"Fear not, my dear," he whispered, his voice like a velvet caress. "I am here, and I shall protect you from any darkness that dares to haunt your dreams." You buried your face in his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat beneath your fingertips. In his arms, you found solace and safety, the nightmare already fading into the distant recesses of your mind. Wrapped in each other's warmth, you drifted back to sleep, knowing that as long as Alastor was by your side, no nightmare could ever truly harm you.
