The Princess Royal has delivered a message, on behalf of The King, during a visit to Guernsey to mark the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Bailiwick.
🇬🇬Today, Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, spent time with people from Guernsey who lived through the Occupation, as well as evacuees, veterans, volunteers, and members of the community who organised the celebrations.

This evening, The King attended the Film Premiere of ‘Ocean with David Attenborough’. The film highlights how the ocean has shaped the world, and why the future of the planet is intertwined with the health of the ocean.
🌊His Majesty, as Prince of Wales, first marked the issue of oil and plastic pollution in the sea in 1970 when he was 21 years old. Since then, The King has continued to champion the importance of ocean health.

Her Royal Highness heard about their experiences and the military significance of the island during the war.
The Princess also visited Little Sark, becoming the first Member of the Royal Family to do so.
A message from The King in recognition of all who work to support cancer patients and their loved ones.
This evening, Their Majesties will host representatives from community-based cancer organisations and initiatives to thank them for their tireless work in providing support to people navigating a diagnosis, as well as raising awareness of the preventative actions people can take.
