At the Japanese festival, there are rows of stalls called “DEMISE”. People can buy favorite food from a food stall, then enjoy it while walking around. Apart from the food, children can enjoy other activities at “DEMISE” such as shooting game, goldfish scooping game, or ring toss.

夏祭りに出かけてゆくと、気持ちもカメラも、 いつのまにか「夜店優先モード」になっているのでした。 誘蛾灯に誘われる羽虫のように、光に惑わされながら。

Ode to our Green Road #4

At the time of the end of cherry blossom season in town, the wild and vibrant colors are returning to our beloved Green Road.

今年の４月に、僕はこのTumblrをはじめました。 最初はなかなか慣れないことも多かったのですが、 （というか未だよくわかっていないカモです (笑)） おかげさまで、皆さんの素晴らしい投稿の数々と、 沢山の心優しい友人達に出会うことができました。 ここですごした時間のすべてに、心から感謝します。

Early in the morning before I went to pick up Nico, who had been hospitalized overnight at the animal hospital for spay surgery, Hug and me took a walk along the beach, just the two of us.

Hug seemed to forget about her job as Nico's educator for a while and frolicked “an only child” time for the first time in 4 months☺️🐶💙

避妊手術のため、動物病院へ１泊入院したニコを迎えにいく前に、ハグとふたりきりで早朝の海辺を散歩しに行きました。

ハグはニコの教育係の仕事をしばし忘れて、4ヶ月ぶりに思わず訪れた“ひとりっこ”時間にワチャワチャとはしゃいでおりました☺️🐶💙

縁あって、ジャックラッセルテリアの仔犬を新しく家族に迎えました。現在生後5ヶ月の女の子で名前はニコラと言いますが「ニコ」と呼んでもらえたらうれしいです♫ 実は1ヶ月ほど前からニコは我が家におりまして、ワクチンプログラムが終わり、先日ようやく散歩デビューを果たしたところ。現在社会化トレーニングをさせながらイヌの義務教育をほどこしている最中です。チョロチョロと活発に暴れ回る小さな怪獣に少々（いやかなり？😅）辟易しつつ、ハグもニコの教育係をしっかりと頑張ってくれています🐶❤️🐶

また、やはり多頭飼いを検討していた近所のイヌともさんが、ウチと同じタイミングでニコと同じ犬舎からきょうだいの仔犬を迎えたので、２頭はこれからも仲良く戯れながらすくすく成長していってくれることと思います。数ヶ月後、涼しくなる頃にはハグとニコが一緒にグリーン・ロードを軽快に歩けるようになってるんじゃないかなーと期待しつつ（いまはまだニコがワチャワチャしすぎているため、散歩はしばらく別々デスw）、僕にとっては実に12年ぶりの仔犬育て（遠い目…笑）、色々と大変ですけども（いやマジでw）楽しみながらがんばりまーす！

この町の桜 #３

Many cherry trees are blooming along the river also. The exercise limitation after surgery is gone, Hug became to able to walk long distances finally. She got back big smile on her face again, and she is counting on go to various places as before. If possible, we want to walk slowly all day long while taking a detour… But during this spring time, we have to endure it to keep our safe life.

I’m so sorry... my loving dog Hug… :'( Now, let's go home!!

近くの川沿いにもたくさんの桜たちが咲いています。 この辺りはハグのお気に入りの散歩コースのひとつ なのですが、術後の運動制限があった時期には とてもここまで歩いては来れなかったので、 ひさしぶりの訪問に、だいぶご機嫌顔です(´∀｀)

ようやく脚の怪我が良くなって、 特に休みの日には、春の薫りを嗅ぎながら、 一日中だってあちこち歩きまわりたいだろうけど、 いまはぐっと我慢だね。

さあ、ハグ。そろそろお家へ帰ろうか。

My dog,“HUG” celebrated 11th birthday :-)

I always wish her health and happiness.

And dear Tumblr's friends,

Hug is always grateful for your kind messages and daily support🐶❤️

愛犬・ハグが11歳の誕生日を迎えました。

イヌにとっては、自分の誕生日も単なる日常のなかの１日にすぎず、いつものように早起きをし、いつものように自然のなかを散策し、いつものように好奇心を刺激するものを見つけては、その瞳をキラキラと輝かせるのでした。

『ねえねえ、見て見て！近づいても全然逃げないアオサギがいるよっ✨🐶✨💕💕』

帰り道でも、すれ違う人たちに声をかけられ、頭や身体を撫でられて、終始ご機嫌さん（笑）

せっかくの記念日、飼い主的にはやっぱりハグに特別な気分を感じて欲しくて、今年も年に一度の贅沢プレートを作りました。今回はお肉づくしだよ♪さぁ、美味しく召し上がれ ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و

中型犬の年齢を人間に換算するとそろそろ70代に差し掛かろうかと言う歳なのだそうで、仔犬の頃から病気知らずの健康優良犬だったハグも、最近は体調を崩すと回復にやたら時間がかかったり、靭帯を痛めたことで起こりやすくなるらしい関節の炎症にも気を配らなければいけなかったりなど、シニア齢ならではの悩ましさもいろいろとありますが、ひたすらに前を向いて“いま”を生きるのがイヌの流儀であるのならば、僕はどこまでもその犬生の最良の理解者／最良の伴侶であり続けるのみです。

いつもハグを温かく見守って下さっている皆さまのご厚情に、あらためて心から感謝いたします。

さあ、ハグ！
