No. Self harm is anything you purposefully do that you do that harms your body or mind, and that you know will harm you, but that you do anyway.

mental age isn't a thing.

i am not "mentally a child." i am mentally an adult, because i am in my early 20s. i do not care how childish i seem; that never gives anyone the right to say that i am mentally a child. i am an adult who doesn't want nor deserves to be compared to a child.

i do not care how many times i watch sesame street, i do not care that my reading level is low, i do not care that i need lots of things simplified to me, i do not care about all the things i do that make me seem childish. i still am an adult and deserve to be treated like one. i will never be "mentally a child."

this theory hurts people with intellectual disability and i am tired of seeing it.

Imagine making a post about how much you want a marginalized group to face violence and thinking you're the party in the right. Imagine thinking that wishing violence on a marginalized group makes you anything other than a bigot.

Everyone has that ship that they don’t really hate per se, they are just really tired to see 99% of the fandom content online being about it and to see other possibly interesting ships being ignored.

It still frustrates me to this day that there are people on the Internet who will waste their time staring at a screen and laughing with their troll buddies about how “cringey” autistic people are, just for existing and talking about our experiences.

They take one look at autism blogs like mine, and their minds just go “lol autism funny XD lol r slur XD send death threats hahaha funny meme XDDD”. Because they’re ignorant and closed-minded about autism, and refuse to even try to see autism in the way we do.

Instead, they see us living our lives in our own, neurodivergent way, and think “they’re not like my stereotype, so they must be fakers, they think they’re so special and quirky, let’s troll them and send them threats”.

It’s obvious that these people have no personality other than “Internet troll” and “finds fun in harassing disabled people”.

You know who you are.

I’ve never been able to “just be me” without being labelled. I think it’s one reason why, even to this day, I mask so much. At least with the label of autistic it’s one that I like, and feel a connection to. I’m proud to be autistic, and when someone tells me that I shouldn’t use that label for whatever reason it feels like a slap in the face.
