when in doubt, write it out
YES. just yes.
just realized how el progressively becomes more and more feminine as the seasons progress. s1 she's literally mistaken several times for a boy. s2 her style and especially her hair is very androgynous (I LOVED her look in the last few eps with the slicked back hair and eyeshadow). s3 she's less so but still not dressing particularly feminine; gender-neutral button down shirts, jeans, dark colours. then in s4 she has her long hair, wears a dress (while pretending for mike might I add), and in the final scenes of vol 2 she's wearing all white and pink. interesting how much it coincides with her and mike growing apart.
