heyy coco!!! so, I have a little story time slash question
my first actual attempt to shift was back in 2021, i didnt know anything abt the void state. at that time, i thought u could bring stuff from ur dr (i know.)
WELL, when i was doing the method, at some point i started to not feel my bed. eventually, i felt like I was floating in space. like it wasnt enough, i was also feeling my body spinning around ...
suddenly, flashlights started to appear right in front of my eyes. my eyelids started to shake. those symptoms were getting "worse" as i was counting down angrily. i was really excited, so I started to scream the affirmations in my head.
short-long-story, my neighbor punched the wall and i got scared. didnt shift.
since then, I wasnt able to feel that kind of stuff again. normally, i just sleep (MAKES ME SO MAAAD).
so, during 2023 and 2024 i took a pause from shifting. now, im back and with a toootallyy different mindset.
lately, everytime that i listen to a guided meditation, i can feel that im the state akin to sleep. i just stop feeling my bed and it looks like total blackness. its different to when u close ur eyes, y know? it feels like i have my eyes wide open in a dark room. but it feels very hard for me to keep trying to shift before i listen to the meditation, i just suddenly fall asleep.
the question is: was i in the void back in 2021? was i shifting? was it just my body falling asleep ?? do u have any tips abt those things ?? 😰

So, back in 2021, it sounds like you were very close to the Void State. Feeling like you were floating, losing sensation of your bed, and the flashes you experienced are all signs of entering a deep state of awareness. The spinning sensation and excitement likely disrupted you from fully entering, but you were definitely close. The Void is about losing your physical senses and existing purely as consciousness, so you were on the right track, AND YE I ALSO FEELT THAT WHEN U HAVE UR EYES WIDE AWAKE IN A DARK ROOM, THAT'S THE VOID FOR ME.
As for now, it sounds like you're entering the state akin to sleep, which is great progress! But falling asleep before shifting is a common issue for a lot of people. Try focusing more on staying present in that blackness before the sleepiness kicks in — don’t rush, don’t force, just trust you’re getting there.
Some tips:
Stay neutral and calm before starting — excitement or impatience can keep you from entering. Let go of the need to control it, and simply allow yourself to drift.
When you’re in that dark space, remain aware of it. Try not to “chase” the Void but let it come to you naturally. Gentle, slow breaths can help too — no forcing, just letting go.
Use affirmations or a mantra, but in a relaxed, non-urgent way. No pressure to make them work right away.
And to answer your question: It sounds like you were very close in 2021, and now you’re even closer! Just keep the mindset shift of relaxing into it instead of pushing for it, and you’ll definitely get there.

hi!! i just wanna say that today i lucid dreamed TWICE, and both was related to my dr.
in the first one i even thought i shifted bc i was in different room, so i started to scream like "FUCK FUCK SHIT I DID IT" but then when i did a reality check i had like 4 fingers</3 tried to make a portal tho but it didn't work.
the second one was right after that, i was looking for my dr mom. when i saw her, we hugged. she asked me if i was ok and then i started crying and said "i wanna go home". i know she understood what i meant and she lead me to my room (that wasnt my dr room btw). she said that it would be better if i try to go in another place, like the school's dorm. so i went there but forgot to do the portal and went to another dream (that wasnt lucid).
here's the thing: i was trying to shift last night, but got distracted while counting (smt that happens ALL the time. i know that this is the state where is better to affirm but its hard not to fall asleep). it was like "1... 2... 3... 4... augdh disandg * random words *" and i fell asleep.
everyday i wake up around 4 am to use the bathroom, so today it wasn't different. but when i went to the bed again, i said to myself "im gonna shift". started counting until 100 and trying to feel my dr room again. then, i fell asleep and had those lucid dreams.
i saw some people talking abt waking up in the middle of the night to try to shift, because we're in a great state (hypnopompic ig??). but, that happens to me naturally and every single day (but i wake up to use the bathroom, idk if it changes smt abt that state). how can i use this in my advantage?

like, have MINIMAL movement, im gonna show u a lucid dreaming technique, simply lay there, for just 10-20 seconds.

SECONDS, AND DONT COUNT OR YOULL BE TOO AWAKE, now after that, do a reality check, like breathing when closing ur nose or counting ur fingers, now why?
bc u would slip in an awake lucid dream :D
YES I KNOW SOUNDS WEIRD BUT I SWEAR I TRIED IT ONCE IT WAS SO TRIPPY, then, ground urself in the dream by getting off bed and touching the ground saying "i have grounded myself to this dream" you will see the dream being WAYYYY more stable, now make a portal (or not, simply do something else if you don't think portals will work)
bam, in there, you seem like you are actually good with lucid dreaming, give it a try!
How do you meditate?
Imagine a coin in your mind. As you inhale, see the coin gently falling down. As you exhale, see the coin slowly rising up. Repeat this rhythm with every breath. Focus only on the coin moving with your breath n nothing else. If your mind wanders, calmly bring it back to the coin.

Nah there are tons of reality, you're just choosing which one to be in since your awareness is in that desired period of time.
The "past" reality is your current if your awareness goes there, nothing is past or present if you decided to be in each, y'know? Permashifting is totally identifying yourself to the timeline you chose, so that won't be the "past" for you, it'll be your current.
Last night while imagining a blank space with Stars in it .. I felt my whole body spinning so fast .. and opened my eyes 💀

It's because your subconscious already made it the norm just as you made it the norm for you that you're name is xyz.
To change it, simply flip the thought when trying to manifest for something good, like simply say : oh no whenever I manifest something, everything gets in place so we'll omg.
And even if you see something bad happen, IGNORE IT AND DON'T FEED IT TO UR BRAIN, the first few times your mind will be like:
"tf are they tryna tell us? Here u go get this bad thing-"
To which you would respond:
"lmao what bad thing? It doesn't exist remember?"
This will make ur mind stop and go:
"doesn't exist....? Fr?... Oh alright then, here ya go there's your results."

Do you have any advice on what to do if I can't fall asleep while doing SATS? It worked once for me but when I focus on things like visualization or affirmations before sleep it keeps me awake. I feel like this method would get me into the void if I could actually fall asleep with it.

first, Stop trying to fall asleep
The biggest block is often this mindset: “I have to fall asleep for it to work.”
Nuh uh, you don’t. The power of SATS is in reaching the drowsy, floaty, surrender state, not sleep itself.
If you get there and hold your scene or affirmations gently, even if you stay awake, it still works.
Now another thing is to do it in the middle of the night when you wake up and go back to sleep immediately, you're already in the half asleep state so this is a game changer.
You said you'd wake up in the void. So did you wake up yesterday?💥
HEY ANON, NOPE, I DIDN'T.
I explained it on my post there just this morning that the main reason I actually didn't wake up nor entered the void was because I was actually desperate.
Now I acknowledged that fear and let it go, remember y'all, it's totally okay for people to slowly find and fix things, no one's perfect and that's completely okay 🌺
