for the past several months, palestinian men have shown a great amount courage and bravery in the face of danger.

they have dug people and children out of rubble, sometimes alive and sometimes dead. they have travelled miles and miles to provide food and water for their family.

they have come online pleading with everyone to help them. many travel long distances for internet connection. they have been on the frontlines for months, providing for their family, documenting the genocide, helping people and in many instances, dying.

in return, they have been dehumanised, their lives are not counted as 'precious' because they are men. people have been indifferent to their suffering and death. they have been called scammers, all while they face the dangers of airstrikes, food and water scarcity, and disease. they have been dehumanised to such an extent that people refuse to help their fundraisers.

i urge you all to share the linked posts and donate what you can spare to those who are suffering. we owe it to them, for we never talk about their suffering.

Traditionally, the Summer Olympics has closed with the men's marathon as the final event. In 2024, for the first time in the Games' history, the women's marathon was the final event — 40 years after the women's marathon at an Olympic Games was first allowed. Sifan Hassan (Gold), Tigst Assefa (Silver), and Hellen Obiri (Bronze) receive their medals during the Closing Ceremony.

Hi,My name is Aya. I am 26 years old, I am from Gaza and I have two children Sana'a is five years old and Wasfi is three years old

But then, October 7th came, and we couldn't comprehend what happened to us after that day .we left our homes, abandoning everything, fleeing from death, bombing and terror

My children left their warm room، their toys, their clothes, and their schools, which they miss so much that they look at the pictures on the phone, remembering every detail, their eyes filled with tears. I always refuse to let them see the pictures of the house or the food financial support to meet even or basic needs. the food is very expensive. we survive on poor _quality canned goods _

My children are suffering from skin diseases

and the gas shortage has forced us to use fire for everything _cooking and backing _ using plastic and pipes because firewood is so hard to find

please help us. Every contribution, even if small, will make a difference in our lives

Please donate! check out their page and their story. everything helps

i know palestine will be free in my lifetime. i know palestine will be free in my lifetime. i know i will see the day palestine is free and i will see her shake the dust of occupation from her heels. i know the old people and children of her history will return to their ancestral homes, their houses, their valleys, their olive groves, not to to set their roots down again because their roots have always been there, will always be there, but to grow again, bear fruit for harvest, and never be cut down again. i know palestine will be free. i grieve for palestine and dream of palestinian joy.

i don't wanna sound hopeless but i feel like so many of you don't care or have stopped caring about palestine.

the news of hospitals being bombed, children being massacred, people dying from the cold, and the famine spreading in gaza does not seem enough to grab attention or make people care.

what new tragedy needs to befall gaza for you to start talking about it? the occupation kills a child every few minutes. people are cold and are starving. refugee camps are being bombed with bombs that can level city blocks.

this all happens because of all of us. we are complicit in this genocide because our governments use the taxes we pay to send weapons to the occupation. weapons that are used to kill children and impose a blockade that is starving 2 million people.

the very fact that we're still going about our days when all of this is going on breaks my heart. especially because we have failed to stop our governments from using our money to arm israel.

i urge you, please be generous and donate to suad and her baby khaled. he is just six months old and suad is unable to find any formula for him. if she finds anything, it is extremely expensive. the baby also needs warm clothes and is suffering from a respiratory problem and needs a nebulizer.

@suad-khaled has been verified [#279]

please help suad and her baby boy
