sketchbook time!
Library cafe, the one on the left is what I actually drew because I only had a green highlighter on me, and on the right is the correct colour... *thanks technology*
that sure was a peculiar palette to choose
Inktober #7
The rendering's really crude bc I've only had lessons on modelling [and only like four hours at that] so I had to kinda figure materials and stuff by myself? So 50% is just different colour surface shader haha. But yh here's an Artemis, 13yrold pirate protagonist of my group's assignment.
Fan art of the character Wrathia Bellarmina from the webcomic "Ava's demon" which if you are not reading, you are sorely missing out. Tablet sketch no 2!
to explain the quartz nails: Piezoelectricity. Do you know how quartz watches work? When given an electric current, quartz vibrates at a specific rate, and the watch measures it. It works the opposite way, too; if you hit quartz, it gives a little electricity. My brother was explaining this to me the other day, so I decided to incorporate it into my "solids" dragon; every hundred years, she comes to a certain town, and "recharges" their clock. idk man dragons and piezoelectricity are cool.
Pastel Space Mercrocs are exactly what my blog needed
