I miss them, the humans.
We used to talk every day, about my journeys and the things I found during them. My pictures and explorations, everything that I did was somehow special to them.
They called me brave, and strong, saying that I was able to do much more than they ever thought possible of me, but I never believed a word of it.
“I’m only doing my job.” I told them, “Nothing more, nothing less.”
Time went on, and I began to wear down. The humans messages began to change. They started speaking of “love” and “death.”
It wasn’t long before I understood what they meant, they were worried about me. I was touched, but nevertheless I kept moving forward. I had a job to do.
I finally was forced to stop by the wear and tear of time, and was able to send one last message to the humans, my creators and friends.
“My battery is low and it’s getting dark.”
So now I sit here in this sea of red dust, alone and broken. But I am not afraid.
Because I know the humans love me, and I know they’ll come to say hello again.
I live in a part of the world when I hear a loud bang, I assume it’s fireworks and not a gunshot; I don’t appreciate this enough.
This!!!
This makes me so happy.
Holy Malphas' balls! Isn't this where you wash up on Enderal's shores?
So, what constitutes this exquisite food in which you are indulging? Is it burgers? Salads? Fruit? Mashed who-knows-what that just tastes divine?
So frustrating! It doesn't matter what your political leanings are, a free and open internet is important to all of us.
We just need one more vote to overrule the repeal of Net Neutrality
Please contact your Senators and Representatives urging them to vote for the CRA (Congressional Review Act)
List of Senators onboard for protecting Net Neutrality:
The Senators in red are the ones who are currently not voting so convince them to vote for the CRA: https://www.battleforthenet.com/scoreboard/
Text “RESIST” to 50409 to send an email to your Senators/Representatives! Tell them to vote for the CRA and give them details to persuade them on why Net Neutrality is so important and why it should be preserved. You can also call at 202-224-3121.
Script for phone calls:
Now get to it!! We only have until April 23rd to keep our Internet freedom otherwise.
Reblog every day. Act. ACT!
Yesterday afternoon the House subcommittee that provides Congressional oversight for the FCC held an important hearing about the agency’s current plans, including current Chairman (and former Verizon lawyer) Ajit Pai’s move to gut Title II net neutrality protections that prevent ISPs from controlling what we do online with throttling, censorship, and extra fees.
With Capitol Hill’s attention now on the FCC, and Pai’s final plan to gut net neutrality protections expected in the coming weeks, it’s extra important that Congress gets flooded with phone calls from Internet users telling them to stand up and defend the open Internet.
We’re also hearing there are key members of Congress considering whether to step in and force Pai to slow down. This means best chance to stop the FCC from breaking the fundamental principle that makes the Internet awesome is to pound Congress with phone calls right now.
You can call your reps easily with just one click here: battleforthenet.com
You’ll see a script on your screen, or you can say something like this:
“I support Title Two net neutrality rules and I urge you to oppose the FCC’s plan to repeal them. Specifically, I’d like you to contact the FCC Chairman and demand he abandon his current plan.”
You can also just call this number directly and enter your zipcode to get connected to your legislators: 202-930-8550.
If you run a website, blog, tumblr, or forum, help spread the word by putting up a sticky post, or use one of these widgets, ads, or banners: https://www.battleforthenet.com/#join
Ajit Pai is expected to circulate the text of his rule killing net neutrality on November 22, the day before Thanksgiving. Once that happens, it will move to a vote at the FCC’s open meeting in December, and it will become much much harder to stop him.
It’s clear that the FCC remains set on killing net neutrality. But Congress can stop the FCC from gutting the rules that keep the web open, affordable, and awesome.

Prince Mith presents: “The Poet In Me”

Isabella Diamonde, an ordinary country girl with seafoam orbs and honey-colored tresses, knows she’s taking a risk when she applies as a housemaid in the Black Estate. After all, an air of dark mystery surrounds its Count, the chisel-jawed and arrogant Arthorious Black, who is famed for his provocative iconoclastic poems and happens to be mesmerizingly handsome. But what choice does Isabella have? After all, her father, who always saw her as a burden, is terribly ill and can’t afford treatment.
Before Isabella knows it, she is caught in a downward spiral of sinister secrets and devouring passion, where desires pool darkly, salacious confessions are whispered and ejaculated, and inner deities dance to scandalous rhythms unheard of before.
And there’s bondage too!

Following last week’s poll, I decided to exchange the weekly bonus poems for one or two pages of “The Poet in Me,” a satire romance novel where I’ll try to fulfill every romance cliche, break every writing rule, and use every flowery adjective and metaphor to have ever been seen on a page. A little respite beside the serious writing for “Dreams of the Dying.”
Starting next week, I’ll release a new page on my Patreon each Tuesday for Patrons and probably make it public here on Tumblr a week later.
Please reblog if you think Isabella Diamonde’s and Arthorious Black’s story is worth being told! :)
Welcome to the void, Nicolas!
Hi folks,
I’m Nic, and new to the writing community here on Tumblr - Writeblr is, I believe, the correct term. I’m a game writer by profession and the few people who know me do so because of “Enderal,” a Skyrim Total Conversion which I wrote the story for and directed. Most recently, I’ve launched a web novel called “Dreams of the Dying” that centers around Jespar Dal’Varek, one of the game’s protagonists. I update it weekly on my Patreon (www.patreon.com/niseam) and my new WattPad (www.wattpad.com/user/Niseam).
I’m mainly here to connect to other people and follow some artists I’ve been following anonymously for a while now (a huge, heartfelt thanks to the Vyn/Enderal/Jespar-bloggers out there, I’ve been stalking you for years). I won’t lie, I’m pretty new to all this and am still trying to find my way around, so I appreciate any help. I’m also looking forward to sharing opinions about the craft with fellow writers.
What do I write? Most of my stuff deals with societal, philosophical or psychological topics. All my published works so far could be classified as fantasy, though I lean towards psychological horror and mystery. I believe that good characters are king and value authenticity above all else. To quote my (somewhat dramatic) Patreon intro:
“I love stories that entertain, stories that are genuine, and stories that have an impact. While each of these aspects makes a story enjoyable to me, it’s the stories that accomplish all three I remember the most. That’s what I want my stories to do: Draw you in, make you laugh, crawl under your skin, shake you up, and leave you thinking.”
That’s a lot for a first post, so I’ll leave it at that. Thanks for reading! :)
