Since I first started star wars I've been DIGGING for a bisexual Han Solo flag-thingy and have never found anything c l o se.. SO I MADE ONE- hes been a big comfort comfort character for me and I project my bisexual stress onto him😳

I cant stop laughing, the first time I watched ROTS was when I was sad and on my period. This was four days ago, cried a shit ton- am still sad. Is it my comfort movie tho? Maybe.

Word of advice:

Don’t watch ROTS while you’re sad and on your period. It’s not a good combination

I think ppl need to stop dismissing films like “crazy rich asians” and “to all the boys I loved before” as “cool for representation but just rom com fluff.”

Because like damn guys, sometimes I just don’t wanna deal with super deep narratives about identity and misogyny. Sometimes I just can’t handle the secondary trauma of movies like the joy luck club and maos last dancer. Sometimes I just need to escape into a happy place of light humor and hot people. And sometimes I want that happy place to show ppl who look like me.

Don’t knock escapism representation y’all.
