YES AND LOOK i know they only used it as a plot device for the spymaster reveal but thr fact that the doctor immediately remembered o was a champion sprinter is crazy like theyve either reread his files numerous times or just paid immense attention and either way its only further proof of how much theyreally liked him which would make the reveal so evil ughhhhgggg i needed tjis so bad

i know a lot of ppl who would use the power to rewrite thirteens era to get rid of the timeless child stuff but if someone told me i could change her era i would just make o a companion for her first season for purely selfish reasons (he fascinates me, i want more content to use to study him) and let 13 suffer more with the reveal after that ig

I don't think there will be a regeneration like the 10th Doctor's again, and not for the angst of "I don't want to go" or the long drawn out goodbye. I'm more thinking about the injuries.

Because before he takes in the radiation, he shatters a ceiling of glass around himself, and then we watch him crawl and stand with shards of glass in his hands and his face so raw and bloodied, and I honestly don't know if we'll see that again.

Eccleston, Capaldi, Whitaker were all so clean when they died, in pain yes, but in a single photo you can't tell. But if u look at a single photo of 10. Just look at him

And I just think seeing this amazing man, my hero, my favourite person in all of tv, brutalised like this... I think it broke me a little.

(And that's all before I get into the imagery of the radiation and him wiping away his injuries as a metaphor for regeneration as much as a precursor).
