I've finally finished up my portfolio piece! Its Fi's Cafe v.3 and I'm v pleased with it. I'll put out a download link so you can walk about it yourself at somepoint! I'm sending out applications this week, wish me luck. I'll be adding more shots later, too

I was feeling v low in self confidence the other week due to doing really poorly on a piece of coursework, and while waiting for the natural emotional reaction to pass I figured I should do something that would directly make me feel good about my capabilities. Decided to do some boat + precedent sketches, which really cheered me up, and then I got great feedback about them too!

So I just got myself a nexus 7 so that I can draw digitally on-the-go, and boy is it hard to get used to. I got a few apps and so far autodesk sketchbook pro seems to be the best! Anyway, here are some trees referenced from the gorgeous magazine Outdoor Photography (=
