I Love Doing Research For My Ocs :3

Whoever left me unattended wrapping gifts this year should be promptly fired (aka, give them a promotion because I got to cause massive chaos :D)

Long story short, I've been in charge of wrapping a lot of the things I got peeps in my family. I usually always do, but the running joke is that I NEVER sign any of them with my own name... Keeping the joke alive this year, I signed one of my brother's gifts as 'The Fitness Gram Pacer Test'

And in the same sitting, I took a bunch of the trash I had and molded it into a fishing pole to wrap one of my dad's since his running joke (since he's a huge fisherman) is that when my mom asks for gift ideas, he says 'so-and-so had their eye on this fishing pole for a while now'.

Moral of the story: I have learned I'm a subtle menace when in a positive mindset and left unattended for more than two hours at a time :D

(Also, the one story for Whitebeard's crew I'm writing for Christmas will probably be out -hopefully- by the end of the weekend. But my hands are going to be pretty tied for most of it. So I'm going to be grinding the last little bit of tomorrow to get it done! >:3)

I don't think I've shared the characters I am obsessed with drawing here, so I'll give you all fair warning now:

The characters that I find fun to draw are characters I'll probably draw....a lot, lol.

And on that extensive list is:

-Heat

-Thatch, Rakuyo, and pretty much any WBP member

-Coeazon (because he's best boi and was the first character that really got me doing art for the OP fandom óvò I've drawn Sabo and Sanji first, but I didn't really hammer art until I started drawing for Corazon! So he holds a special place with my art <3)

-Ivankov, somehow XD (And I don't mind it one bit, I'm here for the dramatic designs òwó)

-Lee and Bernice, obviously (they're my OP OCS, of course I draw them all the time!)

-All three ASL brothers, ironically enough. They're easy designs to do, and I love making memes of the three of them sharing a braincell, lol

I'm venturing out to other characters as well, but for the time being, these are the main ones. So while I try new art, please enjoy my Ivankov WIP from a meme template I'm making for the one piece oc peeps :3

A Proper Introduction

This has been up for a while, so allow me to actually shorten this a bit now XD-

Hi! If you don't know me, please just address me as Ducky! Some of the things you'll quickly find out if you stick around on my little piece of the internet (I call it the duck pond-) is that I cosplay, do art (I went to college for animation, but I do tend to draw very slowly at times, lol-) and write. I also stream every Friday, or at least try to. I do have things that do get in the way of my regular posting schedules, so I do apologize if I go weeks on end without streaming or posting gameplay-

For the most part, I do tend to do a lot of art for One Piece. HOWEVER, there are certain fandoms that I will occasionally make art for... unless I'm just posting vent art of some kind. Which is rare, but I do every now and then. (Also, you will catch me making and posting art of my oc x cc shippings because...why not? FREE WILL EXISTS FOR A REASON, SHUSH-) Uhhh...other things to know for fun because why not? :D -I go by she/her -I'm 22, but VERY awkward with talking to everyone -I'm a Gemini! -INFJ with a 9w1 enneagram :3 -I am ALWAYS looking for peeps to do art/cosplay collabs with! So don't be afraid to reach out at anytime to ask to do one! ^v^ -The anxiety levels are over 9,000 (Hence the reason it might feel like I'm ignoring you or most people in general. I just have a hard time with talking to people, but I'm trying to work on it!) -HUGE card and coin collector. I mostly collect One Piece cards, but...have you seen Bisai's art for the different sets? Their art is so pretty!! >w< So, I actually collect to appreciate the art, lol (And am currently looking to try and find someone that could help me learn how to play the game-) -Favorite voice actor is Ian Sinclair. (He does a lot of cool roles :3) -Top five One Piece Characters (In no real order): Thatch, Corazon, Heat, Killer, and Fukaboshi (The rest of Whitebeard's crew is right behind them, lol-) -Oddly enough, I've come to realize that most of my favorite characters over all of the anime and games I'm in are ENFJs, and I don't know how it keeps happening XD Uhhhh...Oh, right! Things to know about my ocs: -Regarding any of my ocs, you are ABSOLUTELY allowed to make fan art for them! I just ask that you tag me in it so that I can reblog it (You better believe I'm going to treat my page like a fridge, AND IT'S BIG ENOUGH TO DISPLAY ALL OF IT!) -All of my current ocs that have completed wikis are posted up on my Wattpad account, so you can go view all of the information on them there. But please do be warned, when I typed their info up in their original documents, a lot of them stretched to about 42 pages? Something like that? So do be warned that you'll be reading for a long while, lol. -My current oc x cc pairings are for One piece only atm. (I'm currently working out a Mouthwashing oc because that game has me in such a bad chokehold currently, it's not even funny XD) Those pairings are: Thatch and Bernice, Heat and Lee, and Rakuyo and Pandora (Tonta is also there, but he's Pandora's son, so...yeah-) -My ask box can be for any of my ocs, or even drawing suggestions. And finally...fandoms I'm in! -Hetalia (...this show has had me in a death grip since 2010, shush-) -Creepypasta -Demon Slayer (We can be friends or enemies depending on your views of Gyomei >:3) -Jojo's Bizarre Adventure -Alice in the Country of Hearts (I FEEL LIKE THE VILLAGE CRAZY LADY BEING THE ONLY ONE THAT STILL LOVES THIS FANDOM, PLEASE, IT'S SO GOOD, BLOW IT UP-) -Villainous (And I have to clarify: Cartoon Network Villainous, Not Disney Villainous-) -Tokyo Debunkers -Hazbin Hotel (I have loved the concept since the pilot episode released, though I don't really talk about it that much. Apparently the fandom has a bad rep? Dunno how, I guess I just haven't dipped my toes into the fandom that far yet-) -Obey Me! That's not my Neighbor -The Arcana: Visual Novel -Fnaf: Security Breach -Naruto -My Hero Academia (Again, another fandom that has a bad rep, but I personally just don't mingle with others. AND BEFORE YOU ASK, no, I don't really like a lot of the popular characters. Shoji is actually my favorite out of the whole fandom (What? I like a lot of the roles that Ian Sinclair voices, ok!) -Fire Force (ANOTHER UNDERRATED FANDOM!!) -Mouthwashing (HAVE YOU SEEN THE CHARACTER DESIGN LORE FOR THIS GAME?! And with you peeps knowing me, I'm a HUIGE sucker when it comes to intricate details for character designing!! (I think my oc wikis and their 50 paged documents speak for themselves on that, lol-)) Please be patient, I'm currently working on a chapter directory for Appraise Love since the chapters are really spread out in comparison to a lot of my projects- (Updated as of 2/27/25)

I've never actually stopped to think about this. Like, I knew about Stefan, but...IMAGINE WHAT HAPPENED WITH MARINEFORD-

I know with some dogs (like my own) can show loyalty to a huge group of people, but show just a little more to the person they see as their owner. And now all I can imagine is a happy Stefan waiting for Whitebeard to come back after Marineford, but he never does DX

So if you didn’t know already (I had no clue..) Whitebeards mustache is removable. Like he can put it on and take it off. SO READ THIS REAL QUICK

WHITEBEARD HAS A DOG😭 a small ass dog at that! You know bro was probably terrified of hurting it. Imagine that big ass man with that tiny ass dog bro. Sitting on his big ass chair petting him. Imagine there being some kind of protocol whenever pirates/marines would try and board their ship and Whitebeard has one person he really trusts to get the little guy out of there and protect him at all costs during the fight. Imagine how pampered that tiny ass dog is. Bro probably had a vet just for him on the ship. Imagine his little corner with his bed and stuff, his own little room. I’m imagining one of those small, long white haired dogs. The drawing doesn’t give us much to go off of but that’s what I’m picturing in my head. I like the idea that if it is a long white hair dog that whitebeard has tried to get the groomers to give him the same mustache so they could twin. Also if whitebeard wasn’t the one that found/ got the dog and brought it on the ship then imagine one of his crew members finding it and bringing it to the ship, asking to keep it and Whitebeards just like “Fine but I’m not taking care of it!” As if he didn’t want it. Ya know how dads always do that with pets when you first get them then they fall in love with it. Then they are suddenly in love with the dog they “didn’t want”.

But that’s besides the point. What I’m worried about is, what happened to the dog after Whitebeard died???? Where is bro? Where was the dog during MarineFord? Was he storming the place too or was bro locked in a room on the ship??? Was he at the funeral?? IM LITERALLY GONNA CRY STOPPP. I need oda to write a book about Whitebeard and his dog. It will be the only book about a man and his dog I will ever read because I know one of them is probably gonna die in the end and I’m too scared. Someone please give me fanart of this dog. Write a story about bro or something I don’t care PLEASE I just need more about this little guy before I go insane

Here's your daily set of head canons for Whitebeard's crew! :3 (Especially since either have been in need of something comfort/fluffy wise to cope with irl stuff ;v;)

-Rakuyo is an Uta fan. In a perfect world where none of the crew dies/disbands, he actually saves his money up to take himself and all of the commanders (or his entire division if the others get fed up hearing him rant about her music) to one of her concerts.

-In continuation of the concert hc, Rakuyo also developed his liking in flashy outfits/jewelry from competing against other super fans (*coughs* bepo *coughs*) in the way of attire. He just happened to find out during one of the concerts that it also distracts Marco as well.

-Kingdew, Atmos, Blenheim, and Fossa all have gambling nights every third Saturday where they play for actual money. They usually don't let anyone else usually join them after Blamenco secretly kept sneaking coins and was putting them in his pockets and Haruta ran out of money and substituted his bets with I.O.U notes.

-Speaking of Haruta, he's TERRIBLE with money. And not by a little, lol. After the poker incident, and after three years of him getting the allotted amount of money for him and his division to share 'stolen' or 'lost', eventually his division did rat him out for making terrible purchases. (It was all for mostly gag items or clothes that none of them really needed-)

-Namur actually has a similar incident that Brook and his crew had with Laboon. After saving a seal from being hunted by humans, every so often a small group will occasionally spend a few days swimming next to the Moby. No one knows about this or why it happens since this was something that went on before he joined them. (And Stefan usually does get VERY jealous when this happens since most of the crew is paying attention to them instead of him, lol.)

-Marco has an odd taste in women. Unlike Thatch who's more predictable in the body type he prefers, Marco has specific qualities/ personalities that he likes. He can pick up on whether someone is being genuine or not, and most of the time will turn women away when he knows what they're after. It's only far and few in between the type of women he turns away that he'll actually give them a chance. ( A bit more depth: he prefers women who are more 'bratty' or bashful/timid. Although he see pride as something important in everyday work, he doesn't see it as important in relationships...if that makes sense-)

-Following that up, Thatch and Ace have similar tastes in women as one another. Both of them like women who play hard-to-get, or women who are openly kind whether they're shy or bold. However, their taste in body types are different. Ace prefers women who are more muscular, or are taller. Why? He feels like they'll at least be safe without him around. Thatch, however, does prefer curvier/chubbier women. Why? Because he's a HUGE cuddler, and he loves having something to hold. (Atmos, Curiel, and Rakuyo also have the same taste in body types as Thatch.)

-The nurses on the ship were specifically picked based on each crew member's type in women so none of the crew members would be tempted to try and hit on them. Even more so, at least three of them are actual biological siblings to a few of the men on board.

-Speed Jill, Rakuyo, Izo, and Namur do try to request off days with the nurses. Why? They enjoy they relax days they have, and so long as they're with them, they won't get teased about wanting to relax/ have a spa day.

-A third of the crew showers daily, the rest of them are either every other day/ every two to three days, or once a week/ once every other week. Among the few who shower daily are Thatch (because garlic, onions, and other unsavory spices aren't exactly something ladies flock to. Plus, he uses an abundance of hair gel in his pompadour, he has to in order to reduce damaging his hair), Haruta- surprisingly-, and Jozu. Most of the other commanders are every couple of days or every other day, Curiel and Ace are the only ones who have to be FORCED to bathe. (Yes, even Blamenco is more hygienic then Ace. You kind of have to be with Mary Poppins tote bag as your DF, lol.)

-Izo is the financial advisor of the ship, and usually is the first to put his foot down if anyone tries to shelter stray animals. Stefan was the only exception since Whitebeard was the one that brought him on board. Everyone else has to turn the animals they find loose on the islands they stop at. Since he manages the money (Thanks to Haruta-) he makes sure there's just enough to get them supplies. The rest of the money goes towards a bail fund if some group or pirates tries to kidnap one of them for ransom (this has actually happened to Blenheim and Fossa before. And surprisingly it wasn't their fault. They were actually kidnapped directly from the ship.)

The amount of disappointment I have is unreal.

(Lol, no I'm joking about the whole being mad. But I did have a pretty rough day, so hearing this from on of the b-day accounts on IG actually made me happy! I'll have to do something for them.

Oh, oh! Before I forget, tomorrow is also Vista's, so you better mark it down to remember! >:3 Maybe I'll do some one shots or doodles. I dunno, it depends on how I feel tomorrow I guess, lol-)

The fact that I have not been around for a couple of weeks, oof-

My apologies, though! I swear I am going to start getting more out in the next upcoming weeks! I know that a lot of you peeps over here aren't familiar with me and how holidays run for me and my family, so I'll just give you peeps a heads up that I will probably be a little inactive until the first of the year on all of my social media platforms!

Why? Simple: outside of the fact that I have a fairly tightly knit family and a lot of traditions that we usually continue every year, my family and I do like to actually make a lot of our Christmas gifts. It just beats going out and mindlessly buying things (at least that's why I try to put thought into what I wanna make everyone, lol-)

I will say that I plan to take and post all of my art to all of my social media platforms so I can start the new year with a clean slate of art. So there probably won't be anything new from my other social media accounts ^-^

Fear not, though! I actually have A LOT of art that I doodle on my breaks at work, and plan to digitalize ALL of it! As for the Bernice and Thatch comic, I actually do have the second part done. I have one more frame of line work, and then roughing in the background. But everything on it is set up to be put out! I will also be working a new schedule to make sure I put proper content out on time. So every month 'A Pawsible Problem' will get a new chapter, and every week I'll try to get a new art piece out. (Please hold me to this, I have a HORRIBLE memory and will forget this is what I want my new schedule for 2025 to be, lol)
