yeah, dreaming that alexander the greats evil twin sister was a dictator and that my lifes purpose is to prepare for her second awakening so i can kill her was in no way shape or form lingering in the back of my mind
recently i've been having those kind of dreams where its just better scenarios of things i regret and mistakes i made but done right- mended friendships and happier times. it's so real and so tangible that when i wake up it takes me a few minutes to realise. maybe i'll even remember text convos and then i'll check and realise it's not there. that's it's not real after all. i have a theory that dreams are just created from thoughts and repressed memories that linger in the back of your mind, which come to the forefront and get muddled together which is why they become so weird (well at least ik some of my dreams are).
exam season ended and i have officially finished secondary woah, however i'm going back for my schools sixth form so while it won't be the exact same i'll still be in the same place. i don't know why but it doesn't feel like everything is over, i still feel like i should be revising or something and i can't shake the feeling. it's super weird. i need to buy clothes for sixth form and ncs, kinda stumped i wont be going to prom but that shits rigged anyways so whatever, i'll probably go somewhere with my bestfriend which will be super cool. i should really get to cleaning my room since guests are coming tommorow so i'm gonna go do that that's all for now! - amimi
-confidence - work on speaking to people, noones going to hold your awkwardness over your head
(and anyone who does deserves to have all their movies spoiled and their favourite characters brutally murdered)
- study your ass off - this is your last year in secondary school. do well on your gcses and mocks. make it count, you want that scholarship you have to work for it. - you do you - let’s try to be ourselves and not care too much about other people and their irrelevant opinions this year and never cry over those who are undeserving Next year I want to sincerely better myself, please work on yourself too. I’ll see you next year ~ Amimi
HI I JUST GOT AN EMAIL SAYING I GOT ACCEPTED INTO SUMMER SCHOOL AND IM SCREAMING BECAUSE ITS THE ONLY PROGRAM IM ELIGIBLE FOR AND I WAS CRYING BEFORE OVER BEING A FAILURE BUT OH MY GOD
YAYAYAY
emotion is the hardest thing. you can know why you feel a certain way, what makes you feel that way, every detail inside and out but you can't actually put a stop to it. you'll just be going on with things and realise you don't feel that way anymore, for how long do things have to go on for until that realisation though. i'm stressing myself out by waiting.
i love books i love movies i love essays i love articles i love videos i love science i love art i love cultures i love history i love knowledge i love learning <3
my mom says she’s not a hugger. but when i put my arms around her on a gloomy day or after bad news she’s the last to let go. my dad says he doesn’t want gifts on his birthday, but i see the way his face lights up when i get him a card with a nice message and a box full of chocolate anyway. he’s just a kid inside, still. it makes him giddy. my brother never says i love you. but when i tell him “i just need to finish the dishes before i vacuum!” he wordlessly goes to vacuum the entire house before i can, and if he sees me struggle with a wrapper or a jar or a bottle he mutters ‘c’mere’ and opens it for me without even sparing me a glance. the thing is, people love you quietly, and you love them quietly, and the air is buzzing with tiny but grand gestures & once you look for them, you find them everywhere. i think that’s really beautiful.
i think nightmares are talked about way too much, i think the worst kind of torture is those good dreams, about making up with someone, about resolving issues, like its a whole year later and you finally think you moved on but it's the cruelest reminder when you wake up and you realize that it''d never happen and you're left there with a different kind of pain. that empty hole in your chest.
isn’t it weird how it’s already february but it’s also only february
