Idk Maybe The Reason Some People Find Genderfuckery So Cringy/abhorrent In "tme"s Or "theyfab"s Or Whatever

idk maybe the reason some people find genderfuckery so cringy/abhorrent in "tme"s or "theyfab"s or whatever term they're using today to reference transmascs is because it makes it harder to sniff out who is and who isnt a "cuntboy". heaven forbid they accidentally appreciate something a "zippertit"s wrote or painted, could you imagine how embarrassing it would be if they were found to be agreeing with a "transtrender"? the "tucutes" are not divulging their statuses as lesser transes, "tra"s dont experience real oppression like they do, there is something divine in their femininity that the "tif"s dont understand, etc, etc, etc.

its the same shit, different slurs, every time

People will really act like talia bhatt just has haters because she's a brown trans woman and not that she's an asshole who covers up her caste status, lashes out at random trans women who she thinks are slighting her, comes up with racist theories about how all genders from other cultures are just misgendered binary trans women with no input from queer people from those cultures, and lied about the existence of a cult and the harm of its survivors. It's just because miss radical feminism: trans flavor is all these minority identities.

If transmascs were saying "erm transfems being v-coded is just as bad as my dysphoria over not having balls" then people would lose their shit about it (as they should, because it's objectively not true and also an incredibly transmisogynistic thing to say), but somehow it's okay for TRFs to pull out the pitchforks when transmascs say that forced pregnancy as a form of detransition is worse than womb dysphoria???

The double-standards in this community baffle me.

Bluesky post by Talia Bhatt that reads "I cannot express how thankful I am to @juliaserano.bsky.social for her kind words. A significant part of 'The Third Sex' builds on her work, and without her foundational contributions to transfeminism, we wouldn't be at this point today. I am honored by her support of my work." Below is an image of a woman in a hooded cloath with crying make up and runes on her head. Superimposed over the woman is a quote that reads "Talia Bhatt uses a radical feminist framework to make a bold and compelling case that women's and trans people's oppression is deeply intertwined. An important contribution to both trans and feminist theory. - Julia Serano"
The same image of the woman and Julia's quote. "Talia Bhatt uses a radical feminist framework to make a bold and compelling case that women's and trans people's oppression is deeply intertwined. An important contribution to both trans and feminist theory. - Julia Serano"

if there was ever any doubt lmfao.

"There's no way this person I hate could face any hardship" is pretty common in TERF thought, so idk how these people can miss that unless the idea of a TERF is just a boogeywomyn for them

i wanna knooooooow what makes you half detrans. im sitting here in front of my computer, kicking my feet, waiting for an explanation (there is none) (it's just a roundabout way of calling you a man, in the same way they can call transmascs "theyfabs") (how long are we giving it until they start unironically calling you a trans-identified male, terf-style?)

also, aren't you objectively materially under bigger risk than transfems on hrt, under the trf framework? as someone who would literally be seen as a Faggot Male Invading Women's Spaces? what's your "yes woman, completely not on hrt" status mean in the trans radfem framework? (are they capable of constructing what it means for you to be in that position without just kneejerking?)

Yeah, lol. I try not to be weird about trans women with passing goals, all trans women are cool and should be allowed to do with their bodies what they want, and if that means looking as close to cis woman as is humanly possible I'm down with that and support them, but, also, literally every TRF would be as good as invisible if they walked into a woman's locker room next to me and they should consider that the next time they say TERFs are my biggest fan.

i am asking in what world conversations about the impact of terfs on trans people frequently center trans men and ignore the impact they have on trans women like

practically every conversation ive seen about terfs is entirely about trans women, to the point where bringing up the ways in which trans men are effected by terfs is considered derailing!

the comment about the "critique of how men interact with women" thing is also absolutely wild to me like. the whole "men are inherently Bad" thing is pretty deeply rooted in radfem (and thus terf) stuff, ime. so to see that reframed as "it's just a critique of how men interact with women" is just... wtf. like the bioessentialist views that radfems tend to have about like "the inherently evil nature of men" kinda stuff is a pretty major component in their treatment of trans women??? i thought this had been well established??? for years???

i mean seriously i had to double-check the blog name because i thought for a moment it was a very confused terf, because that kinda attitude is exactly how i'd expect a terf to defend their shitty idoleogy.

but i guess the issue isn't in "spouting essentialist ideology about the inherent evil of men", but rather in "people spouting bio-essentialist ideology about the inherent evil of men". because what we have here is "people spouting gender-essentialist ideology about the inherent evil of men".

or, in other words; diversity win! now your gender categories of "inherently awful violent brutes" and "inherently virtuous dainty victims" are gender inclusive!

yeah some trans women and men alike are desperate to just slot themselves into a radical feminist conception of the world and call it a day

You know, the argument that saying trans men don’t have male privilege is misgendering is actually really fucking annoying because privilege is not like. Anything intrinsic to who you are. You don’t have it by default as a result of your identity. It’s something you get as a result of the systems in power.

A deeply closeted trans man who has spent every waking moment living as a “cis woman” due to not socially transitioning due to being in an actively dangerous environment that won’t allow him to is still a man. If you argue that he has to have male privilege because he’s a man then you are not basing your theory on reality but on your own imagination. If you argue he isn’t actually a man because he doesn’t have male privilege then you just don’t see trans men as men.

If you equate manhood with access to male privilege then you just don’t see trans men as men. Or, best case scenario and it only applies if you’re a trans man, you’re turning to patriarchy as a source of gender validation when we should be dismantling the patriarchy. For your own sake, you absolutely need to have a concept of what your gender means to you and a source of validation for that gender that exists outside of patriarchy. If misogyny and by extension male privilege dissolves into nothingness tomorrow, what is it that makes you a man? You don’t need to answer that immediately, but you do need to at least think about it.

trans women who don't fight for trans men and nonbinary people don't care about all trans people, they only care about themselves.

trans men who don't fight for trans women and nonbinary people don't care about all trans people, they only care about themselves.

nonbinary people who don't fight for trans women and trans men don't care about all trans people, they only care about themselves.

if we want to survive and succeed, the only way is through solidarity. any trans activism that does not include all trans people has failed as trans activism.

idk man, if you're a cis girl who's reblogged/posted over 100+ trans discourse posts, a pretty decent chunk of which is calling trans men who disagree with you sexual predators, and not a single positive post that doesn't explicitly exclude trans men in the last YEAR, and are reblogging rin-tezuka, thicced-witch and cryptid-catnip consistently, while calling other trans women psyops...

I don't think anyone should take a single one of your posts seriously.

matter of fact i kinda think you should never try and speak on trans issues again.
