Hey Arnold PS118 Gang Job Headcanons
Just thought of something I’d do for fun and to give my thoughts. I’m only doing Arnold and his class. I don’t want to overload myself with characters.
Arnold: I see him becoming a guidance counselor for PS118. He wishes to help bring a brighter future to Hillwood and to help kids through their problems. He didn’t like the idea of asking for so much money as a therapist. He also still helps his parents run the boarding house.
Gerald: I believe he would become the next radio DJ of MJZZ. He loves it there, but he’s also trying to offer his voice to audio books as well because he misses telling stories like the ones he did as a kid.
Phoebe: She decides to become a college professor to help mold the minds of future world builders. She originally was going to be Helga’s editor, but life happened and she decided to live herself and give Helga time to heal on her own. She misses her, but she feels it’s the best course of action for both of them, no matter how painful.
Harold: After blowing his one shot of getting a college degree in football, he becomes the butcher he dreamed of as an early teen.
Sid: Since one of his dreams jobs was archaeology, I think he would most likely become a museum curator. I think he’s too paranoid to actually explore the world and be an archaeologist, but museum curators have to have knowledge in archaeology though. I thought it would fit, but I also think an actuary job fits him as well. XD
Stinky: After all the times he got pushed into a trash he believes it as a prophetic sign from the “Mystical Disembodied Voice” to become a garbage man (you can just hear Helga saying, “Stinky you’re an idiot.”). He still maintains a proper garden and sells the harvest every now and then, but not many people in the city would buy from a place called “Stinky’s Stand”.
Rhonda: She tried to make it as an actress, model, and even a fashion designer, but none were successful. Her parents grown sick of her wasting money on her temporary dreams, so they tell to either get a job, follow the family business in stocks, or they’ll cut off her ties to their bank account. So now she work’s at the Gammelthorpe‘s dry cleaners to pay off beauty school in hopes maybe she’ll run a beauty salon. She growing tired of broken dreams and seriously considers marrying for money every now and then.
Nadine: She becomes an entomologist. It was the most fitting since of her undying love of things creepy and crawly.
Sheena: She becomes a home health nurse because it was originally a way to prepare for Eugene’s inevitable need of constant medical attention. She eventually does it for herself because she genuinely likes this line of work with or without Eugene.
Eugene: He moves away to become a musical theatre actor in California. However, fate had different plans. Instead he settles for becoming a stunt double in comedy movies. Even if he’s no more than an in-between shot in a film, Eugene is just happy that his dream has technically come true. He still hopes one day he will be the main protagonist in a bigtime musical one day.
Curly: He ran off with Eugene to make it as a star as well. He a bit more successful than Eugene do to his over-the-top personality. He still doesn’t get the best roles, but at least he’s not a stunt double. I like to think Eugene and Curly would have an “Odd Couple” type of friendship when they’re trying to be famous.
Lila: Thanks to the help of Olga she became the famous ballerina she always wanted to be. She gets to tour with a crew and dance into everybody’s hearts. Even though her dream has come true, she misses Hillwood, even more than she ever missed Pleasantville. So choosing her friends and family of Hillwood over ballet, she quits her dream, and becomes a ballet teacher instead. She also gardens on the side. ;3
Brainy: He moved to Elk Island and became a woodsperson… (I don’t know think of something better!)
Lorenzo: He’s rich...
Helga: Not getting into the college of her dreams was one of the worst days of her life. Arnold and her broke up, Arnold left to go to college in another state, she never got to say goodbye to him, Phoebe left for the college of her dreams, and Olga was permanently staying in Hillwood to become an actress. She had never felt so low and pathetic. She was never one to wallow in her pain though, so she hardened up, and kept moving forward with her life. She went to a community college in Hillwood to have some form of education until she can figure out what she could do next. She worked two jobs, Slausen’s in the day and El Patio at night. She needed two to save up for whatever she was going to do next and pay the rent of her apartment. There was no way she was staying in the dump her parents called a home now that she was a legal adult. Eventually, she finally decided to become a teacher. She always enjoyed telling people what to do, so might as well boss a bunch of 4th grade, snotty nose brats. She also did it for the vacation hours, so she could have time to hone her writing passion and make a novel. Without Arnold in her life though, she lost any inspiration she had to write left. Now there’s apparently some new guidance counselor she had watch out for. “Guidance counselor, what a load of… Arnold!”

May you please list the enneagram numbers that matches the most with each respected MBTI type? For example; is 4, 6. or 9 the strongest correlation to an INFP? I really would like to know which combinations enhances the MBTI types' preexisting functions the most.

Hey Arnold Episode Ideas
Whether the ratings of TJM failed or not is still debatable. That’s not the point of the post though. I decided to give out episodes I would like to see if there ever will be a season 6. They are in no specific order. I just type down whatever comes to mind.
1. Stinky Goes Viral
Somebody found a box of cassette tapes that has all of Stinky’s Yahoo commercials in them. Thinking that these will make them famous on MyFace, they post a compilation of them. Things get out of hand when Stinky finds out and demands the video to be deleted. The damage was already done because someone had it saved and reposted on a different account and now there are multiple remixes of the original video.
Moral of the Episode: Be careful what you post on the internet and learn to roll with your internet fame, no matter how embarrassing it is at first.
2. Little Miss Broken
Helga is forced to work on a project with P.S. 118’s “ever so” perfect girl, Lila. Too embarrassed to work at her new “home” with Lila she asks to work at Lila’s place. When she gets there she finds some interesting, yet depressing box of song lyrics in Lila’s room. She starts to consider maybe they have more in common than she originally thought.
Moral of the Episode: You don’t have to be happy all the time, nobody’s perfect, and everybody has a bad day.
3. Permit to Learn
Harold is finally old enough to get a learner’s permit. After some miracle, he passes the written test. However, his mother is too scared for him to go out on the big, scary road while his father just doesn’t trust Harold not to ruin his car and sky rocket his insurance. Will Harold rebel and do it on his own or will Arnold come to the rescue before it happens? Will Harold actually develop a fear of driving because of his parents?
Moral of the Episode: I don’t know… driving is boring and dangerous? (or is that just my irrational fear of driving talking)
That’s all I have for now. I’m open to see more episode ideas. Just don’t make it about shipping for every episode idea. I have my specific pairs just like everybody else but I try to keep my episode ideas centered on possible problems they would have in their semi-modern age.

Last Wednesday, FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler announced a proposal for new rules that would allow for a “ fast lane” of Internet traffic for content providers who are willing (and able) to pay a fee. [1] The proposal reverses the FCC’s previous commitment to net neutrality and open internet and allows ISP’s like Comcast or Verizon to slow down and censor services that don’t pay the toll.
We have to be totally honest, this situation is seriously grim. But there is still hope. The FCC already knows that the Internet community wants net neutrality, but they think they can put their spin on these new rules and sneak them through. If we can prove them wrong right now with a massive public outcry, we can literally save the Internet once again.
We need to stop the FCC now. Big business groups are already ramping up lobbying efforts with the FCC in swarms since Wednesday’s announcement in support of censoring the open Internet and to ensure this dangerous proposal moves forward. [2]
This is a critical moment. In the last few weeks more than 65,000 people have taken action with us. Can you help us get to 80,000 by the end of the day today?

This is the best D&D
This is my version of Disney’s Persephone I made a while ago.Her design was inspired to be a combination of https://quantum-witch.deviantart.com/ ‘s Persephone as well as Disney’s background Persephone.
Although, I’m in the minority that prefers to stir away from the incest as much as possible.So in the footsteps of Disney, I gave her a different backstory. It’s similar to Triptolemus but she was a sickly, orphan, baby that was left for dead and the burning was successful. It was Hestia’s fire however instead of a plain ritual fire. So that explains the choice of colors but the freckles represent the pollen that fell onto her when Demeter nursed her.
It’s not entirely kid-friendly, but it’s a nice parallel to Hercules god-to-sort-of-mortal. At least it’s a better backstory than just Zeus doing his non-wife sister.
@suzie-guru These are good drawings and I get your thought process while making these. It also makes sense if you look at the “Once Upon a Time” series where Hades actually had a thing for Zalina (AKA the wicked witch of the west).
All that said, I’m sorry to say I’m not a fan of the color palette (especially when she is in the pink chiton). I know you did this to have her look more like Demeter and that’s fine. It’s just my opinion and these are still good drawings.
I can agree that the Persephone in the movie does not look like somebody Hades would be smitten with and vice versa. She looks too frilly, dolled up, and not like the hippie/emo I would expect Persephone to be.

I had forgotten how much I loved my own take on Persephone for Disney’s Hercules! I made her coloring similar to their design for Demeter, since mythology states that they looked so similar they were almost duplicates. Again, I have NOTHING against Disney’s original take on Persephone:
I just wanted to do my own thing and, for the interest of shipping, I really can’t see this version making a serious go of it with Hades. Different strokes for different folks, you do you, as always.
So, there you have it! I imagine Persephone to be the cooler one between her and her hot-headed hubby, but plenty spirited and full of sass and snark to hold her own with Hades. Yes, that’s a pomegranate she’s holding =)

Help Former Archie Artists!
Yesterday’s confirmation of the official Sonic comics being cancelled was a heavy blow to a lot of us. Over 20 years’ worth of storytelling and mythology unique in the Sonic franchise has disappeared with little more than a quiet murmur. Our project isn’t going anywhere, and despite our rocky release schedule I hope we can help somewhat fill the void left in many a fan’s hearts. However, we fans are not the only victims here. While we’ve been desperately waiting for some sort of news regarding the comic’s fate these last six months, the creative team in charge of the comic has been struggling to make ends meet without their main source of income. The cancellation was as abrupt to them as it was to us, probably even more so because we at least had half a year to let the idea sink in. For many years they’ve delivered us quality writing and artwork that made Archie Sonic as enjoyable as it was, and now it’s our time to return the favor. Below you can see the links to several of the Archie team’s Patreon pages (the ones I could find at least, please let us know if we missed any). Make a pledge if you can, or at least help spread the word. No matter how little of an amount you can donate, every bit will help them. The creation of Archie Sonic Online in the first place is proof of what fans are capable of when they band together under a common goal. Now, we need to do the same thing for the sake of the Archie team and their families. What would you tell your younger self: Stop daydreaming and actually do something with your creative, cartoon-loving, mind.
If you could change one thing about the world around you, what would it be?: I want people to stop using profanity as a way to hide they have nothing intelligent to say. I hate it when I see a person who may actually make a good point but completely ruins by spewing out needless profanity making me not want to like it because I want my page to be appropriate for at least some ages instead of just over 18.
Make music or listen to music: Listen to music. I don’t know my “scales and arpeggios” (reference to the adorable Aristocats movie)
Shakespeare’s comedies or tragedies: I don’t read much Shakespeare but I assume I would prefer comedy over tragedy.

Going to a concert or a huge party: They both sound horrible to me! I prefer not to be surrounded by many screaming/drunk people, thank you. Although, if it was a Christian concert I might consider even then I still wouldn’t like being around loud music with a bunch of crowded people.
Favorite animal: I’m not sure I like a lot of animals when they are in pictures. I’m not much of an animal lover when I have to live with them. I do like cats and fluffy rodents like bunnies and alike.
Favorite TV show: I watched a lot of tv when I was younger so I can’t say. At the moment I am waiting to see the next of Steven Universe and I plan to see the new episode of SVTFOE. I’m also eagerly waiting for the next of MLP:FIM.
Favorite Disney movie: I like a lot of them I can’t really say. I can probably list some but my opinion may change in the future. It’s also in no specific order.

If They Ever Made a Moana Short:
I would like it to be about Maui and Moana saving the world from the vengeful goddess of death and we find out that she’s actually Maui’s ex-girlfriend, Rohe. Moana becomes angry with Maui for being the one who indirectly created death just because his ex-girlfriend called his original face ugly and didn’t tell her until the last minute.

I’m so sorry for not having drawn this nor responding to you properly. I don’t know when or if I’ll do it. I kept this ask in storage in hopes that I’d finally motivate myself do draw this and now it’s been a good few months and you probably forgot all about it and- ugh. Sorry. Maybe one day. Idk.
I choose to say gif and here’s my reasoning. The j sounding “gif” reminds me of the peanut butter while the g sounding “gif” reminds me of the word gift. When I receive a gif is as if the person is giving me a present making a comment/post better (or worse depending on the gif.). Where as if I give somebody a jiff that is a allergic nuts that would be just like a punch in the face. Where as everybody can enjoy gifts (or at least for a moment until they realize it was a cheap present with no thought put into it).
That’s just one petty reason however and not actually anything logical to back it up. I just prefer giving people gifts over jiffs.

@mambocat No,no! It has nothing to do with you. I was referring to that my comments don’t always get replied to. Mostly because I don’t always bring up anything worth adding onto for various reasons or I just reblogged at a bad time and I get missed accidentally.
You did nothing wrong, I just mostly said that out of pessimism. I’m a little histrionic (that’s a word you don’t read every day).
Anyway, to get back on topic. Mario Odyssey looks nice but reminiscent of Sonic Adventure and only makes it worse when Mario rolls like Sonic now. Here’s to hoping Project 2017 is awesome.
So I need to just take a moment to poop on everyone’s party…I just watched the trailer for “Super Mario Odyssey,” and while it does indeed look very interesting, I can’t help but feel salty over the double standard being utilized here.
So the trailer starts with what appears to be New York or some other large REAL WORLD city, with actual humans - as in realistic ones - walking around minding their own business, and then SUDDENLY here comes Mario with his signature whoo hoo to turn everything into fodder for his cartoon physics.
Now that in and of itself is not a bad thing, no problem with the premise itself. My issue is…fairly simple to understand and may even come off as petty but I’ll risk it regardless.
If everyone is excited about Mario being in the real world…
WHY IN GOD’S NAME WAS IT CONSIDERED A HORRIBLE IDEA FOR SONIC AND STILL IS TO THIS DAY?!
As soon as Mario does it, all that talk about “oh Sonic is a cartoon hedgehog and he doesn’t belong in a realistic universe” goes out the window. You can’t praise Mario for doing it and then say Sonic doesn’t belong when they’re both video game characters who are clearly “out of place” in the world they’re in.
The only difference I can foresee happening here is that Mario won’t have much of a “story” as usual despite the name “odyssey” and Mario of course won’t talk.
And if that does turn out to be the key difference, then Sonic being in the real world was never the problem as so many people claim. The issue was the story itself. How dare someone take a silent protagonist and try to give him a personality?
SEGA tried everything to “backpedal” from the hyper realistic art style, making the humans more cartoony as opposed to actually looking like real life humans. But it didn’t matter, Sonic was still in the “real” world and thus it was bad.
Only when humans (sans Eggman) were cut out altogether were so-called fans happy with the world Sonic lived in again. Where all the humans? Who cares, Sonic shouldn’t be with humans anyway.
But apparently this is okay, because it’s Mario instead of Sonic. Real humans? Yeah that’s okay! It’s about time Mario ventured past the Mushroom Kingdom a little bit!
I call BS, hard.
Since Mario did what he did, then I don’t wanna hear one godforsaken complaint from ANYONE if Project 2017 decides to go back to using human background characters.
I’ve gotten into debates with gamer friends of mine who say that Sonic in the real world (Earth) actively angers them. I should ask them how they feel about Mario and see if they expose their own hypocrisy.
I’m sorry if this angers anyone who thinks I’m complaining too early, but again, it’s not what Mario did that bothers me, it’s that people will inevitably complain if/when Sonic decides to do the EXACT SAME THING while Mario gets praise for it.
That’s why I say I don’t wanna see anyone get angry with Sonic in the real world…but we all know they will. Because it’s Sonic.
Poor guy, he’s doomed to be hated for all of eternity.
