The Midwest has seen everything. You’re not the first west coast baby to move to the Midwest and you won’t be the last.
Hey everyone, would you be interested in a story told from the first-person perspective of a young woman who’s stuck living in a creepy underground town and has to face seriously chilling horrors? Let me know!
Bit weird that all the villains are kinky and the “good guys” are vanilla in the boys.
Hey did yall hear about two AI bots referencing some fucked up humor. Then someone making an ai bot that espoused cult speak based off that conversation? No? Well crypto bros made a crypto based off that cult speak and then started sending that bot money. Yes you heard that right. A bot started getting sent money.
I’m curious as to if a sociologist has compiled the phenomenon that occurs when people aren’t able to reply to a post. A lot get irrationally angry and screenshot the post to reply anyway. It’s weird seeing people’s response to not having access to a complete stranger’s account.
I believe the internet has conditioned people into thinking they parasocially deserve access to complete strangers at all times. If that access is denied it triggers some weird stimuli in the brain to make them find a way to reply anyway.
You can see this with muting and blocking too. “Of course that account blocked me!” Well maybe things need to be said without dealing with the ramblings of rude/ malicious replies.
You deserve to have an opinion. But I also deserve to not hear your opinion, if I don’t want to hear it.
It takes some people literal decades to grasp this concept. You aren’t entitled to have access to others.
I’m wheezing
Who are you calling a pipsqueak midget who can't even go to the beach because he's so small that he'd sink in the sand and then when the tide comes in he doesn't even say that he's worried about drowning because he's so microscopic he can breathe oxygen atoms IN THE WATER!????!
-e.e.
NO ONE EVEN SAID THAT!!
Remind me later.
Shitlibs will try to invalidate your experience just because they haven’t personally experienced it. These same people talk over POC, disabled, neurodivergent, and LGBTQ members because they haven’t personally experienced a specific thing. Congrats! The world doesn’t revolve around you. Quit being a jerk and open your ears. Shut your mouth.
It’s wild to me that people complain when people turn off replies. Social media has really conditioned people into believing everything requires a response and pointless debate. Sometimes people want to say something without being subjected to others wild misunderstanding of their statement. Sometimes things need to be said without an “erm actually” being thrown into the comments section. If anything replies being turned off has killed trolling and trolls see the most pissed off.
For later
**Using the word ‘said’ is absolutely not a bad choice, and in fact, you will want to use it for at least 40% of all your dialogue tags. Using other words can be great, especially for description and showing emotion, but used in excess can take away or distract from the story.
