There is no way of truly knowing that the porn you consume is as "ethical" as it claims to be. Are you 100% sure that the actors haven't been trafficked? Do you know for certain that the performers are of age? Do you know, without a shadow of a doubt, that there is no abuse, coercion, or exploitation going on behind the scenes?

Just because something is marketed as "ethical" or "feminist", doesn't mean that it actually is.

body neutrality will always be more important than body positivity. you don't need to expand your definition of beauty to include yourself. you have a nose for breathing, legs for walking, and eyes for seeing. you don't owe "beauty" to anyone. learn to be comfortable in your body without having to be seen as 'attractive". confidence does not mean attractiveness

And of course it can be even worse at your age. Please know that you always should prioritize your safety, happiness, and wellbeing. If seeing all the misogyny being exposed by fellow radical feminists is overwhelming, if you’re feeling conflicted about your views and it’s causing you distress, if people are being unkind to you, even if you don’t have a reason at all, it is 100% always okay for you to disengage. one of the main principles of radical feminism is being anti-organized religion. i see radfem woc talking about how racism affects misogyny more then i see anywhere else (as they should), and not affirming and agreeing with the ethics of someones identity isnt the same as 'really hating them'.

Radical feminism sounds so cool and great an amazing but then you look deeper and are like "do you think critically about how race and gender intersect to create unique discrimiantion for women of color?" and they're like "no?" and your like "oh so you must think critically about how religion is often a tool of sexism?" and they're like, "no?" and so you're getting kind of confused, because what is radical about it, so you ask just that and they're like "we really hate trans women and think trans men are confused and just trying to escape the patriarchy" and you're like ohhh. so you're a fucking freak (derogatory).

genuinely devastated thinking about the amount of times I was nice to men in situations where they deserved to be told to fuck off and die 💔

I feel a bit iffy about young kids in radblr spaces, so I just wanted to come in and say I hope you stay safe. Radfems get a bunch of death and rape threats. Apart from that, there are a lot of very grotesque topics we discuss that can be triggering for a sensitive audience.

I also recommend turning off anons. People feel way more comfortable being unapologetically hateful when they don't have to directly link their profile.
