My father has passed away from Covid-19 yesterday morning. As much as I want time to grieve him; me, my mother, and little brother are in urgent need of money. We had been funded by his SSA checks each month, & now have to contact SS of his death.
Because of this, we will have almost no funding until we are approved for Survivors Benefits. I am currently working but because my father died from Covid, I must remain in quarantine until I can continue. We urgently need to pay $1000 in rent & utilities by August 5th.
Luckily, once I return to work I can handle paying for the other misc. bills. Until then, we need funding however we can.

My friend Johj Onlang (@onlang) has been really suffering from his squamous cell carcinoma, a type of cancer that has made him unable to use his legs, and soon, he fears he’ll lose them all together. The surgery he needs keeps being put off both because of money and because of hospitals flooded with COVID-19 patients. He’s losing hope.
He just wants to be able to live, and to be able to get treatment. And we can help him with that!! If you can share this post, or have a couple spare bucks, it means the WORLD. He’s trying to save up approx $7500 to get his surgery!

Israel has launched violent attacks against the people of Gaza once again, with complete disregard for the supposed ceasefire they agreed to. The death counts keep rising and it's no secret that Israel not only kills Palestinian children, but specifically targets them. My friend Sahar @reallyoptimisticface was separated from her children before the current aggression started, and they have been living in Gaza without their parents for almost two years. She knows that they live in danger, and we both worry for them daily. The area they're currently in is an extremely dangerous zone and the lack of connection makes communication hard. Her older daughter Diana has been caring for her younger siblings, but she's suffered burns and wounds from being forced to cook over open flames.
As more news comes out and we see the extent of the Israeli violence, Sahar worries her children may be next. Please stand by her and support her so she can see her children again, bring them to safety, and be together as a family. No child should have to live through this. Your donations can give them some hope.

my friends yousef and mona are trying to survive a very dangerous situation... it's hard to focus on fundraising when you are worried more about surviving bombings. they do still need funds. it is getting harder and harder to afford basic needs for both themselves and their baby alaa. i haven't heard any good news about mona's lungs (they were damaged in a previous bombing), so i assume they're as bad as ever. she's told me it's very painful. she can't rest because she spends her nights coughing violently instead. if you can help them at all, here is the link to their fundraiser. since they are fundraising in swedish krona, smaller donations are accepted. anything will help at least a little, but please be aware 10 kr is 94 cents in usd. if you can't donate, please share the post. you have a helpful role.
