Top 3 Random KDFD facts that I absolutely love:
Remember how in the original series Fudou would steal the ball from Kidou, making him fall to wake him up from his Kage-induced-trance? Well in the game he doesn’t do that. In the game he goes up to Kidou and SLAPS the Hell out of him. One. Single. Powerful. Slap. To Kidou Yuuto, the Absolute Leader of the pitch, the genius playmaker. Right in front of EVERYONE! And that’s so much more powerful than stealing his ball, it shows a deeper, more intimate and direct connection between them, because you don’t go slap a stranger or someone that you don’t care about, even if they’re annoying. Also, I love how he just doesn’t care about who Kidou is, he needs to get his shit together and he will slap him into it.
In Ares they both have the number 19. And yes, I know I tend to read too much into stuff but listen, let a girl dream ok? Anyway, the 19 is divisible only by number 1 and itself, it’s made from the first and last single-digit numbers and that makes the 19 a number of completion, a number of beginning (1) and end (9). In the number’s symbolism number 19 is an auspicious number being associated with success and honor. This number is filled with joy and happiness. ALSO, the tarot card number 19 is The Sun. This card, when upright, represent a time when you can finally see the path ahead of you and through the hardship you have endured, you have attained a new level of insight and understanding. The Sun reversed indicates that finding the positive aspects to a particular situation may prove to be difficult. Your direction and path ahead may have become clouded or distorted in some way. Nonetheless, the Sun is never a negative card, so this is only temporary. The obstacles you see can be easily removed if you put your mind to it. And honestly? This sounds a lot like them to me, with all the troubles they have to go through and their hard-working souls, always striving to be better.
This one is my absolute favourite that I kept for last! Fudou’s voice actor once said, while talking about Fudou, “I want him (Fudou) to breathe life into Kidou whenever he loses his way”. Let it sink. This is just…so goddamn beautiful and…and I don’t even know, it sums up their relationship so well? And it’s tied to point one of this mini list yes, but also to every other time Fudou pushed Kidou to surpass his limits and just snap out of his self-doubts? Gods I love this quote so much and to think that the actual voice actor said it is!!!! AMAZING! But you know what’s even MORE amazing? You guessed it: read more into it! So, “breathe life” in a more scientific key can be translated into breathing oxygen into someone’s lungs to bring it back to life. And do you know what’s the atomic number of Oxygen in chemistry? The number 8. Fudou, breathing life so oxygen, Fudou having the number 8 on his shirt, EVERYTHING FITS LEVEL5 I KNOW WHAT YOU DID THERE!
And this is it, sorry I just wanted to share a bit of what I love the most about my dear OTP (that from now on I’ll tag also as 8O like in 8atomic number of Oxygen, because I always give dumb tags to everything)
(also I’m tagging @ygreczed bc FINALLY I did that thing about their new shirt numbers yay!)

Nautolan feet v2.0
I can’t find it now, but I really didn’t like my previous attempt to draw decent swimming feet for them in 2019, so here’s version 2: T-Rex frog edition.
There ARE shoes for Nautolans, but most prefer to go without or with simple foot wraps. And whether or not they blunt their claws is up to personal preference, but it’s more common for off-world Nautolans to do so.
okay you know what I would absolutely kill for? younger teenage Luke and Leia accidentally meeting up (maybe Luke stole a ship, or got arrested) and Obi-Wan having to (a) find them, and (b) stop them from destroying everything in their path once he does.
I just want to watch him attempt to reason with two very angry, very powerful fourteen year olds whose dearest wish is to blow up an imperial cruiser. Negotiator indeed.
The ceiling is sooo high
for some reason, this is making me smile
Holy HELL this is good...
Pouring the fuel, fanning the flames Breaking the habit and melting the chains Embracing the fear, chasing the fight The glow of the fire will light up the night The bridges are burning, the heat’s on my face Making the past an unreachable place Pouring the fuel, fanning the flames I know, this is the point of no return
Point of no return by Starset is a great song and it always reminds me of shin teikoku Genda so here we are now

“It’s over. I’m sorry it has to be this way, but it’s the best I can do for you. Belonging to that team of losers won’t do you any favor.
Can you feel it?… The hate blooming in your heart. Poisoning every inch of your soul. You’re the same as me… And I’m sure we can do great things together. We can… Change the rules of the game. You won’t be alone anymore. Don’t try to scape from me… Don’t even think to make me your enemy. Because I can make you wish we never met at all.”

Mandalorian gear comes in quite a few variations, and it can vary based on things like era, clan, status and taste of the wearer. There are, however, some basics that can be helpful to understand how it all fits together. Let’s start with the soft parts, part 1:
A normally one piece suit that goes over underwear and stuff like thermals, and the like. We do see characters in partial ones, like Sabine Wren, however considering she was a teenager on the run & that she later acquired one would perhaps indicate that it was not a choice but rather out of necessity.
There are several variations of flightsuits, but the basic types we see are the classic Boba Fett based type with extra sleeves & a type that is more like the stormtrooper/clone trooper undersuits/blacks and equally tightly fitted.
Bo-Katan for example wears the first type in live action, but the second type in animation. (Also of note is that the blacks type has so far only been worn by female characters. Gee, I wonder why.)
Materials
Fabrics, like a cotton twill or denim for the Boba Fett style suit. Softshell, strechy fabrics & thicker athletic wear like for the blacks type suit.

Here’s concept art of Sabine Wren in the two main types, blacks type to the left and in the middle with a flak vest. Boba Fett style to the right with a flak vest:
Boba Fett (OT):
Flak vests come in a myriad of variations. Normally made out of a tough material that you use to attach you chest, back & neck pieces too. Sometimes the shoulder pieces as well, depending on the type. In The Mandalorian most mandos seem to favor variations of the sleeveless vest type.
Materials
Heavy duty fabrics, quilted fabrics, canvas, leather, rubberised cloth, etc.

Bo-Katan in a t-shirt style flak vest over a blacks type flight suit & Bo-katan in a vest type flak vest with leather reinforced shoulders & a Fett style flightsuit:
Boba Fett in his OT flak vest (sandy color vest type with flaps to attach shoulder armor to) & Boba Fett in his new flak vest (black with pleated shoulders that stick out over his armor, shoulder armor attached to sleeves that on close inspection appears to be pleated as well and attached to the flak vest, so far this style is unique to him):
Jango Fett, wearing a leather or rubbery looking flak vest with attached flaps for shoulder armor & a blue Fett style flightsuit:
(Interestingly during the empire era several female mandos switch to a style with no flak vest, notably Clan Wren, while Bo-Katan favors what looks like black leather like material in a t-shirt shape that might simply be a part of her flightsuit, but concept art implies it’s a separate piece. This might simply be because of the sleek look of Rebels animation)
Round or square toed. Work boots, ankle boots, tall boots. Chunky soles, often covered with spats and/or armor.
Materials
Leather or leatherlike, spats material can vary.

From left to right, from the top: Din Djarin (altered light brown chelsea boots with brown spats), Boba Fett OT (chelsea boots with spikes, worn greyish black), Fenn Rau (black with blue spats), Sabine Ren (tall black boots with slight chunky heel), Bo-Katan Kryze TCW (ankle high black combat boots, chunky sole), Ursa Wren (brown, grey spats)
Koska Reeves and Axe Woves, both are wearing dark brown ankle boots covered in spats made of a leather like material.
Combat gloves, leather gloves, fingerless gloves. Usually with a handplate. At least long enough to hide edge under the bracers.

Note: While this book was put out very recently, indicating an intention for these mentions to be canon, I would be careful of taking these as Hard Fact until they’ve appeared in an actual story somewhere (and sometimes they’re already wrong, 2019′s Master and Apprentice shows Qui-Gon was offered a seat on the Council, while this book says he wasn’t). But they are SUPER FUN details to help expand the world in the meantime!
