Hey I saw your new sing oc and i really liked there design so of course I’ve decided to draw fanart ✨
Oh my gosh this is so cute thank you!!!! I love this so much 😍😍😍😍 Wow, I love the way you colored her, and her monkey mane is perfect 🏆
I tried to ship my fursona with Klaus Kickenklober and.......this happened 😭 😭 😭
Summary:
Odalys del Mono crushes on Klaus Kickenklober when she enrolls in one of his dance classes by mistake. Her ignorance of ballet, however, along with the stupid pranks of her class clown friends, don’t exactly help her make a good first impression.

Teasers:
Odalys asked, “Do you guys know if he’s married? Or if he’s dating someone?”
This time, when Mortimer and Breck looked at each other, they burst into laughter.
“You like him? You like him?” Breck interrogated her in an accusing tone under his breath. “That is so lame!”
*
Odalys said to her friends, “So, tell me everything you know about Klaus Kickenklober. What type of monkey is he, anyway?”
“Oh, wait a minute, it starts with a P,” Mortimer began. “Probis...prunis...prenis...penis. Yes, that’s it! He’s a penisface monkey.”
“Mortimer!!” Odalys shrieked at him while Breck moaned into his hands.
*
“But in all seriousness, Odalys,” said Mortimer, “are you really going to keep going to Klaus’ class? Because I think he will eventually figure out that you are not a ballet instructor.”
“Yeah,” agreed Breck. “I mean, you just met him, and he already put you in third position timeout for like thirty minutes.”

Sing 2 Dir. by Garth Jennings
“Johnny, don’t worry. You’re gonna be working with the number one choreographer in Redshore City.”
“Klaus Kickenklober.”
“Yep. Klaus will turn you into a pro in no time.

Hahahaha @popy1moon this makes me laugh:
The three gay caballeros
Something dumb that I thought would be funny to draw
Hector belongs to @girl-monkey-odalys
Sneep snorp belongs to @whack-patty
Pickers belongs to yours truly
Finished this crazy little monstrosity. I love these two morons.
Look familiar?
There are many old theatres in the heart of downtown Los Angeles in the historic Theatre District, but this one, the Los Angeles Theatre, stands out as looking very much like Illumination’s Moon Theatre from Sing! (The Hyperion Theater in Disney’s California Adventure looks a lot like Moon Theatre as well but the Los Angeles was the “original” as it was used as a basis for the Hyperion.)
And if the uncanny similarities of the beautiful architecture outside wasn’t enough, just look at the gorgeous French Baroque interior from the lobby out through the auditorium and onto the stage.
Take a “tour” at their website losangelestheatre.com Or (for a fun tour!) watch the music video from Capital City’s Safe and Sound:
And for your reading pleasure, do a search on the history of the Los Angeles Theatre and the history of DTLA theatres in general. (For some reason this post won’t show up when I add hyperlinks to certain articles so I will leave the search up to you.)
These similarities makes sense, since the movie is based in California. (Oh, excuse me, Calatonia.)

Regarding the set design, director Garth Jennings stated on The Making of Sing (in the “Extras” on the DVD): “We went for a California-style city. I think it’s kind of a mash between San Francisco, Los Angeles, with some Miami colour schemes thrown in there just to sort of keep it delicious. We had those influences and then just infused all that into our set designs.”
Maybe… Union Station:
Maybe… somewhere on the streets of LA (Tai Chi/Yoga group outside; skateboarding; taco/fruit stand):
Maybe… San Francisco:
Speaking of San Francisco, what does SFJ Bank stand for: ?
Maybe… somewhere that definitely looks like LA:
And lets not forget where Eddie lives (in an LA-style mansion with a pool, probably in some expensive neighborhood like Bel Air or Brentwood? That’s just my opinion)… also where Nana Noodleman lives (looks like somewhere in the Palisades or Malibu overlooking the Pacific Ocean):

I’m not saying the Los Angeles Theatre is the inspiration behind Moon Theatre, since this was never quoted or confirmed by the makers of Sing. And it’s true that many historical theatres have exquisite European-style interior. But considering the architecture and the setting, it’s something to think about, isn’t it?
For anyone who doesn't have Netflix, here's the full Sing: Thriller short!
That dance teacher in Sing 2 befuddles me. He threw Johnny, who has absolutely zero ballet experience, into some decently difficult ballet dance moves with absolutely zero training. Ballet takes years of practice, Johnny had no hope of just jumping into doing that and he's lucky he didn't get seriously hurt.
Sing bird OC inspired by @picapicamagpie’s love for birds 🥹🥰😁
He is a Schalow’s Turaco and is a fitness instructor like my OC Odalys.
His name is Hector 😍
Confession: I obsess over the Sing/Sing 2 movies to the point that it’s…maybe not healthy? I thought I should seek out counseling, but instead I opened a Tumblr acount.Pfp by @cutekoala1001. Background by @mousepoppydraws1ut. Pinned image by @thecraftedmacaque.
