Motivation is overrated. What you need is discipline.
Discipline doesn't require motivation, happiness, nice weather, cute hair, the right clothes, the latest equipment, that one inspirational video that will change it all. Discipline only requires you.
Discipline requires you in pieces, too: bits of you, bare minimums, daily littles, step by steps. Motivation is always calling up big moves, 3 A.M. transformations, Monday makeovers, bonfires that quickly sizzle; but discipline keeps you warm through the thickest winter.
Discipline only wants you in return. It's always you, and only you, over and over.
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
{بدائع التفسير ٨٨/٢}
You’ve grown into someone who would have protected you as a child. And that is the most powerful move you made.

نساء فاضلات على مدى قرون ، كان هنالك قصص ولكن ليست في مجتمع المؤمنات الصادقات
How was your experience with love? The best thing is not to try it and keep the heart pure until the first person to enter it is the husband. This is how virtuous women lived for centuries. There were stories, but not in the community of true believers.
:قال الإمام ابن الجوزي رحمه الله تعالى
متى رأيت تكديرًا في حال فاذكر نعمة ما شُكرتْ أو زلة قد فُعلتْ
[صيد الخاطر، صـ٤٩]
Al-Imām Ibnul-Jawzī, raḥimahullāh said:
“Whenever you see [yourself in] a difficult situation then remember a blessing that was not shown gratitude for or a mistake that was made.”
[Ṣaydul-Khāṭir, pg.49]
Al Ḥasan Al Baṣri (رحمه الله) said,
يا ابن آدم! كيف يرق قلبك وإنما همتك في آخر السورة
O son of Adam, how can your heart be softened when your only concern is reaching the end of your surah?
