.
“I have all of The Doctor’s memories and I obviously look like him, but I’m my own person with my own thoughts and opinions. I don’t see you the same way he does.” You could see how sad he was and how much he just wanted to be seen as himself.
“I’m sorry for assuming that you were, especially after the events of Saint John’s Base. I guess it was just the shock of everything.” The Ganger!Doctor nodded at your statement, but you could see how solemn he still was.
“I’ll try to be better.” You tried to smile, but it was still bittersweet. So, you reached out to hold The Ganger!Doctor’s hand. He squeezed your hand tightly as if he was shocked that you were actually touching him and worried that you would let go too soon.
“I don’t want you to be better, I just want you to be yourself.” You nodded in understanding and both of you fell back into silence, but you continued to hold each other's hands.
“What do you want to be called?” You asked suddenly. The Ganger!Doctor quirked his head to the side in thought and fiddled with his bowtie with his free hand.
“John Smith is a decent name, at least until I come up with a more unique name. Does John Smith sound like a good name to be paired with a Stetson?”
“Yeah, I think it does!” You laughed at his cute question and genuinely smiled at the now John Smith.
“I’ll stick with John Smith then!” He smiled back at you widely causing you to giggle. You really did like seeing him smile so happily.
Far into the night, the pair of you continued to talk and giggle and laugh. You told wide stories about your adventures and you both told interesting facts about yourselves. Unbeknownst to you, The Doctor grinned bittersweetly from your open door frame, happy that you were finally happy and not alone.
Impromptu Sleepover
Whittaker!Doctor x Reader
Summary - The Reader invites The Doctor to open up about her feelings, even though she is not completely ready for that yet, she does come to The Reader for some comfort.
Based On This Request -
Warnings - mostly fluff, references to The Doctor’s trauma
Word Count - 1380
A/n - Gender Neutral Reader. Requested by this lovely anon on my old Tumblr account. A bit of an AU where all of Whittaker!Doctor’s companions travel with her, even after The Flux.
------------------------------------------------------------
The Doctor felt lonely and depressed lately, much more than she usually did when she had a TARDIS full of companions. She didn’t know how to be herself or see herself or even act like herself anymore. She had been this way for a while, ever since The Master revealed The Doctor’s real backstory and she was forced into the Judoon prison, The Doctor had been wanting someone to help her remember who she really was before all that happened.
The Doctor loved the Fam, she called them her family for a reason. But you were different. You had always been different. The Doctor had never been that fond of physical touch, but after the trauma and isolation she experienced, she became desperate for it. Well, she became desperate for your touch. The Doctor just became aware of how strong her feelings for you were when she was forced away from you and sent to prison. The Doctor had no idea how to inform you of her newfound feelings, however. So, she chose to remain silent, but she wanted you so badly. She had a feeling that you were the right person to help her through this time of intense change.
The environment was complicated after The Doctor returned to the Judoon Prison, too, not just The Doctor’s feelings revolving her identity. Everyone wanted to continue to travel with The Doctor, but all of you were hurt from the time spent apart. Except for Dan, but he was incredibly understanding of the circumstances. All of this, plus The Doctor’s unexpressed trauma and feelings made certain adventures and trips difficult to handle. Especially the last few trips. You, The Doctor, and the rest of her companions were all suffering silently when you went to sleep last night. The TARDIS was aware of everything happening in your heads, though, and she was felt like she had been biting her tongue for too long. The TARDIS needed to make sure her guests were all taken care off, so she prepared for a rest day.
It had been cold in the wall of the ship all morning. The Doctor tried to fix it before you and the rest of her companions woke up but was unsuccessful. The ship remained freezing cold and on top of all that, the console seemed to be frozen as well. The Doctor grumbled around the console room while talking to her ship, but you and your friends were happy to have a TARDIS day to relax. It had been a long time since all of you did that. The Doctor could fix the heating another day.
The rest day was filled with so much laughter. All of you watched multiple movies, made some hot cocoa and cookies and made a large pillow fort to relax in. At one point, you and your friends had a massive pillow fight. You, The Doctor and Yaz were on one team and Dan, Ryan, and Graham were on the other. You, The Doctor, and Yaz won the game, but then The Doctor hit you with a surprise attack and then that caused all of you to start a free-for-all pillow fight.
Unfortunately, though, the fun relaxing day had to end, and you and the rest of The Doctor’s companions prepared to go to sleep. You stopped in the doorway of the movie room before heading off to bed. When you noticed that The Doctor wasn’t also getting ready for bed like the rest of you. The Doctor was standing, staring, at the pillow fort the six of you had made while massaging her forehead. You tried to ask what she was thinking about, but you just managed to startle her. The Doctor jumped when she heard you, whipping out her sonic and pointing it at you. Once she realised that it was you and not some renegade alien breaking into her home, she quickly pocketed her sonic and offered you a quiet apology.
“You okay, Doc?”
“I’m fine, Y/n. You should get some sleep.”
“So should you. I know you don’t need as much sleep as I do, but you seem to be a bit off recently.”
“I’ll try.” You gave The Doctor a look, not fully believing her statement.
“I promise I will try to get some sleep, Y/n.” You nodded, sadly but decided to not push the person you cared enough the most any further. But before you left for your bedroom you spoke to The Doctor one more time.
“If you need me, Doc, for any reason, I’ll be in my room.”
You smiled and waved her goodnight. The Doctor waved back half-heartedly, more concerned with the implications of your past statement. Was that a purely platonic invitation or something more? Was The Doctor horrible for wanting something more intimate with you? Or have you been wanting a more romantic relationship with The Doctor for so long that this was your final attempt in getting her attention? The Doctor had to find out what you meant by your statement.
Upon entering your room, you released a hefty sigh. All you wanted was for The Doctor to feel better and to feel comfortable with talking to at least one of you. Of course, you wished that you were the person that she would come to, but just seeing her open up would be good to see, too. After climbing into bed and talking to yourself about your relationship with The Doctor and her mental and physical health, you finally quieted your mind and got some sleep. But you were woken up suddenly when you felt a cold hand against your stomach and a presence beside you.
“Doctor?” You hoped that your speculation was correct. Otherwise, a stranger would be in your bed.
“Yeah, it’s me.” You breathed a sigh of relief.
“Are you feeling alright?”
“I don’t know. But I do know that it is horribly cold in the TARDIS, and you are always so warm, and I didn’t want to be alone again.” In your sleepiness, you turned around to face The Doctor and pushed her onto her back before crawling up to lay on her chest.
“Well, I should warm you up, then.” You mumbled into The Doctor’s chest. You were unaware of how flustered this caused The Doctor to become. But eventually, The Doctor wrapped her arms around you and the two of you fell asleep.
“Good morning, Doctor.” You woke up curled into The Doctor’s neck.
“Good morning, lo - Y/n.” The Doctor responded. Her voice was deeper and a little raspy. You wanted to hear her sound like that every morning.
“Did you sleep well?”
“I think that was the best sleep I’ve ever had.” The Doctor said solemnly.
“Really?!” You popped your head up from The Doctor’s chest to look at her face. Your happiness upon hearing The Doctor’s confession made The Doctor smile.
“Yeah. You are a very comforting presence, even when sleeping.”
“I think that was the best sleep I’ve ever had, too, Doctor.” The Doctor brushed a hand down your face. She couldn’t believe that this was happening. After everything that she had been through, she didn’t feel deserving of having you in her arms or sleeping in your bed.
“Do you really mean that?”
“Of course, Doctor! I would never lie to you.” You both looked at each other longingly, adjusting closer to each other every once in a while, in hope that something more would happen this morning. But then your alarm started blaring, making you remove yourself from The Doctor’s arms. Unfortunately, you had to get up and prepare for the day, as did The Doctor. As you prepared all of the things you needed for your shower you spoke to The Doctor before she left your room.
“You know, you can sleep in my bed anytime you want.”
“Do you mean that?”
“Of course! I want you to be comfortable and happy, Doc.” The Doctor smiled at you and waved you a goodbye as a pledge to see you later that day. She might not be quite ready to open up fully to you yet, but she was getting there. And knowing that you would always be there for her made her feel so much safer.
