Certain bronies made it weird... ʕಠ_ಠʔ
When hello kitty girls say they like hello kitty,no one bats an eye.
But when i say i like my little pony ,suddenly I’m weird.
When Sci-Twi sang "If I can stay with the light, I know I'll be free. I can start to be whole, I can start to be me.
But instead, I am struggling with all that I've seen. And these friends mustn't see the Midnight in me"
ITS AN ALLEGORY FOR MENTAL HEALTH AND NOT REACHING OUT FOR HELP BECAUSE YOU'RE SCARED OF BEING A BURDEN
I don't know why it took me so long to get that. This is from the Equestria Girls movie Legend of Everfree.
Beautiful work, and I adore FlutterBat💕🦇
took me a few more days than i intended but i finished it ๋࣭ ⭑🕸🦇🕸๋࣭ ⭑
Sunset Shimmer was literally terrified by this, because she was originally a pony 😭 Earlier in the short Applejack said “I tried to ask sunset to do this with me, but she just… wasn’t into it”.
Girlie was struggling

Equestria Girls: Better Together Season 2 “Run to Break Free”
For the most part, I really enjoyed this music video. The story is fun and it captures Rainbow Dah’s character super well. Not much that we didn’t already know, but at the end of it we see her do a sonic rainboom!! This is amazing?? And if I’m not mistaken, it’s the first time we’ve seen her do this in Equestria Girls
I have a confession to make though. I didn’t like the song. The lyrics ring true, the melody is fun, but the production falls flat for me. When you look at other songs for Rainbow (such as Awesome as I Wanna Be, a personal fav) they are all more up-beat with heavier drums and stronger vocals. The way the song began made a lot of sense for the music video, because it was Rainbow reflecting on an environment that made her feel dull and bored. But after the switch to her running, I would have loved to see a more dramatic kick up to the song. But that’s just how I feel about it. 🤷🏻♂️
Cozy Glow as a character frustrates me. Moreover, how we never even sniffed in the direction of a redemption arc for her. (Outside of the shared one with Tirek and Chrysalis in S9 that lasted a whole entire 3 minutes). We never get to see her backstory, learn about her family, and we don’t see any motivation for her actions other than simply wanting more power. We see some other villains who do the same throughout the series, but as far as we aware, cozy glow is just a little girl. Literally just a filly. And she never gets a redemption, or help, or learns a valuable lesson.
She is a kid that hates for the sake of hating until eventually she is turned to stone. I can see from one perspective that this was intentional: having a character that is just bad to be bad can be a refreshing break in the well-built stereotype throughout this show that everyone and anyone can be redeemed. But also. She’s a kid. I don’t like it. I would even argue that that throwing a 10 year old into a horrible, vile, dungeon meant for the most vile criminals and beasts, and then turning her to stone, is inherently immoral. But that’s just me.
I’ve read around about theories that Cozy Glow isn’t actually a filly, and is instead some bigger more-ancient evil being trapped in a filly’s body, or just looking like one. When we first met her character, this is also what I thought. All things considered, she totally could be! In which case, I would probably like the way her story ended a lot more. But in canon, we don’t really get anything that hints this is true. She is a cunning and manipulative foal, and her cutie mark is a chess piece. It tracks. She is kind of just evil because she wants to be, and this little kid gets sent to a horrible prison, and then turned to stone
This is so funny to me😭😭
Angry siblings <3
This show writes sibling dynamics so well, and in a healthy way for children to understand and learn how to handle inevitable conflict. I think it’s fantastic.
“Fluttershy Leans In” (S7, E5) is one of my favorite Fluttershy-centered episodes. This episode really shows us her character growth and how she has gained the ability to assert herself when it really matters.
As we’re all well aware, she is the element of kindness. In previous episodes, we saw her be a total push over and doormat for whoever wanted her to be in an attempt to remain kind. But she worked on this through the seasons, like how she learned that saying no can be very important in being truly kind in the episode with the Breezies. We also saw her work on her assertiveness during Iron Will’s workshop episode. What makes “Fluttershy Leans In” so intriguing to me is that we see these lessons truly come together as Fluttershy attempts to clearly communicate her vision as she builds a reservation for the animals. When the contractors she hired ignores her desires, she eventually snaps and tells them that they’ve done the exact opposite of what she wanted and that she wouldn’t have them working for her anymore. I absolutely LOVE that she stood up for herself. I also love that it’s connected to the animals, which makes her more confident in what she has to say. Fluttershy has come so far and I think her character growth was written really well.
I just finished season 8 of FiM.
Chancellor Neigh Say shouldn't have been redeemed.
