Cliche but still valid Villain x Hero trope:

Villain and Hero going round after round until Hero finally slips up and Villain gets the upper hand, pinning them hard against the wall. Hero’s panting, bruised and bloody, eyes narrowed and defiant, daring Villain to do their worst. And Villain can’t help but give in to impulse and kiss them. 

Bonus: Hero freezes up, completely shocked, and does nothing to stop them.

Bonus bonus: Hero freezes for just a moment and then melts, kissing back.

Bonus bonus bonus: Hero kisses back with purpose and then uses the distraction as a chance to finally stun and capture Villain.

Basic rules of Chinese stroke order. And when in doubt, just look it up. (Rule 3 vs. 9 and 10, for example, may seem to contradict a little bit.)

One trope Im a big fan of in media is when the loyalty outweighs a conflict of interest. I don’t agree with what you’re doing, but I will follow where you go no matter what. I will do anything for you even if it opposes my own morals

some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, “what’s the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?” and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is “unofficial”, and we know that’s not the right word, but it’s the only word we can come up with…until finally it’s like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is “artificial”.

It is absolutely useless to point out to me that my favorite characters went insane and perhaps slightly evil, especially when they were the ones wronged first. I support them and think they could have been more insane, actually. I think they should have just started attacking people on sight. They should have gone off the walls completely. They should have made all their decisions based off of grief and fear for far longer! I support rights and wrongs indiscriminately. I think forgive and forget should only come after they've worked through their hurt in the most destructive way possible and traumatized everyone back. Pls never assume otherwise

Hades, sweating: So, uh, I wanted to ask you-

Persephone: Oh FINALLY, you're proposing!

Hades: What- how did you know?!

Persephone: You dropped the ring six times during dinner.

Hades:

Persephone: I even had to pick it up once.

“Please.”

The hero barely heard the whispered word. Their head was throbbing, the world around them swimming in and out of focus and there was so much blood so much blood so much blood everywhere and agony ripping through their chest—

“You have to live. You have to, you have to, you have to, please.”

The hero was hallucinating, they had to be, because those were the villain’s eyes looking down at them, that was the villain’s voice, filled with pain and panic and something else the hero couldn’t name. The hero blinked and they were lost again, gone in a haze of blood and darkness, spinning away into nothingness…

“No!” the villain cried out, desperation creeping into their voice as they pressed their hands tighter to the hero’s side, a hopeless attempt to stop the bleeding. “You can’t die,” the villain whispered, voice hoarse and cracking, chest heaving with silent, broken sobs. “I’ll do anything you want, be anything you want, I promise. Just live.”

The hero fought to hold on to the words, to open their eyes to see something, to open their mouth to say something but they were slipping away, falling
