dinner table and people from when I went to see Tsaikovski's Sleeping Beauty
A small selection of life drawings done in the last few weeks I'm pleased with! The middle one in watercolours was an unusual 2-hr pose yesterday. I turned up a minute late and probably got the most difficult angle for the face but it was good fun (: I try to do something a little different each time, but my ultimate goal is to work out how to loosen up a bit...
So I did this small logo job last week, they only want it for the purposes of round stickers. They wanted f-holes, but I preferred without for the clarity of the S... Apparently they want it to be shiny, so I'm wondering if they'll UV layer it or something. If you don't recognise it, the blue design is based on the "scroll" of a bowed instrument.
Also known as Fried Egg Jellyfish, this particular specimen was found by a coast of the Aegean Sea, by Cape Sounion. (The cyan light is from the bucket we placed it in)
Must not be confused with the other "Fried Egg Jellyfish", the Phacellophora camtschatica, which is of a different genus, can get much larger, and has "normal" tentacles, as opposed to the Cotylorhiza Tuberculata, with its root-like tentacles, giving it its name ("rhiza" being the Greek word for "root" and "cotylo" being "stem".)
There are very few things in life that I am certain of; however, my ability to draw cute princesses is definitely one of them. WIP of a Monument Valley fanart.
