i made the original supercontinent for my planet, as well as the subsequent split continents, and then the present supercontinent so i “could get the mountain ranges and volcano types correct” for my fictional map

my marauders hot takes:

- fav romantic ships are prongsfoot, jily, jilypad, quillkiller, and marylene

- i dont think james would hate sirius after the prank

- remus is the last person to be a casanova (that was james, sirius, and mary)

- i looove the characterization of the marauders as the best friendship quad ever but we forget it was described in the books as “james + sirius… and their two side kicks” (obv they still became animagi for remus so he was very close to them, but sirius and james were always the main duo)

- i dont believe in “young peter was a different person,” he was always a coward that gravitated towards the most powerful person (in hogwarts that was james/sirius’ popularity, in the war that was voldemort)

- remus was not the smartest marauder (in their year the smartest students were sirius, james, and lily)

Jilypad happens because the three of them are out fighting in the war and a big explosion happens and they get separated and are all so afraid they’ve lost eachother that when they finally all get home to realise the others are there too James and lilys first instincts are to kiss sirius and vice versa. Then they all step back like oopsie wtf we just kissed our best friend…

And then they fuck nasty style about it all through the night and half of the next morning, then they go to have bunch in Jilys kitchen and can’t stop touching eachother whilst they all cook and they feed eachother then abandon their meal halfway through to fuck nasty again.

Then a week or so later Lily finds out she’s pregnant and they Freak Out because her and James haven’t been fucking as much lately with all the heavy moods they’ve been in from the war going on, so they immediately think she’s pregnant from That Night and they know any ejactjaltiown that happened near Lilys vag was done by Sirius and Sirius only and so they’re like Omg Sirius knocked Lily up!

Lilys stressed because her husbands best friend knocked her up, Sirius is terrified because he does Not want to pass on his terrible family line and was sure he was going to end it and doesn’t know if he’s ready to be a dad yet. James is over the moon excited because his best friend just knocked up his wife and they’re all gonna be a family!!! And their baby is gonna look like the girl he’s in love with And the boy he’s in love with and he’s so happy about it.

And then they find out it was actually James that knocked her up and then they’re all kinda…. Sad. Because they had plans starting, for the three of them to raise this kid together, one big happy family, two dads and one amazing mum.

But they decide to do it anyway. James and Lily beg Sirius to move in with them and be their boyfriend, and Sirius becomes godfather to Harry but he’s also Harry’s second dad, which he’s stoked about because he gets to be a dad without passing on his shitty bloodline and if he’s bad at his job he knows James is gonna be a brilliant dad so Harry’s garenteed to turn out fine!

BRO LET THE MARAUDERS CHARACTERS BE UGLY

I'm so serious about this plsss they cannot all possibly be conventionally attractive

Genuinely though most fanart of the marauders characters is like INSANELY different from what they look like in canon,, which in a lot of cases is fine like I think making the marauders cast more diverse is a lot more fun and less boring and uh yes I'm a fan but this means more than making them different races/ethnicities this means making them different body types and different facial features

Because even though we pride ourselves on making the fandom super diverse and shit we still make all the characters adhere to like eurocentric beauty standards, and the only characters that don't look like fucking super models are characters the fandom generally dislikes.

a lot of times fanart is the same exact button nose, more like white facial features and the only difference is that some characters are darker than others and MAYBE they'll have different hair textures.

Just because a character isn't attractive to you doesn't mean they're suddenly a bad character or objectively unattractive.

plssss can we start diversifying the marauders cast (also I'm not gonna like beat people up if they keep drawing all the characters the same like you choose how you engage in fandom I'm just personally tired of this)
