i was born to a fairly normal family i think? i'm an only child, my dad was an engineer, and my mom was a substitute teacher. i spent half of my childhood in america, but my family moved to japan for my father's job when i was ten. it wasn't a very fun adjustment for a ten-year-old to have to make but looking back i'm glad we did it. my psychic powers were probably always latent within me somewhere, but they weren't always active. they started gradually waking up when i was around 12-ish? if i remember correctly that's when spoons started bending and shit. it took a while before i had a decent amount of control over what i was doing. my powers awakening made my relationship w/ my parents really tense, and when they went back to the us a few months ago, i decided to stay in japan.
Reminder that shifting is easy.
I shifted last night when I had no intention to. I didn't wanna shift anywhere specifically. I went to sleep being super tired and just for the purpose of sleeping. Any thought that came to me about shifting or my dr I just acknowledged them and said I am already there.
And I just let it be. I didn't focus on shifting or not shifting. I did what I wanted to do. Just going to sleep knowing that I am always in my dr because I exist there. It's that easy.
Most shifters genuinely forget to have fun in their shifting journey like this isn't supposed to feel like ur math homework ππ

β There was no βoh my god i shiftedβ moment. it all felt very natural to me. Youβve existed in your dr since forever, your βcrβ mind doesnβt take over when you shift, hence why itβs so natural when you shift.
β Thereβs no right way to shift. Iβve shifted in different ways (sleep paralysis, lucid dreaming, just simply thinking about being there etc). You can shift in any way you like. my last shift i simply went to bed and it happened! Donβt get caught up with worrying if youβre doing the right thing and go with the flow.
β You most likely shift by allowing yourself to do it and not forcing it. Thatβs why people are more likely to shift on accident and not when theyβre forcing it because thereβs no pressure. You have either shifted or not. Decide you have and trust yourself.
β Itβs the easiest thing in the world because you do it all the time. When you shift back itβs like βwait itβs that easy?β. Yes, you donβt need to affirm 500 times, visualise, meditate. Itβs simply just deciding you are there and trusting yourself.

not to fearmonger or anything but i know a lot of us have pinterest boards for our drs or use pinterest to script, so just a heads up that pinterest has switched to a VERY buggy ai moderation method. this has caused hundreds of accounts to be permanently banned for seemingly no reason over the past week. appeals are not being accepted. this thankfully has not happened to me yet but scrolling the pinterest subreddit for five seconds just looks like this
the only way i've seen to prevent this from happening to you is to simply not log in. if you ARE going to log in, for the love of god do not pin or post anything. my hope is that they'll roll this back relatively quickly and hire real people again but who fucking knows
