These are some pencils I designed within the past few months, with a pencil case included.
I decided that the idea was that they would use flocking (so that certain parts of the pencils would be fuzzy). The overall theme, of course, is creepy stuff.
Ok, so I managed to finish the illustration components for the cover of the webcomic I wanted to get to, and do some of the logo revision work on the side.
Additionally, I think I have an additional reason to continue streaming on a weekly basis—namely, because I can make 15-minute silly fan art like this with the power of peer suggestion.
(BTW, the Spiders Rohan badge is transparent, for all of your transparency needs.)
I have 50 followers now! I’m planning on doing a Twitch stream around 6:30PM EST or so in order to personally celebrate. (And I will uncharacteristically draw fan art chibis. Probably.)
I’ve decided to force myself to open up Photoshop again by taking a bunch of photos in unrealistic positions and make some glitch art out of it.
Now I should probably do actual work instead of being a dork with my own selfies.
I’m semi-proud of the fact that I did some 3D modeling recently.
I’m still not the best texturer in the world (even though 2D digital painting is something I’m super familiar with), but it’s something!
I’m just happy that I won’t have to do many streetlamps ever again...because I can just use my own model as a reference!
My style of procrastinating—work on other things that aren’t immediately productive, but are productive for things later on down the road that I enjoy.
That said, I’m still a sad sap who’s trying to make black and brown work. (But oh boy, can I tell you how much I like dark reds combined with black?)
While fretting over what the bloody hell I’m doing for a freelance client I have on hand (because it’s teetering into Clients from Hell territory), I decided to go ahead and make this thing after working on a few tweaks to Truffle’s Instagram photos (because glowy eyes are not cool.)
I’ve been obsessed with Somebody That I Used To Know remixes. Particularly, I’ve been hooked on this 80s remix and the Tiesto remix.
I decided to go ahead and make a retro typgraphic thing for myself as a result.
Trying to explain a particular nitpick I have with some typographic designs lead me to make this to illustrate what I’m talking about instead of trying to explain it in words.
Specifically, I really dislike it when people break up words like “Macchiato” into illegible crap that makes you pause for a bit, and then you’re stuck there for twice as long, trying to read what the fuck the word is. (Also, legit, I actually don’t like the Supercell logo that much, and it’s a perfect example of what I’m talking about.)
I may try to experiment with a similar square grid later on, but something more legible--because I do like how effective the economy of space is in things like this, I just hate it when it’s illegible as fuck, and I wouldn’t have made this if it weren’t for illustrative purposes.
I am pretty happy with the color scheme, though.
So, I got hit with a clopening the first day at my new job, and I feel sick from sleep deprivation.
I'm considering sleeping and moving the stream to tomorrow afternoon after running a few errands that matter a whole lot to me.
My previous Web design is actually alive now. I'm pretty happy about that. #webdesign #uxdesign #AdobeMuse #officespace #stapler
I want to make a New Year's resolution to stream art stuff every Thursday afternoon.
I wanted to get to it today, but I was overloaded with doctor's stuff
Greetings and salutations! I'm a graphic designer/illustrator, and this is my Tumblr. Feel free to check my about page for more info about me. Also, I only post my own things here—almost all reblogs will go to @dandyreblogs. Check that out if you're into aesthetics and other curious things.
