Riptide

Hearing the ocean’s riptide has to be the most calming thing there is. Each wave produces a completely different sound but somehow it has the same soothing rhythm.

Sometimes I wish my life was a bit more like the ocean’s riptide.

I wish there was more consistency in it, I wish it was had a predicable sound, I wish listening to it was relaxing.

But then it wouldn’t be life, now would it?

No, because life’s not about predictability or consistency. No, life’s about moving and adapting. But oh, God, how bad do I suck at moving and adapting. But if there’s non of it, then life’s boring and I suck at being bored more than I suck at moving and adapting. So, I must choose, I must settle for life. As weird as it may sound.

Because life is more like a riptide than I can imagine.

When you’re stroke by a wave and you get caught up inside the riptide there’s a moment when you don’t know which way is up and which way is down and what you must do is let yourself go and hope to be heading up.

That’s life.

It may not be soothing —because being inside the riptide is not what’s soothing, hearing the riptide is— but it sure as hell is entertaining.

Here it goes. I want to be mad at you, I wanna yell at you and call you names for being such a shitty ugly friend but then again you're my friend (or were at least) so I miss you. I fucking miss you. And I'm apart from other friends as well but I don't miss them. There's actually one in particular, which is involved in all this and for some reason I don't miss that other friend. We'll call that other friend Red (that's way it's not male or female). And Red has screwed me over in past in many different ways so I just had it with Red and Red's goings I had it and I drove myself apart and it was as easy as that (or it has been, let's see what happens when school starts) but with you... maybe you haven't screwed me over enough times for me to care less? But then what the fuck is wrong with me?! Like, once should be enough and if it's not then what kind of codependent being am I? I don't wanna be that girl. I don't wanna have a -second chances jar- in my pocket. So, I am mad at you. SO mad. Why can't you just check in, see what I've been up to. But oh no! How could you? You're a busy person right? Well I see you making time to check on others but I guess not me. And you don't even have the guts to tell me why the fuck are you behaving like a 3rd grader with me. So, fine, be childish. See if I find a fuck to give.

Pep's joining FC Bayern Munich.

I think we all heard the news, former Barcelona coach be joining FC Bayern Munich for 3 years. 

How do I put this without making anyone mad or upset?… Well, I guess there' s no way. I hate it! I totally and absolutely hate it!! More than pretty much any news I've heard recently. No, I'm not a hater, no, this isn't against Barcelona nor Guardiola himself. 

He's extraordinary at what he does, coaching spanish teams. Have you ever seen a german match and then a spanish one? The tactics are completely different. Spanish football techniques involve more movement on the feet while the german (which I prefer) is a very dynamic moved match because it from the end of the field to the other one from one second to another.

I hope he finds a way to combine that. Or make it better as it is now.

I'm not hoping for him to fail because I love my team and would never want to see them lose but he does have to prove me he deserves for us fans to call him a part of the team. 

I'm gonna miss Jupp so much. I know Guardiola is the best coach at Europe right now, and I respect that. 

Let's see what he can offer.
