You're not alone, the angels in Bayonetta are also one of my favorite enemies in video games, they're actually at the top of my list just because of their idea and designs, that's why I love them so much. It's a shame that there's so little fanart and fanfiction about them but now it's my duty to change that and make more :)

In order to save the world from a destroyed future, a god had to sacrifice his body and his lonely spirit.

At his side were three angels, a tight bond held them together until the three angels had to leave him, leaving only their bodies behind.

Then the god created the three angels as robots that could think and feel just like the ones he had lost.

Unbeknownst to him, his friends had returned, reborn in the bodies he had built. Still, blood was on his hands as he realized that their close friendship had escaped death and he now stood alone, ready to save the future, even if he had to make sacrifices to do so.
