reading batgirl (2000) really is a hate bruce wayne speedrun huh. like i want that man dead.
batgirl (2000) #17
babs: hi cass here is a way for us to keep your identity safe so you can have a life outside of crime fighting <3
bruce: idc.
exactly, like this is exactly the ‘don’t yuck my yum’ shit we learned in kindergarten
you don't need to minimize other people's favorite because you have a favorite: it's okay to love damian, you don't need to shit on tim's character/erase his trauma. you can love tim and not shit on jason's run as robin. you can have cass or duke as a favorite and not diminish the other kids relationship with bruce and each other. and on, and on, and on.
crazy how fanfic authors drop the most beautiful and gorgeous pieces of work ever, leaving you speechless and sobbing at three in the morning as you quietly contemplate the masterpiece you just read
and they don’t get paid for it they just do it because they’re having fun and they want to share their joy with you
like I would literally die for all of you fanfic authors out there reblog to swear your allegiance to fanfic authors
born to be the token sarcastic character in a sitcom, forced to be a real person
i’m weirdly proud of Cyborg, like he started out as a side character created for a comic team and now??? he’s in DC intro for their movies???? Not even NIGHTWING has that and he’s like THE character people think of when it comes to teen superheroes branching out on their own, like go him!!! He’s recognizable on his own now!!! I feel like a proud parent
johnny storm 🤝 calling peter parker ugly whenever possible (even though he doesn’t even know what he looks like)
in my ideal world there was a second yj98 spinoff comic that ran in 2003 called "saint elias" that is gotham academy-esque and followed the adventures of newly-humanified greta and recently-retired anita as they joined saint elias school for girls alongside cissie and traya
I am definitely going to be posting more about this >:) potentially even with a fic series if I can get my shit together heart emoji
(reblogs are much loved and help other people see my art!)
me, a DC fanblog, daily: man i hate DC comics
I wonder what drove Cassandra “death wish” Cain to keep herself alive for the missing ten years she was homeless?
This single panel absolutely sent me the first time I saw it.
Tim Drake is an icon lmfao
DC’s obsession with separating Cass from the Batfamily is so frustrating because I have never seen a father daughter duo more father-daughter-y than Bruce and Cass.
despite the cass cain heavy apperence this is both a dc and a marvel blogcass cain just happens to be the coolest person ever(and the charcter that got me into comics)always happy to talk about all things comic related!!!(though I admittedly know more about DC)
