A rough(ish) animation for @plottwiststudios of their character Xjena. Head over to their page for news of their game, Women of Xol! I had fun with this. I have the urge to give her an umbrella.
Watching our chickens scritch-scratch inspired me to animate a raptor. But since I like to suffer, it ended up being a bit longer.
I forgot how time-consuming animating can be, and this is far from done, really. Still, it was nice to be animating traditionally again. Another bout of inspiration (insanity) and I may apply skin pattern and feathers someday.ðŸ˜
I noticed my nephew liked to pretend he was excavating fossils (crayons and coins) from my play-sand so I baked some clay bones for him to discover hee hee. It was surprisingly fun to do but I apologize to paleontologists everywhere for the... freedoms I took hehe. Also, I may or may not bury a unicorn fossil in our backyard. >_>
Edit: Uh-oh. I think he liked it too much. He actually thinks that, somehow, a real fossil made it into my room. hehe.
There have been some requests for the octopus umbrella as a print. Prim and proper ladies from the future, no doubt. As I am a gentleman octopus, I have made this possible.
I can personally send away a print measuring 10 x 8 inches, with a white border filling up the 11 x 8.5 paper. It will be on glossy premium photo paper by Kodak, so it's good stuff. (see images)

$15.00 (print only)
$30.00 (framed and matted. I only have 3 frames available though)

Color treat of the previous post.
This particular type of infected starts disintegrating and coalesces into a slime pool after its cycle. Kind of like the inky cap mushrooms. They get bloated though and are apt to explode when punctured.Â
Maybe there will be a half dripping version that walks. That'd be great to see I think.
One of the guy's interchangeable drill bit hands were taken off since it looked like forearm bones. I still think it was cool that he chopped off his own hand for fear of infection.
08 - Just a foot.
Skeleton based on an emu, but I just gave it different type of scales.
Did you know that scientists have forced a chicken to grow feathers instead of scales on its feet by altering one gene?
We're just a bunch of scripts, switches, and sliders.
4th assignment for the zBrush class. Kudos to the oldies out there who know which 80s arcade game inspired this! Still lots of work/improvements to be done, but I had lots of fun making this one. I'm really loving zBrush... and there's still so much to learn. \( ° A °)/ For the next assignment, I think I'll just add more characters to the narrative, and slowly build on the story. Spoiler: Used to play this game called TwinBee in the arcades back in the late 80s, (6th grade?) and I remember always doodling them in class (specifically Ms. Javarta's science class). It was a really cool and simple game but with lots of personality. I liked that when your ship got damaged, he would lose his limbs. You'd then have to wait for a repair bot to give you new ones. Really great attention to detail and nuances that defined the better games back then. #twinbee #konami #zbrush
Just having fun making concept sketches for the world of The Last of Us.
A take on Anby doing what she loves to do best: borjor. (While cosplaying as Miyabi) She's still my favorite.
