I have never thought about this at all. The fic is one shot and It is very satisfying to read because mostly I don’t ever feel enough with one-shots. The time takes place during Inojin’s Academy days. Sai’s POV, Sai and his interaction with other Yamanaka Clan’s members. Sai and Inojin, All other canon pairs and Saiino moments. It also have some of Ino-Shika-Chou formation. Canon Verse. Lovely fic overall!

I miss my tail, the rigid scales, and the flow of water,

I miss all my eyes, and the ability to see the world in so many ways,

I miss my sharp teeth, and the way they could keep predators away,

I miss my antlers, I long to decorate them once more, with vines and flowers,

I miss my hooves, and they way they’d gracefully propel me through the forest,

I miss my extra limbs, how I’d love to stretch them out and explore the world once more, being able to hold so much, and do such wonderful things,

And yet here I lay with nothing but my simple human form, with the soul of another, that longs for so much more.
