I really don’t want to see rose or any bad wolf references in the upcoming doctor who seasons. Give it a rest

x Just yesterday, Palestinian civilians in Jerusalem were celebrating Israa and Miraaj when they were attacked by the Israeli forces. 31 Palestinians were injured and 20 were arrested, most of which are under the age of 15. A special-needs 11 years old girl was shot in the face and had her jaw broken, a typical terrorist for the zionist regime.

It is everyone's responsibility in times like this, when international support is given to Ukraine and rightfully so, to remember others who are identically oppressed yet completely cast into a "controversial conflict" light. If a Ukrainian bombs himself to defend his country New York Post calls him a hero, yet if any other person of colour in a third world country does this the international community doesn't even blink, claiming they don't know enough information to support anyone. For god's sake, when footballers raise the Ukranian flag in a match it's a heroic move but when others raise the palestinian flag they are fined for promoting terrorism. This is not a post to undermine the situation in Ukraine or to question the righteousness to resist invaders, on the contrary. It's a call for anyone reading this to be critical of how each injustice is represented and how right and wrong are manipulated by people in charge for their own good.

Hello everyone!
I am so sorry for the delay. I’ve been busy but am finally able to announce Black Midsummers Day!
This is a day that takes places this month on midwinter (aka - the winter solstice, 21st). I decided on a day, not a week (yet—the week will be in June) due to the close proximity of the event. But don’t worry—it’s an easy event.
Who is this event open to? Black people.
What is this event about?
Black Midsummers Day is an event to celebrate black people in sub and alternative genres that we are usually kept out of . Genres such as classical, goth, dark academia, vampires, fantasy, period, history, literature, etc.
How to participate:
It is simple and there are so many ways. The first way, is to post a selfie of yourself dressed in or in the aesthetics of anything mentioned above. But it’s totally fine if you don’t want to show your face! Do you write poetry, draw anything related to the genres above, make mood boards, aesthetics, etc., post that and that’s fine too. Also, do you sing anything relate above, play instruments, etc? Post that too?
Just make sure you are a.) black and b.) either @ this blog or use #blackmidsummers when you post!
This is supposed to be a fun event. As a black person myself who loves things like period drama, fantasy, alt cultures, etc., I never felt that we got to see ourselves in such areas. Especially black women and women aligned folks. That said, I want to represent us in all of your beauty.
If you aren’t black—you cannot partake but you are 100% free to share and boost this post and any posts related to it!
I'm already sobbing. Instead of being good people, they already made the dark skinned girl hypermasculine.
If a jawa called me stinky I’d start crying
1. The one that’s obsessed with ww2. Makes edgy jokes about Jewish people and constantly depends Hitler in a “joking” way. Focuses way too much on guns
2. The white guy that took a black studies course to attempt to disprove racism. Will willingly misinterpret information to build a flimsy case
3. The American ™️. Will not shut up about the revolutionary war. Glosses over American actrocties and constantly wants to pretend they’re heroes.
