I'm sorry for the awful watermarks, but I couldn't find that part of the song on TikTok, and I didn't want to download it and edit it again.

This took months, and the distribution of that time was like 10% drawing the characters, 15% thinking about possible BG elements and drawing them, 50% procrastinating starting the editing, 15% animating the elements, 10% choosing and putting the transitions.

But I'm so happy that it's done 💖💖

MCCOY: It's hard to believe that a man could die of loneliness. KIRK: Not when you've sat in that room.

Kirk is remembering the feeling of the brainwiper. He is starting to spiral. He looks over at Spock, and the "cold, emotionless" Spock looks genuinely concerned.

I'm here. I see you. How can I help you? What do you need?

But just that one gentle, loving, concerned look from Spock, is enough to make Kirk feel safe again. He starts acting normal again. He smiles, ever so slightly. He gives an order.

KIRK: Take us out of orbit, Mister Spock. Ahead warp factor one.

This time, the supposedly "emotionless" Spock, literally smiles, ever so slightly, back at Kirk. He does that little lip-pursing thing he does when he's trying really hard not to smile for real.

Why is Kirk giving the order to Spock? That's an order for the helmsman. It's almost as if, to Kirk, Spock is the only other person in the room.

And the flirty, sparkly bedroom eyes Spock makes during "Warp factor one"?

Come on, let's gay flirt our way out of this place. I'll help you forget the tortures of this planet ever existed. We're together. All is right with the galaxy.

SPOCK: Acknowledged, Captain. Warp factor one.

before I actually hopped on the dracula train I saw a lot of assertions around that seward is unstoppably horny, and this is true, but it did not prepare me for the way in which seward is unstoppably horny. it's not unbridled carnality, it's more a shade of the "I think I could survive truly horrific circumstances if I had a crush on someone there" phenomenon. jack is in the pits of despair and doing Real Bad and sees everyone else around him as effortlessly more charismatic and competent than he is, so his poor brain is trying to cope by falling terribly, embarrassingly in love with all of his friends to try and spark any kind of joie de vivre. it gets him there eventually but there's a real curve to it, so he spends a good month or two thinking "goddd lucy is so achingly beautiful. quincy has the most manhood of all of us. I want van helsing to treat me like his student again and put me in my place. I haven't slept in four days and I hope something tragicly preventable happens to me tomorrow."
