I'm curious systems, what's the craziest form that's ever happened for you? I just saw a post signed off with "lesbian" and I just imagined a headmate who's source is the general/average oncept of lesbian. I always giggle at concept forms because they're so cool and often unique, people need to give concept forms more attention

Istg dude my partner's incubator has called them SEVEN TIMES today for random bullshit rants and I just wanna talk to my lover I'm so fucking done 😭

I absolutely think this is a great idea! I would like to add misce spaces but since that's such a small subcategory of identity I don't think many people know it. I love this idea so much and would love to join, so I'm spreading this because it needs the few more votes to open the server!

So, I’m thinking of making a discord server for a bunch of different communities, including plurality, and that means ALL types of plurality!
It was also likely include spaces for therians/furries, age regressors and pet regressors, witches and pagans, polytheists and other religions, shifting, neurodivergent and lgbt people, and more!
So, the point of this post is for a poll. I want to know what you guys think!
Reposts are much appreciated, I want to reach a big audience, or as big of one as I can in the week that the poll will be open!
You’re more than welcome to suggest other things you’d want to see included in the server as well and what small/niche communities you’re part of and want an inclusive space for!
This will likely take a while to set up so if I’ll only do this if I get more than 75 votes for yes (i don’t expect this to reach a wide audience).
Anyway, have a good day/night everyone! :D

On my dream last night (Right now as I'm writing this) me and my long distance partner worked in the same roblox-tycoon ahh restaurant. They were urging me to brush my teeth because throughout the dream I scratched my teeth clean but never actually brushed or flossed. They took me to a mirror and my teeth were so horrid that I listened. They then told me it was 6:20am and I needed to get dressed for school (my bus comes around 6:40am and I've dreamed about being late to my bus for the last two weeks) I actually ended up waking up irl due to this. It was not 6:20am, but it was in fact 3:40am, half the hour double the minutes. Wtf. (I'm writing this at 4am)

Hello chat how is your day?
I've just realized after many years of living that players in games with higher stats don't kill you when you're smaller because they have empathy and realize that you're just getting used to said game but instead because you just don't boost their stats because they're bigger.
Please allow me to sulk at this new discovery, I thought the bigger players just had a lot of empathy and made an unspoken truce with small players but it turns out it's just because you don't help them gain much.

As a misce citizen I can confirm I do knead

Nesting, scenting, purring, scruffing... A lot of animalistic behaviours have been attributed to omegaverse characters. But there's one I've never seen used, and that's a shame. Have any of you heard about... Kneading?
Also known as making biscuits.
It's something kittens do with their mums, but older cats often do that with their favourite humans or soft toys and blankets!
It's associated with nest-making and scenting. Famous omegaverse things!
(as well as with heats in queens, but I'm trying to keep the post sfw, so shhhh)
Pups could do that with their parents! Omegas (and other nest-makers) could do that with their nests! And everyone could give friendly little massages to their friends!
(or make them a pizza, but like, as an Omegaverse Instinct™ thing)
So consider: kneading.
Thank you thank you thank you I love the science source I'm sending this to my friend because they wanted info and I'm so happy grrrrraaahhhhhgg!!!

You're in an echo chamber. One that bans anyone who goes against it. They will feed you irrelevant distractions of "sources" that don't address the real topic to keep you complacent, but people who link to anything that contradicts the narrative of the hate subreddit will be banned from it just like I was.
The other day, there was a screenshot of a post I made on that subreddit.
A user asked if this was correct. They were immediately fed a bunch of irrelevant sources that only addressed DID. And they were downvoted for even questioning if there might be anything behind what I said.
The links on the comment don't work. But even if they did, WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT DID.
There is a very manipulative trick being used here to focus specifically on DID when they know that this isn't the claim being made.
Let's start by establishing a few facts. Including the actual claim.
What being plural means: Plurality is an umbrella of phenomena where a single-body experiences multiple self-conscious agents of some kind. These agents may be identified by the system as having origins that are spiritual or psychological. Psychologists use a variety of terms to refer to these agents such as "distinct personality states" or "dissociative parts."
Now, with the basic definition out of the way, let's talk about...
The most explicit in using plural community language is in Transgender Mental Health by Dr. Eric Yarbrough. This book was reviewed and published by the American Psychiatric Association.
Below are some choice excerpts from the book's chapter on Plurality.
This establishes the following:
The phenomenon of plurality is not the same as DID. (Which is why the sources discussing DID being caused by trauma are irrelevant distractions.)
Many plurals are happy being plural and not distressed by their plurality. (Important since "distress or impairment" are a criterion of DID and OSDD in the DSM-5.)
Plurality isn't necessarily caused by trauma.
In the World Health Organization's ICD-11, the term used for dissociative identities is "distinct personality states."
The ICD-11 includes the "boundary with normality where it states that you can experience the presence of "two or more distinct personality states" without a mental disorder.
This is, again, using a term it uses synonymously with dissociative identities. It's essentially using different words to say the same things as the Plurality chapter of Transgender Mental Health.
Do you need more sources?
Is the World Health Organization and a book published by the American Psychiatric Association not enough?
How about this study discussing multiplicity as a continuum of experiences?
The one thing that's been lacking for a while has been neurological studies into non-disordered systems. There is a currently-unpublished neurological study that was conducted into tulpamancy systems by Stanford University. Tulpamancy, for those unaware, is a mostly psychological practice of creating headmate through intentional effort.
The neurologist who led this study discussed the results in an AMA in the r/tulpas subreddit:
Essentially, the brain of tulpamancers showed different activity when a tulpa was controlling a limb versus when the host simply imagined someone moving their limbs.
The subreddit and most anti-endo communities are designed to keep you ignorant. Only their view is permitted. Anyone who contradicts their views, anyone who links to academic source that show the existence of endogenic plurality, is banned!
This is how they operate. It's how they keep you hateful. It's how they control you.
Remember, if there was a single paper out there that contradicted these studies, where even one doctor said you need trauma to be plural, r/systemscringe would have provided that by now.
The reason they only give sources about DID is because they can't find even one single doctor to say you need trauma or a disorder to be plural.
They want you to be ignorant. They want you to not find out what the actual professionals and experts think!
I think it's very interesting when link grips his sword a little tighter during a cut scene now that I've realized something, stick with me for a minute
I imagine in Hyrule's knight code, you shouldn't retaliate with words or anger because it distracts you from your weakness and then the enemy can attack blindspots. This is a little more interesting when you take into account the popular headcanon of Link being nonverbal!
(Skyward Spoilers, post makes sense without this part) Let's take Skyward Sword for example, since ive finished the entire game. The entire time you're just trying to find Zelda to bring her home, to make things normal again. Every time he saw her, every time he could've hugged her, she was taken away from his sight again. I can't imagine the trauma this man went through from this, especially when Zelda explains that she had to keep doing what she was doing and locked herself in the past. I imagine link distressed over not knowing how to tell her father, that no one would ever know when they would see her again. Link knowing he has to pick himself back up just when he thought he could rest to fight a literal god
Now back to the point of the post, you'll often see during cutscenes with antagonists ranting that they'll make this big "I've got you now" moment, and then you'll see Link's brow furrow and he grips his sword a little tighter, getting into a fight stance and making sure his sword is angled properly.
I imagine Link, who finally saw his best friend (and potentially lover) get taken again, or some sort of big barrier right when he thought it was over.
He feels so much anger and hatred, but he knows he can't lash out. Whether from not being able to speak or showing vulnerability is up to interpretation. He knows he can't yell out, he can't scream and cry like his body needs to. He has to sit there, as stone faced and quiet as possible.
In those few moments, all he does with his body is tilt his sword and look angry, but he's definitely wanting to break under such stressful things, he's barely a legal adult if even in most games, some games he's an actual kid!
He wants to break, but he just moves his hand, stays in place. Because what's a hero if not strong? What's strong if not contained?
Link wants to break, but he can't. This is his burden to bear.
(This came from a dream we had where we could feel Link's internal feelings in the dream, as well as a mixture of our own projection)
-Aiden (and Link on the sidelines)
Oh no I just dropped my atomic bomb in your vicinity.. oopsies!!1!!!1!!!one1!!
