Today is the first day of the weeklong strike for a ceasefire in Gaza.

I have realized that I do not think the message has spread far, at least on this website. This might be due to the lack of internet in Gaza, it has been down for days. Not much can be said by the citizens there, it's like some people forgot about them. I encourage all of you to share this post, or make your own, letting everyone know about this strike. This is something that should transcend the aesthetic of your blog. My blog was a gimmick blog, but for this week, it is a blog for spreading information and awareness.

Bisan Odwa (@wizard_bisan1 on instagram) has called for this strike. She is a journalist from Gaza, who has been experiencing this horrid violence for 15 weeks. 107 days. 2568 hours.

There is no way for a human being to be born innately, inherently, ontologically, “a bad person”. There is no mental illness that makes a person innately, inherently, ontologically “bad”. There is no “abuser gene”. There is no “abuser disorder”. Whether or not someone is abusive, manipulative, and cruel, is based entirely on the behaviors they choose to engage in. How they choose to see people and treat people. What thoughts they choose to entertain.

If you immediately “morally diagnose” someone based on their mental illness, that they did not choose to have, you are choosing to engage in a cruel behavior. I don’t care if you believe you’re “empathetic”, you do not have a “good person” gene, or some sort of “good person” condition. Whether someone has high empathy or no empathy, all people are individually responsible for their own behaviors. There is nothing innate about you that absolves you from being responsible for abusive behavior.

Stop demonizing personality disorders, and start actually holding abusers accountable for their choices. End of argument.

The war in Sudan has reached its 10th month. The war has been met with a global indifference or there has been no desire to act from many world leaders.

8 million people have fled their homes and millions of Sudanese people have emergency food insecurity, with 5 million people on the brink of famine. even the neighbouring country Chad has had to declare a food insecurity emergency due to the mass amount of Sudanese people that have fled to Chad. (By no fault of their own of course)

Faced with a media blackout which is over a week at this point we need to continue to amplify the voices and plight of the Sudanese people.
