13x04: where am I? What is this place?

Immediately after 15x18: I know this place. I made my choice. I saved Dean.

Cas promised he wouldn’t look back, but he tried to imagine Dean behind him. Reaching a hand to his shoulder, Cas placed a mark like he did to Dean. It would remind him of why he came. Maybe it would feel like Dean was here with him in this place, even in the smallest way.

Castiel came into Dean’s life in a downpour of electric light, and he left drowning in darkness

Amidst the fluttering of wings, A broken angel sits and sings, Of freedom lost and skies above, Of soaring high and unbound love.

His wings now gone, turned to ash, No longer can he soar and dash, With pigeon friends and rooftop sky, Castiel relearns to live and fly.

A companion piece to this Sammy here. I generally find Dean Winchester easier to draw than Sam, but I lost a stupid amount of time on details in this one. Hope you guys enjoy it anyway!
