Sir please strip that ugly ass TVA uniform and change for gods sake. I actually liked President! Loki costume but he really needs new clothes
For some reason I really love this couple especially when they kiss and both of them close their eyes
Don't be mad at me now. Of course I want May to be 'happy', and possibly move on from Ben Parker and have a new relationship in the future. BUT this May Parker x Happy Hogan vibe?? It feels like it's not for May's happiness, but a set up for Happy Hogan's sweet retirement life. MCU keeps portraying Marrisa Tomei's aunt May as a 'sexy' 'young' 'MILF' and 'dateable' material ever since her first appearance in Civil War and I HATE IT.
Sometimes, it just feels like Marvel put Aunt May's character for sexual attraction for other male characters to flirt and talk about in town. I like Happy's character but it just feels like Marvel's trying to make a 'hot, cool, sexy female character with some old scars who can provide emotional support' for 'tired, hurt, male character who went through a lot and need some caring'. I hope it's just for comic relief and not actually building a serious relationship. I want both May Parker and Happy Hogan to have great lives, but just not together. Please??
So Captain Marvel comes to Earth with Tony & Nebula > According to CM end credits, Steve has a beard > Natasha has short blonde hair > CM meets the avengers
Steve shaved & Antman escapes the quantum realm > Natasha still has short blonde hair > Avengers (including Tony & Nebula, no Hawkeye) + Captain Marvel goes to Titan straight away to face Thanos > Since the Russos said that all the clips for promotion will be within first 25min of the film, they the team action scene probably happens in the early stage of the movie
They fail. The team goes back to Earth to 'recharge' > 1~2 years have passed > Natasha's hair reaches her shoulder > Recruits Clint Barton who lives as 'Ronin' at that point > Antman and other characters figure out the time travel through the quantum realm
3~4 years later > Everyone's here > Natasha has long red hair > Instead of fighting face to face with Thanos, the Avengers break into teams and each of them travel to different timelines > No toys, promotional clips, legos showed Captain Marvel & Okoye in the quantum realm suit > They probably stay in the current timeline
Asgardian brothers when encountering a Valkyrie
Thor: Heyyy you're a Valkyrie!!! I love Valkyries, I used to want to be one of you!! OMG your my role model
Loki: ? I thought all Valkyries died horribly. Oh wait just let me remind you of some of your worst nightmares
Ok this is a NO SPOILER review with my own opinions
+ Just because I love the character doesn't mean that I'm defending the actors with certain controversies. Actor=/=Character
Things I liked about the movie
- Newt and Leta's back to school storyline. I LOVED IT. The young actors who portrayed those characters were incredibly symmetrical to original actors and how a boy from Hufflepuff and girl from Slytherin hang out melted my heart
- Everyone's sense of fashion
- JONNY DEPP'S GRINDELWALD Oh my god guys. Whether you like him or not, it's just... he just nailed the entire performance. Honestly, I didn't like how they styled his hair and looks, but once you watch the movie, they don't matter anymore. It's just the dark wizard himself inspiring and grasping everyone's attention. Once you step out from the cinema, the only character I thought about was him.
- Grindelwald actually proposes a very reasonable and convincing agenda which scared me. He reminded me of Michael Fassbender's Magneto in X Men. Compared to Voldemort, who proposes an extreme dictatorship, G sounded like he was actually fighting for the rights for the wizards.
- MY BABY NIFFLER
- Lkie the first one, it was nice to see the adult's wizarding world where they are not students, but and actual member of the wizarding society with strong and built up abilities
Thing I didn't like
- The storyline was extremely weak tbh. The first act with Newt and his animals was interesting & exciting, but the second act was dragging the storyline. The story only built up with conflict and more conflict without a proper climax in the movie
- Leta's storyline was full of plot holes and mostly dragging the movie. There is a scene which includes her talking for the entire scene which I felt it was kind of unnecessary and makes you roll your eyes and go 'uhh, can we move on to next part now??' I liked Zoe's acting, but it's just David Yate's poor storytelling skills
- There were a lot of UNNECESSARY SUPPORTING CHARACTERS. Like seriously, the movie could have been 100% fine without them
- The title 'Fantastic beasts' sounds like an mere excuse to explain Dumbledore and Grindelwald's storyline. Both of it could have been a separate movie, where there is a spin off about Newt acting like a Pokemon trainer, searching and analysing magical creatures, but the main movie is about the actual Dumbledore vs Grindelwald storyline. Why combine those two??
It wasn't a movie you'd enjoy 100% in the cinema because it didn't really solve or developed a storyline, but it makes you wonder and get excited for the sequel. 6.7/10 for me
I really liked Nightwing's blue black costume.. I wonder why dc changed the costume colour
LOL WHEN ALFRED HAD BRITISH PANIC WHEN DIANA WAS MAKING TEA
Classic Alfred ๐๐
