Birding Adventures

Today I went birding. It was freezing, but it was worth it. Here's a list of what I saw, I'll post pictures soon. Charadrius vociferus - Killdeer

I love this killdeer so much.

Look at those bright yellow eyebrows, I love them.

And I thought to myself, "Do I really need to get up and disturb him, just to do laundry? No, I don't."

Red-Bellied Woodpecker, Carolina Chickadee, and a Tufted Titmouse.

We had a lot of birds in our area on the Christmas Bird Count.

Once this chickadee noticed me, it stood up much straighter. It’s so adorable.

Tyrannus forficatus - Scissor-tailed Flycatcher

Scissor-tailed Flycatchers are so amazing, I’ve never seen them before my trip to Oklahoma. They were everywhere.
