This next chapter is taking longer than I thought because it’s going to be a doozy. I’m at 7300 words and I have lots more that needs to happen. I didn’t expect it to be that long but once I realized what I wanted to accomplish in Noxus, I realized it was going to be more like a short story inside the bigger story. I think you guys will like it though.

With your dad’s family?” “I saw them, of course, but I stayed in the mountains on the northern part of the main island,” she explained. Vi furrowed her brow slightly as Caitlyn shifted, appearing almost uncomfortable as she didn’t elaborate. Her heart reached out to comfort the other girl and a fresh wave of pain flowed through her at the brick wall she was met with instead.

I have a couple of questions if you don't mind answering me.

1: Will I Give You My Rebel Heart be a trilogy?

2: In Low Lays the Devil in Me, will Caitlyn be the central character in this story?

3: Will there be a Cassandra and Tobias subplot (and maybe her relationship with Greyson) after what happened with Grey's attack on the Kiramman mansion?

(a love triangle drama story would be hilarious 😁 it's a suggestion, don't take it seriously)

1. No plans right now for a trilogy but I’m not ruling it out.

2. Caitlyn is the central character in Low Lays the Devil in Me. I don’t have any currents plans to switch to Vi’s perspective but never say never. If I do, it’ll only be for a short time like I did with Cassandra in “Heart Made of Glass.”

3. Haha no love triangle in this series I’m sorry to say (although that would be amusing), but so far we don’t really know what Cassandra has been up to in this fic or how everyone else is doing, to a certain degree. For plot reasons, Caitlyn has to be pretty cut off from everyone so we have to see if everyone can be reunited soon.

I just have some editing to do and a final read through of the next chapter of “Low Lays the Devil in Me” and you guys will have 7500 words of the battle at Stillwater to enjoy! It’s super action packed and it’s the longest sequence of non-stop action I’ve written by a mile! It was fun but hard to write, but I think you guys will enjoy it. It still is in line with the M rating and I don’t get descriptive of gore or anything like that, but buckle up for a lot of violence as the darker side of Caitlyn and Vi will be fully fleshed out. This chapter, more than any of the others, represents the title of this fic very closely.

On a *completely* unrelated note. Anyone have any good writing program recommendations? I have scrivener, but it’s so inaccurate for spelling/grammar that I get really annoyed by it, even if it’s good for planning.

Idk wtf happened but none of my edits in AO3 were changed and I didn’t know until I posted ch 22 of Heart Made of Glass, Mind of Stone. I took the chapter down and will have to wait a few hours before I’m able to fix it. There were some pretty heavy changes made so it was easier to just take it down. Sorry everyone!!! If you managed to read it before even the email update went out, you get a preview, albeit an inaccurate one. lol

“How does this woman continue to outmaneuver us?” Caitlyn demanded furiously. “We are public figures, Caitlyn, and are thus knowable,” Mel stated evenly, “whereas she’s been able to operate from the shadows for years, longer than our alliance has been around.” Caitlyn ground her teeth together, relaxing infinitesimally when Vi put a hand on her thigh. “We’ll figure something out, Cupcake,” Vi assured her as soothingly as she could. Caitlyn took a slow, calming breath and leaned back in her chair, her eyes distant. Vi wanted to ask what she was thinking, but knew this wasn’t the time. “What now?” she posed to the group.

Haha, by making sure that the space between the toilet/shower and door will be exactly 14 feet. The large vanity will be on the other end of the bathroom, which is what makes it so large ;) They will just have to sit outside of the door while the other does their business. haha don't worry, I'm going to make it *that* kind of invasive.
