Remember how in the original series Fudou would steal the ball from Kidou, making him fall to wake him up from his Kage-induced-trance? Well in the game he doesn’t do that. In the game he goes up to Kidou and SLAPS the Hell out of him. One. Single. Powerful. Slap. To Kidou Yuuto, the Absolute Leader of the pitch, the genius playmaker. Right in front of EVERYONE!  And that’s so much more powerful than stealing his ball, it shows a deeper, more intimate and direct connection between them, because you don’t go slap a stranger or someone that you don’t care about, even if they’re annoying. Also, I love how he just doesn’t care about who Kidou is, he needs to get his shit together and he will slap him into it.

In Ares they both have the number 19. And yes, I know I tend to read too much into stuff but listen, let a girl dream ok?  Anyway, the 19 is divisible only by number 1 and itself, it’s made from the first and last single-digit numbers and that makes the 19 a number of completion, a number of beginning (1) and end (9). In the number’s symbolism number 19 is an auspicious number being associated with success and honor. This number is filled with joy and happiness. ALSO, the tarot card number 19 is The Sun. This card, when upright, represent a time when you can finally see the path ahead of you and through the hardship you have endured, you have attained a new level of insight and understanding. The Sun reversed indicates that finding the positive aspects to a particular situation may prove to be difficult. Your direction and path ahead may have become clouded or distorted in some way. Nonetheless, the Sun is never a negative card, so this is only temporary. The obstacles you see can be easily removed if you put your mind to it.  And honestly? This sounds a lot like them to me, with all the troubles they have to go through and their hard-working souls, always striving to be better.

Let it sink. This is just…so goddamn beautiful and…and I don’t even know, it sums up their relationship so well? And it’s tied to point one of this mini list yes, but also to every other time Fudou pushed Kidou to surpass his limits and just snap out of his self-doubts? Gods I love this quote so much and to think that the actual voice actor said it is!!!! AMAZING! But you know what’s even MORE amazing? You guessed it: read more into it! So, “breathe life” in a more scientific key can be translated into breathing oxygen into someone’s lungs to bring it back to life. And do you know what’s the atomic number of Oxygen in chemistry? The number 8. Fudou, breathing life so oxygen, Fudou having the number 8 on his shirt, EVERYTHING FITS LEVEL5 I KNOW WHAT YOU DID THERE!

Omg, Domino squad getting saved because one of them turns into a dragon at Rishi and just completely loses it at the thought of any of the Dominos getting hurt. Just completely wrecks the droids with no thought to self preservation and maybe even gets hurt quite badly cuz they went so far beyond their limits. Rex and Cody arrive to absolute carnage and have to talk down this dragon that won't let any of their squad away from where they can protect them

here’s my worldbuilding hot take for the day: the whole “Miraluka veils” thing is not, in fact, an artifact of their own culture (because that makes no sense to me whatsoever), and came about solely because other species are so often unnerved by their lack of eyes.

Miraluka as a whole started hiding their vestigial empty sockets in order to facilitate relations with other species, since it turned out to be an easier solution than just telling the entire rest of the galaxy “get over it.” There are, however, groups of Miraluka that do in fact refuse to wear such garments out of defiance for often-Human-centric norms, as a borderline-political statement to challenge the idea that one should try to appear as “Human-passing” as possible just because other species won’t make an effort to move past their biases. Such groups are contentious in some areas, and largely ignored in others.

In private, among other Miraluka, and oftentimes among friends, Miraluka will frequently remove the veils/masks for comfort. The rare non-Miraluka individual who visits Alpheridies is often shocked and unsettled to realize that the veils/masks are a courtesy to other species which is usually discarded on Miraluka-dominant worlds and ships, and is forced to either adapt to a sea of eyeless faces or end up leaving the planet.

(Supplemental headcanon: Miraluka clothing, architecture, etc. often seems incredibly bland and boring to sighted species - because it’s not crafted with sight in mind. Dyes and paints are a completely foreign concept to Miraluka. Art and decoration is instead based largely on texture and shape, and clothing is primarily functional (warmth, physical support, carrying items, etc.) with the texture and weight of a textile valued instead of its color.)

I live in Lebanon and the fiercest explosion went off in the midst of Beirut today, killing off an ungodly amount of human beings (more and more people are dying as I write this) and injuring up to 5000 people whose cases are immensely critical. Today,, at approximately 6 pm, hospitals were completely torn to shreds, people have been buried underneath fallen buildings, fires have been ignited almost everywhere, blood staining the streets in an excruciating manner, in addition to people that flew and fell to the sea due to the impact of the explosion. And it is certainly worth mentioning the millions upon millions' worth of damages what with buildings and cars and stores. Plenty of people are missing, it's an overall mess that is quite frankly very traumatizing.

What Lebanese people have been undergoing in recent times:

Lebanon has been going through a major economical decline that grows worse and worse by the day. The prices have heightened and the salaries remain the same, scarcely anyone has the capacity of affording basic needs anymore. There has been an unfolding revolution the past year, and the lebanese society has been protesting against the humiliation thrust upon our lives due to our miserable excuse for a government, and though the streets bled with thrashing, screaming citizens fighting for their utmost basic human rights, that caused mere to no change in the way things go around here, in fact, it only made it worse. We're being provided with, metaphorically, a droplet's worth of water and nearly no electricity, a pregnant woman has even passed away recently due to a heat stroke (as there were no means of cooling off)

What caused the setting off of this explosion?

The ignorance, heartlessness, and overall brutality of the government and the people in control.

A critical amount of chemicals (2700 tons of ammonium and other nitrates) were left inside a ship along the port of Beirut, and though the people in charge of this transaction were warned that heat and perspiration have the capability of destroying the whole of Lebanon in ode to a massive explosion, they refused to do anything about it and left the chemicals in there for years on end.

Up until, surprise surprise, the explosion went off and devestated Lebanon almost entirely.

I don't have much followers, and I know that this post isn't going to magically heal what is unfolding in this, priorly gorgeous, magnificent country, but I truly hope with all my heart that you find it within yours to spread awareness on this topic so that it would be more widespread,, so that Lebanon gets the aiding it deserves and the people from outer places slap the 'big bosses' awake, or at least pressure them into resigning, whatever it takes to make this place sufferable, tolerable, somewhere you can picture yourself residing in.

Lebanon is a place of infinite traditions, diversity, creativity, joy, and love. Most of the people here are open-hearted and wholesome. We all deserve far better.

My heart aches for the people that have passed away today, and I shall pray for the ones stuck in hellish suffering.
