"Darling, what troubles you?" he murmured, his voice low and soothing. Tears threatened to spill from your eyes as you recounted the horrors of your dream. Alastor listened attentively, his crimson eyes filled with concern. Without a word, he pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead, his touch a comforting balm against your fears. "Fear not, my dear," he whispered, his voice like a velvet caress. "I am here, and I shall protect you from any darkness that dares to haunt your dreams." You buried your face in his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat beneath your fingertips. In his arms, you found solace and safety, the nightmare already fading into the distant recesses of your mind. Wrapped in each other's warmth, you drifted back to sleep, knowing that as long as Alastor was by your side, no nightmare could ever truly harm you.
