SAY BYE BYE to the old you, you are no longer the things you call yourself. youβre not ugly, stupid, lazy etc. you will no longer look up at that mirror and tear your beautiful self apart, thatβs all in the past.
weβre going to stop those habits completely they do nothing but bring us back and withhold us from our true power, we are so much more than the hurtful words we call ourselves :)
optional, but you can write down all the bad habits you want to get rid of, and make a promise to yourself that you will put an end to those self-destructive habits.
β§ β again you do not have to, some habits are a difficult process. you can make a promise to yourself that you wonβt let those habits bring you down and you will continue thriving no matter what
SAY IT HERE RIGHT NOW:

AND AGAINβ¦

ππ. ππππ πππππππ :
self concept is the foundation of everything. its how you view yourself and how you view friendships, relationships, life..etcetera!
changing your self concept doesnβt have to be challenging and difficult it is so easy and simple
hereβs an example
if you think that you are unlucky, ugly, stupid and that no one will ever love you those thoughts will reflect in your 3D. you will find yourself in circumstances because of your thoughts.
you can change all of that in a millisecond by deciding that you have the best self concept in the world, you are more kinder to yourself and start practicing being kind to yourself
instead of tearing yourself apart you start telling yourself βi am going to be kind to myself today, i find that my features perfectly suit my faceβ
if you want to be beautiful you have to change your inner thoughts. it all starts with mindset first, never the other way around.

πππ. ππ-πππππ ππππ πππππ :
okay so youβve done your detox, youβve stopped entertaining those habits and youβve finally recognised your worth and got your self concept back on trackβ¦its time to rewrite your story.
so who do you want to be? donβt be afraid and i actually recommend that you go extra as much as you can. want a totally new face? THATS TOTALLY EASY. want to have tiny ass waist? THAT IS SOO EASY TO MANIFEST. want the best pinterest summer ever? THATS SO ATTAINABLE!
write down or take a mental note of your goals <3 tick them off as you go!
ππ. ππππππ πππ πππ πππ ππππππππ πππ :
okay so this is my favourite part, you are going to APPLY everything you know about the law, everything you know about how to create your dream life and JUST DO IT. youβre going to take that leap of faith and watch the results blossom right in front of your face, youβre going to be so proud of yourself this summer for persisting and seeing yourself become an unrecognisable queen.
so on that mental or physical note youβve created youβre going to become that person..EVERYDAY! youβre going to think and feel and embody that person that you want to be. youβre going to compliment yourself in the mirror, youβre going to think beautiful thoughts, youβre going to get lost in conversations with yourself about how amazing you are. youβre going to dance and twirl in your beautiful summer dresses about how you have the best self concept and the best body..best EVERYTHING!
if i wanted to be a top A student who can balance a social life and studying amazingly i would have thoughts like..
βlook how amazing i can balance a social lifeβ
βwhy am i so amazing at everything i do?? its crazy how i have the most amazing friends and still have time to study and achieve my goalsβ
get rid of self-destructive habits
change your self concept
rewrite your life! who do you want to be?
BECOME THAT PERSON
canβt wait to see all your glowups, love you..MWAH!
a procrastinator who wants to: get good grades, read books, have a proper sleep schedule, complete stuff on her watch lists, have fun occasionally with her friends, and still wants her down time. a fucking vicious loop for an eternity.

β¨ how to deal with failure: a brief guide for the completely done and utterly fed up student β¨
first of all, recognise - and i donβt mean just read, internalise it - that failing is okay. youβre not dumb, youβre not unworthy of taking the class, you mightβve not even necessarily had the wrong approach; you did, however, in any case, have bad luck. and that can be changed. it absolutely can be changed and you do have the time to adjust your studying so you can make up for the misstep. itβs gon be okay buttercup <3
i personally attacked my bestie, talked to a few other ppl, and it helped get some of the frustration out. itβs also important you learn to speak to yourself how you would to a friend - you certainly wouldnβt tell them theyβre a failure and wonβt come back from this, would you? what you actively tell yourself shapes your subconscious thoughts.
get a long shower to wash the exam off, eat your meals slowly, get enough sleep (!), clean your room (unburden The Chairβ’ - srsly, do your laundry - and vacuum, change your bedsheets perhaps?)
be sure to make it realistic and flexible so you donβt end up inducing more stress (helpful posts: 1 2 3 4 (not mine)), try to finish all the topics at least 3 days before the exam so you can spend the last days refreshing your knowledge and preparing mentally instead of cramming.
is there anything you can do to get more out of your time? quality over quantity is super important when it comes to revision; try implementing more active recall into your study sessions (some posts you can consult on this topic: 1 2 3 (not mine), what is active recall?) and spacing them out more; try to avoid cramming as it increases your stress levels and isnβt as affective with committing information to memory. also, if you asses you could use some help, reach out! ask a friend, get in touch with your professor, seek advice onlineβ¦ getting help = showing readiness for improvement = mature and very welcome!
when youβre making your study plan, remember to also think of your mental and physical health β you can space out little acts of self care throughout the week (i.e. take a bubble bath every sunday, schedule a weekly video call with your best friend, allot time to spend with your s/o, do a quick workout every day,β¦) β or have a βmental health dayβ for a whole day each week (i.e. on saturdays, only do things you enjoy - spend the day reading/drawing/binging netflix/baking/β¦); i personally like to space my self care throughout the week and go for a walk with my best friend every two weeks or so. iβm not kidding, schedule your βmeβ time into your planner. write. it. down.
iβve mentioned it already but itβs so important it deserves itβs own bullet point - remember to also take good care of your brain. it is, after all, the organ working the hardest here. a whole day of studying, doing chores, talking to people, etc. has your synapses firing away like crazy, so sleeping is vital for them to recover and come back stronger the next day. give them time to cool down, process the information youβve gathered throughout the day and store it somewhere you can access it later. seriously. an important note here: there isnβt a single amount of sleep that is optimal for everyone - some people work best on 6 hours of sleep, some canβt go on less than 9. dedicate yourself to figuring out what works best for you and learn to plan your wake up time. β option no. 1: get into the habit of going to sleep and waking up every. day. at. the. same. time. - a good routine is even more vital in these times when time doesnβt even matter bc we literally donβt go anywhere ever. β option no. 2: if your uni/work schedule doesnβt allow you to establish a daily routine, try using sleepyti.me to calculate when you should wake up to feel most refreshed :)
hopefully these points can serve as a base/reference for your academic rebound <3 i wrote them up after straight up skipping the grieving-this-is-unfair phase of failure and just being left with a slightly-pissed-but-definitely-fed-up-with-this-class feeling. it dawned on me that i surely canβt be the only one facing this, so i decided to share this and hopefully help you guys out as well:) keep in mind: your worth has zero correlation with your grades, youβre a bad bitch and will not stop bc life tried to knock u down - hereβs a quote i like: when life knocks you down, calmly get back up and very politely say, βyou hit like a bitchβ. after that, u can follow these steps and flourish x
βAnd now have I not told you that what you mistake for madness is but over-acuteness of the senses? β now, I say, there came to my ears a low, dull, quick sound, such as a watch makes when enveloped in cotton. I knew that sound too. It was the beating of the old manβs heart. It increased my fury, as the beating of a drum stimulates the soldier into courage.β
